Hands
down
the
best
bar
in
Baguio.
Low-pressure,
low-key,
low-light,
low-ceiling
place
for
a
bite
to
eat
and
a
drink
with
friends.
Beer
&
a
full
cocktail
menu.
Cash
only.
Four
stars
because
it's
an
authentic
bar
with
some
personality,
not
because
it's
fancy!
Prices
are
very
reasonable.
They
offer
a
full-range
of
cocktails.
Staff
is
friendly
without
being
bothersome.
I
don't
know
if
this
location
has
been
a
bar
forever
or
whether
they
just
have
a
very
gifted
interior
designer.
Either
way
you
feel
like
you
stand
in
a
long
line
of
patrons
that
have
bellied
up
to
the
bar
for
camaraderie
and
cocktails.
I
asked
my
server
what
he
suggested
for
dinner
and
he
immediately
pointed
out
the
Beef
Tapa
plate
with
egg.
Not
the
most
expensive
item
on
the
menu
by
far.
I
appreciate
that
sort
of
honest
opinion.
The
Beef
Tapa
plate
with
egg
indeed
was
delicious.
A
mound
of
steamed
white
rice
accompanied
with
thinly-sliced
beef
sauteed
with
fresh
onions.
The
beef
was
tender
and
the
onions
were
not
cooked
into
a
soggy
mess.
Delicious.
A
small
bowl
of
white
vinegar
was
also
on
the
plate
and
it
brightened
up
both
the
rice
and
the
beef.
Additionally
I
was
provided
with
a
bottle
of
chili
oil
as
well
as
with
a
bottle
of
hot
sauce.
I
wish
I'd
tried
them
both
with
the
meal
because
they
tasted
good
on
their
own!
Tragically
they
were
out
of
onion
rings,
but
the
Long
Island
Iced
Tea
I
ordered
was
both
well-balanced
and
enormous.
Bar
has
a
good
selection
of
both
local
liquors
and
Western
brand
names
(Jameson's,
Bacardi,
Jack
Daniels,
etc.).
The
place
was
pretty
empty
when
I
arrived
but
more
people
were
filtering
in
after
9pm.
This
is
a
great
little
place
to
escape
the
hustle
and
bustle
of
downtown
Baguio
and
enjoy
a
bite
to
eat
and
a
cocktail.
