We came on a Monday night so we had the place to ourselves. The restaurant looked pleasant and well lighted. We ordered Cheesy Lumpia Bites and Okoy for appetizers ,Clam Pasta and Baguio Bagnet for our main course plus Panna Cotta, Coconut Ice Cream and Scones paired with Ruins Coffee for Dessert. The meal was delicious and our orders came out fresh and hot. We appreciated the fact that our dishes were changed according to our courses, the table was cleared and napkins were replenished as well. The waiter even helped us get a cab after the meal. It was a very good dining experience and the service was excellent. We will definitely tell our friends to visit this place and we will surely come back for more.

My Baguio trip won’t be complete without dining at this favourite restaurant. Visited their new address but it doesn’t have the same ambiance as the original. Even the food and the service was a total disappointment.

Cozy ambiance. But they can still work on improving their customer service. The servers weren't attentive. Had to raise my hand 5 times before someone approached us. Their food had extreme taste. Too salty for the soup, too sour for the lemon juice.

Awesome ambience and even more awesome taste. Food options is limited but the taste is exquisite. We had bagnet and pinikpikan, as well as the kesong puti cheese sticks. Bagnet was good and tender while pinikpikan tastes just as great. Food servings are big but mostly for single serve. Food is a bit pricey but a good spend for the ambience, taste, a good chat and a great Baguio experince.

The original Cafe By the Ruins has a better cozy feel compared to this one. This one is missing the warmth and charm of the old one. It lacks the feeling of going to a country-feel home. Coffee and pasta are exquisite but bakery is a bit bland, as it lacks the extra delish flavor. Plus for the place is the spacious parking and friendly staff.

Let's start with a couple of things I liked about this place. The ambience and interior is good. I like the authentically Pinoy vibe. From the servers' uniform to the menu and place mats - I'm digging the local vibe in this place. Well, that was until I saw the paper lanterns which isn't really authentically Pinoy in my opinion. Also, I like how corteous the servers were. They're really polite and good-looking as well. Haha. What disappointed me when I visited this place was the coffee. There's nothing really special about it. Even their signature blend - I forgot the name - wasn't that good. Not to say that the cup of coffee I was served was not that hot. The dessert I wanted was not available amd I settled for the "Whopie Pies" which was recommended by the server. It tasted like some stale choco bread with super sweet cream filling. I wasn't able to finish all 3 pies.

Food is average. Price is on the high side. Ambiance is good. We went to Cafe by the Ruins Dua (the second branch) and they do not have proper parking. You just have to park in front of their restaurant at your own risk. Will I come back? Hmmm. I have to think twice if I am going there with my car again. Too risky.

The tea and hot chocolate was great! I was a bit disappointed with the steak we ordered and their menu is not that diverse. The food was too much for its price. The ambiance of the place was good though.

Excellent service... staff are attentive and proactive. Food is superb! The slow cooked meals are full of flavor.. And We love the chocolate lava cake! Would have liked to try their bread and cheeses next time.

This new place for me is better than the old one. There's parking space across the street. Food never fails to satisfy you. Pasta noodle is a little hard but they are more than willing to remedy the food. They are very accomodating. Will definitely go back again!

Staff wasn’t that attentive, he didn’t offer any entree so I forgot to order their bread to start. He left us and just came back after a few minutes to get our orders. I ordered Chopsuey (PHP 220) it was really good, really fresh veggies, not salty; Beef Mami (180) soup was a bit cold, but tasted good; and red rice (45). Afterwards, I asked the staff to give me their best coffee and I was disappointed as he gave me the Siphon coffee (70) in which I’m not a fan of this - too strong for me. Overall, it’s a good place to visit, but I’ll definitely go back to try their 🥖🤗

Nothing special. Serving takes FOREVERRRR!! But the guards were nice. Good parking space too. Overpriced. As in OVER! Hot choco (rizal) was meh. Carbonara and arroz caldo were bland. I don’t know about the binagoongan coz I don’t eat pork but mom said it was fine. Wouldn’t eat here again 😢 wasted 1k for all of these food.

A must visit in Baguio! ♥️ Super love the food. It's so homey, especially the Rizal's Tsokolate-e! A bit pricey tho but you get what you pay. Will definitely visit again!
