Rose Bowl restaurant - yes, please remove the word 'steakhouse' from the restaurant name as they no longer serve steaks here. It moved from it's old location in Burnham Park in 2010-2011. Close to nearby Pink Sisters. This is such a food institution that I grew up with as a Baguio regular way back from the 70's and 80's - but this is no longer the same Rose Bowl restaurant that I grew up and had so many fond memories of eating such memorable Chinese dishes. Sadly (pandemic-driven?) - the quality has gone way down the food chain, with the cameron rebosado and lumpia shanghai rolls shrunk to a hollow memory of those fond food memories. Star Cafe, I heard, closed down over a decade ago when the family members immigrated to Canada (?). Honestly - might be time for the current owners to do the same with Rose Bowl.

One of Baguio’s firsts when it comes to semi fine dining that specializes in oriental dishes. This one at upper General Luna Road is actually a rebirth of the original Rose Bowl near the Burnham Park area where we had a lot of functions before including press conferences with well known personalities like Presidents and diplomats. Its owners are active members of the Baguio Association of Restaurants (BAR) and this restsurant is also recipient of numerous citations and awards. Just recently (Jan 11,2020) our news organization, the Cordillera News Agency had a dinner and election of new set of officers here and it was our first meeting for the year.

For delicious Cantonese cuisine, this is the place you go. Service I'd tops, parking and eating spaces are wide and the service is always great.

We visited the Rose Bowl Steakhouse & Restaurant twice in our 3 nights stopover in Baguio City on our way to Banaue, January 2016. It was 2 really good & hearty dinner we had with very delicious Chinese cuisine. The waiters were very quick to attend to customers needs. Hot cups of tea & cold glasses of water are served immediately after one has finished the order. Great food service. Good portions of food per order. Price were reasonable, The interior is well organized, plenty of window glass, plenty of light & sounds from customers chatting was subdued. The comfort room was clean & tidy. Kind, respectful & helpful guard at the entrance & parking area. Highly recommendable.

LOVE this place. My new favorite in Baguio. Classy atmosphere. Fantastic staff. Amazing food. Large menu. Great prices. You must try the rolls and the garlic rice... and everything else.

An old Baguio favourite! They moved to this new (and better) location a few years back and the ambiance has improved by leaps and bounds. This place serves great chinese food at reasonable prices. Service was prompt and efficient.

An institution in Baguio. This is not their original location but I think they’ve been here for the past 10 years. It’s a Filipino style chinese restaurant and food is always reliable . Quality is good , portions are huge and always plenty of fresh veggies . I love their waiters especially the old timers. They’re very attentive and pleasant. Just a note that their steak is more like the Filipino bistek and not a western style thick cut steak. Get the one with onions. It’s good 👍🏻

My only concern is that it is now located on an area where it is quite far away from town unlike before when the old rose bowl was in Harrison road where Tiong San is now situated. But believe you will never regret on the quality of food you may have it's so delicious.

For a Taiwanese, the Chinese style food in this restaurant is not good enough. But it's still better than other restaurants.

Been coming here since I can remember. The oldie but goodie parts of Baguio that is good healthy food, good servings and best tasting at a reasonable price. If you're visiting Baguio, you should definitely try their food before leaving Baguio.

The food was alright and they provided generous portions. The service could have been better. The waiter forgot to give us the tray of chili oil and other condiments to give food more zing. Note that this should have been routine.

While the 'Steakhouse' part is very misleading, this Asian style restaurant serves a mean kick with their delicious Hot and Sour Soup and Mapo Tofu. A budget friendly dine for taste.

Food was great! Didn't have to wait long for food to be served. The servers and parking attendant are nice and pleasant. Will come back for sure. :)

Food is average for the price. There are better restaurants for the same price point. Place is dated and so is the menu. Always no Patatim available. Like other reviews we had stomach issues after dinner there. Food served was not even warm. The soup was warm at least. Its ok but other modern updated chinese restaurants are there.

As usual this is the "eat place" for old souls who longs for the best of Baguio eats! From my younger years to now, this is still the place where food comforts me.

Best Patatim and Special Chopsuey in town! Topped with Carmen's Best vanilla ice cream and Almond Lychee for dessert.

The food served is perfect. I mostly like the pancit canton, sweet and sour pork, the birds nest soup and yang chow rice is perfect. They really serve the best Chinese food.

Superb dining experience! Worth the price and they have big servings. They also have plenty of dishes to offer on their menu and we only ordered few of them. We got pancit Canton, beef tapa, fried chicken, chicken asparagus soup, rose bowl fried rice and lychee for dessert. We are definitely going back to this restaurant and try more of their other dishes.

👍👍 Ate here everyday that we were in Baguio because we love the home-cooked style. Plus the price is definitely a great selling point Highly recommend their chicken (tastes good even without any sauce) and their cinnamon twists (100 times better than Starbucks' cinnamon roll). The only thing I didn't...

👍👍 Famous for their Cream Puffs, but was not available. We had Sinigang which was really good and their buttered chicken which was okay. Service was amazing, there was a 'bot' serving the food and the service crew are always available to help. Great way to start your Baguio vacation

😠 I will be honest... the food was alarmingly terrible. I wish I were exaggerating, or had a better experience to write about. 👍👍 A wonderful family restaurant to be in Baguio. About a 15-minute drive from the city center, Lemon and Olives specializes in Greek cuisine. Due to its popularity, waiting in line is common. 🫤 What would have been a pleasant family gathering to celebrate my niece's recognition ceremony turned sour at Grumpy Joe. Their waiting staff aren't nice or accommodating. They're all a bit stand-offish, it's like they resent you for being there and hope that if they just ignore you, you'll go away....
