There are lot of transient houses near baguio proper with the same price but the view here was exceptional. The owner was very friendly and hands on to her guest. This is a perfect place if you wanna isolate yourself and relax. You will definitely enjoy the view of La Trinidad here.

The view is what really made it all worth it. Over looking the downtown of Baguio and the surrounding uphills. My friend even ended up extending his stay for another week. Its far from crowd and noise so you can really enjoy some senti time too. 🤗🥰 Salamat po Ate Rosi!

Room policies are not clearly stated in the booking app that we were downgraded to studio type room (from suite). Shared kitchen with cooking fee 200php -if stove is used. Perhaps, the owner may try to consider using electric stove rather than gas stove. Facilities need improvement in the studio room - faucets are not working properly, no other free toiletries other than 1 tissue roll; towel provided is also very thin (probably used >100 x) with a hole on it. Regardless, this location offers a great overview of the city and chilly at night even though it’s summer - it’s on top of a mountain! On that note, it’s also good for guests to be mindful in using the water wisely since it’s scarce in this area and owner has to contact the water supplier for delivery. This place is approx. 15mins away from the city and caution to be taken if you’re going home late at night and raining- no streetlights in the passage area.

It is indeed a rocky road until you arrive but it was worth it, the overview of la trinidad benguet was surreal. The rooms were very comfortable, the owner and staff were friendly and accomodating. 10 out of 10

This place is a hidden gem in La Trinidad, overlooking La Trinidad (NOT BAGUIO) and the strawberry fields. You go here for the weather and views, do not expect 5 star amenities or anything fancy. Bring anything and everything that you will need! Rooms has beds, comfort room and nothing else. They have a small convenience store in the property selling pantry items like water, canned foods, instant noodles etc. No breakfast but they have a kitchen where you can cook your own food (Ma’am Dianne cooked for us during our stay💕) bring your own food Free Unli Brewed Coffee during breakfast (not sure if whole day) Water Heater for shower ✅ Bidet ✅ Towels & Thick Blankets ✅ QUICK WARNING • If booking here and driving, make sure your car is POWERFUL enough to get past all the steep roads going here, there is an area right before the Hostel where the road has caved in (Drive at your own risk!) • No public transport anywhere near this place, talk with Ma’am Dianne so she can help you organize vehicle going out

We stayed in the basic double with shared bathroom. It was clean and comfortable, but the corridors are noisy. We may have been unlucky but there was a group making noise until midnight. Apart from the room, the homestay is perched on the hillside with beautiful views. WiFi is good in some areas and there is free coffee and use of their kitchen. We ordered Grab food delivery which arrived easily enough. It's a bit isolated though (20 mins drive to town up and down hills), so don't stay here if you plan to potter around town. Taxis can be arranged to take you back to town for about 160 pesos. The family who run the homestay are lovely, very friendly and helpful. If it wasn't for the noise of the other guests, I'd give this 5* as it fulfils all the needs of a peaceful basic lodging.

Manang Rosita is very accomodating and kind. As to the place, it is very cold (feb. 23 - feb. 25) as compared to the city proper. Neighbors are very far from each other due to this you can really enjoy the scenery while having your hot drinks and relax with the serenity of the place. Wifi is also available here.

Very nice view for your relaxation, but the road map is very hard, if your planning to go there just take your own service.

They have no room available when we got there... We booked for 1 day and already paid.. they didn't even know that we are coming They kindly offered us to sleep on the floor with a foam and blanket since it is already dark. We agreed and and they promised us to atleast repay some of the amount we spent which not yet fulfilled. We would have loved to go back again though.

If you want to go outskirts of town this is the best place, quiet, relaxing, plus food is being prepared by ate Gina. You can look for her at Wanay Homestay.
