Stupid services; this restaurant has no class. Most of all its a not friendly customer service. Their employees are not respectful and not very helpful. I hope this restaurant will not expand it’s very toxic. I am deeply disappointed with SIZZLING PLATE BAGUIO. I had heard good things about the restaurant, but my experience was nothing short of a disaster. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Here are some specific examples of the problems I encountered: - The hostess was rude and dismissive. - The waiter was inattentive and unhelpful. - The food was cold and unappetizing. - The other patrons were also unhappy with the restaurant. I hope that THIS RESTAURANT will take my feedback seriously and make some changes to improve its service and food quality. Until then, I will not be returning to the restaurant.

Ordered the Australian porterhouse for less than ₱400. Found it difficult to cut and even chew. Their yellow rice was just plain colored rice. Their gravy was good enough though. The staff members were attentive to my needs which kind of lessened my overall dislike. For fairness' sake, maybe they have other items on the menu that are better like sisig.

One of the original must-visit restaurants in Baguio. I’ve been here several times already. It is located at the heart of Session Road. It is an old school steakhouse that serves steaks on black iron plates. I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy pouring the gravy and watch the steak sizzle. Their house blend iced tea is a must try! I’m giving it a four-star rating because their some of their staff are not attentive but they are nice and approachable.

The good ol' resto I always go for sizzling meat. Friendly and helpful staff, fast service at a very reasonable price! You always see the happy face or the famous 'Baguio Smile' of the food servers.

We came here with friends on Christmas week, there was a line but it was moving and not a long wait, the ribeye is a little bit tough and chewy, we also ordered bbq, sisig, porterhouse and t bone. Price ₱₱

Great food served in sizzling platters. 🥰 We tried their Porterhouse (medium rare) and T bone steak (well done). It was cooked with care. Worth every peso.👌 Check their menu. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

The “ribeye” steak was very thin, chewy and tough. I should have been forewarned by their steak prices. No wonder the restaurant was almost empty of customers at lunchtime. While the neighboring restaurants have lines out the door. The tables and chairs felt sticky and not clean.

Wanted to finally try Sizzling Plate along Session Road after all these years - and al fresco dining when they close Session Road on Sundays. Unfortunately, I couldn't account for the panhandlers (ie begging) that literally come up to your table, and that management requires you to pay upfront inside ( cash or gcash only). Spoiled the entire al fresco dining along Session Road for me. Having said all that, it was a decent meal for me but I ain't doin' it again.

Good sizzling dishes. Quantity is small but I would say it's enough considering it's meaty and full of cholesterol. Rice served is too oily, probably just stir fried in oil from steaks. Soup is light and tasty. Must try Green Mango shake with vanilla ice-cream.

The food we ordered was good but not exceptional. Their chicken steak and barbecue are tender enough. I'm not a fan of their java rice. They could use a little improvement in the ventilation of the place, considering that they offer sizzling dishes. Food was served quite fast, even with a lot of customers flocking at once.

Usually, the service is average. But I ate out with my brother today, and the service was bad. The staff were not accommodating. We waited about 20 mins. just to order food. The good thing at least is that they served the soup and water right away.

Place was clean and service was good. We visited this restaurant because of their steak but unfortunately they had a very limited menu without any steak probably due to the high demand of the holidays.

Very cozy place. Good place to eat where you go to Baguio. Place is very spacious. Staffs are courteous and attentive. Highly recommended!

You always have to get the double porkchop with extra rice, and pour gravy over that. But of course there's also the Sans Rival that we usually order for takeout. Seriously though, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, all reasonably priced with ample servings. Service was great, but there tends to be a line which is why there are chairs outside. Be prepared to smell like grilled meat because the sizzling dishes come out piping hot and really sizzle when you pour your gravy on the meat.

We order t-bone steak medium and they served very welldone, half of the meat is beef fats. It was very hard to chew.

I ordered the Tbone steak the piece of meat was pure grisel impossible to cut or eat. Gave it to my dog she would even eat it. I am 71 years old and have some bad meals but take top prize for the worst ever.

My father is a PWD and he ordered food from sizzling plate session road baguio city. He ordered t-bone steak and was served australian t-bone steak for 384 pesos instead. He was so dissappointed that the food was pricey but not worth it. The meat was like super hard to chew and its only a small portion like a porkchop that you can eat from eateries. Also the sides was not cooked well. Its tasteless and it has small portions as well. We've been eating at sizzling plate otek rd i guess but that chain has better serving and taste. Also why no discount for PWD and senior. And even they didnt use better take away plates that plate is used from street foods corner around baguio. This is sizzling plate why not serve good quality and quantity. This restaurant sucks. Or the employees maybe. Also the yellow rice sucks!

The steak was good , a tad bit oily though so it might sog up your fries and veggies if you leave it for too long. Attentive and courteous staff. We dined earlier than the lunch rush so the atmosphere was still very pleasing despite the cramped space. I recommend this place if you want some relatively bang for the buck steak.

Remember to sharp your teeth before go here to eat. Everyone look funny with their uncooked well steak the taste is worse than the popular eateries in manila

Food was a disappointment. I left a third of my Australian porterhouse bec of too much tendons. Siomai came more than half way thru the steak - wrapper loose and seemed too sweet (but it may be their style) . No fruit shakes available over lunch. Service/waiter was excellent/friendly.

I like the fact that there are still places that serves good food during this time of pandemic. Good food is the only thing we have and can enjoy in this chaotic world. Thus I personally find this place one of the places where you can get good food without breaking your wallet. I mean, we live in this time where practicality is best. And where budget is scarce, you really need to be wise when looking for a place to eat. Practically speaking if one is concerned with eating and budget, we default to cooking our own meals. But this place can showcase us that kind of guarantee, a practical choice for a budget friendly meal but with class and great taste! Hope you continue the good work you show to your customers! Kudos to all the staffs and owners of this lovely restaurant! Happy new year! 😊🔥🎁🎊🎈 Ill be back, thats for sure! Chao!

It was a little hot because there was no air conditioner inside, and the meat I ordered was a little steamed. But I had a fun meal where I could feel the Philippine culture.

One of the better steak joints I've found in the Philippines, though I stick with the Australian beef T-bone or porterhouse. Though cut thin they have great flavor and are typically served with potatoes, green beans, and a brown gravy that's pretty tasty!

Bang for the buck steaks. Always a must stop in Baguio. So much snobby other reviews here but what do you expect from a P500 pesos steak. The sansrival is really good as well.

worst experience. Waiter is so rude and non accommodating, food are not that good, proportions are not worth the money, taste either ordinary or not good at all, the place is meh, ok. They dont flow instructions for the order that they recommended. will recommend to other? no, will be back, hopefully not.

👍👍 Ate here everyday that we were in Baguio because we love the home-cooked style. Plus the price is definitely a great selling point Highly recommend their chicken (tastes good even without any sauce) and their cinnamon twists (100 times better than Starbucks' cinnamon roll). 👍👍 Famous for their Cream Puffs, but was not available. We had Sinigang which was really good and their buttered chicken which was okay. Service was amazing, there was a 'bot' serving the food and the service crew are always available to help. Great way to start your Baguio vacation

🫤 What would have been a pleasant family gathering to celebrate my niece's recognition ceremony turned sour at Grumpy Joe. Their waiting staff aren't nice or accommodating. They're all a bit stand-offish, it's like they resent you for being there and hope that if they just ignore you, you'll go away....
