Mother's Day 2019 so were expecting crowds.in most restos. Tried this resto out since it was near us and I did see delicious looking posts from folks who have been here. For our 630 dinner, we made reservations, ordered and paid as early as 3 pm. We were told food would be ready by then. Upon arrival, the guard ushered us in and were seated immediately, despite the long line at the waiting area outside. We were immediately told that our seafood platter was not available since they ran out of crabs. Told them to replace the item with something else and retain the original order. They could've texted us since they got the hubby's number earlier. Instead, we had to wait an extra 40 minutes total for our food to be served. Crabs were replaced by one rellenong bangus. We also ordered the gaboodle meat lover. This was supposed to have lechon kawali, dinakdakan, sisig, chopsuey, pancit, bbq chicken, rice and pigar pigar. The latter was replaced by fish lumpia. Food was mediocre to great, depending on the dish. Given today's crowd, I figured the staff was tired. They all remained pleasant to us though. Inventory mgmt was an issue today as they ran out of key menu items. Their substitution of items was not fair in terms of what you paid for. Food is mid price to pricey depending on the menu item. Should you get the boodle meals, you get more rice than viands, so you're really not getting value for your money. Presentation was so so. Given the crowd,.place was noisy. The heavy, chunky chairs were noise contributors too. Tables were too narrow for their platters and diner's plates to fit together. The condiments area looked like it had been robbed. There were flies and mosquitoes too while we were eating. A good bug lamp (or 5) is needed. I enjoyed my meal because a. Some of the food items were delish and b. I was with people I love. Would we come back? Probably not. Considering the fact that it was a crazy day to be a part of their staff, this review took into consideration that it really was a busy day. That being said, what if the service and menu items were like this on regular days too? Not coming back to find out.

Food is great. Lots of servers. Price is good. Nice cozy atmosphere too.

Celebrating our student's birthday, Hans Leovik Calado. Not what I expect for their boodles but it was a great experience.

Good service ... good serving. Not so good - Hickory Ribs, overcooked & slightly burnt.

Ordered boodle mix, food taste is OK. I only enjoyed the vegetable served with it, all other servings - nothing remarkable.

The servings is great and within budget. We ordered their best seller, good for 5-6 people and we are only 4. We have to take out the left over. The chicken is good.

1st time to experience the boodle fight at Rubia Resto, can't get enough of the yummy foods ..😋😋😋

Value for money! Love the ambiance, perfect for friends and families. You must try their gaboodle feast.. fried lumpia with salsa sauce and pancit canton - simple dishes but super delicious .. By far the best I've ever tasted 😊. We'll be back for sure!
