Very nice museum. I enjoyed seeing arts plus a good view of a hill and trees in one of the veranda of the museum. If you're already hungry, you can order a snack at their Cafe Isabel located at the ground floor of the building.

We bought an entrance ticket for 150pesos each. If you are fond of paintings, you can enjoy this place. If you want to eat in the restaurant inside the museum, make sure to bring enough money because 1 meal cost around 200pesos. When I asked the cashier how much is the bottled water, she didn't answer me. That's why I gave 4 stars😅 By the way, the bottled water cost 60pesos each😁

Went here on November 2023 when they had a themed display in one of the rooms. It’s an interesting site to visit in Baguio, especially if you’re into art and quiet spaces. They also have a cafe inside where you can see a majestic view of the garden. It’s somehow difficult to get a taxi cab from the place, so hiring a driver would be best.

Really glad to have finally visited this place. I wouldn't wonder why sir Ben Cabrera is a National Artist. His works are magnificent and his taste on art is impeccable. Really glad the place has expanded so you get to enjoy and appreciate different types and media of art. Totally worth the time and effort.

BenCab Museum is a great place especially for art lovers like me. It houses several galleries of different artists and exhibits and a nice place for venue shows. It also has a nice café and beautiful farm and garden below the premises. • Parking Space: Ample • Staff: Super Friendly and Nice • General Admission: ₱150 They are open Tuesdays to Sundays at 9AM to 6PM. Last entry for the museum is at 5:30 PM. PS: Make sure not to touch the artworks! 🙂

Great place for art lovers and for nature lovers! There's an entrance fee but it is worth it. The museum has a large backyard with a view of the trees and a mini pond with fish and ducks. There's a cafe on the lower ground with refreshing and hot drinks.

If you are into art or just want to take artsy or hashtag cultured photos. You must visit Bencab! For only 150pesos you can enjoy various paintings from BenCab himself and other local artists. After touring around the museum and immersing yourself in art. You can take a seat on their café and order a food. The food tastes so good!! Actually, no restaurant or cafe failed me in Baguio!

A must place to visit when in Baguio. Its 30 minutes away from the city, so if you're commuting or via taxi its better to have the taxi wait for you as its not easy getting a ride back. Very nice place. Lots of stuff about culture, especially the wood carvings and statues. There are a wide variety of paintings and pictures too. And there's a cafe at the lowest floor where you can also access the park at the back. Its a very nice place to relax and feel nature as the place is surrounded by trees and mountains.

It was a nice trip! Too far from the town proper but definitely worth a visit. The place is so serene and peaceful. Entrance fee is at Php200 ($4). Just make sure to visit the place during weekdays to avoid crowd. You may take pictures but no flash and video filming is not allowed.

A must-see when visiting Baguio City. It’s a bit far from the city proper but it is worth it. The museum features various artworks by BenCab and other local artists as well as cultural artifacts of the Cordillera region. The museum also offers an Eco-trail experience (for a separate fee). They also have a café. As an art enthusiast, I definitely enjoyed my visit here. ❤️

The place is really a gem. Great contemporary local art and indigenous craft. For art lovers a must visit, some interesting works by Filipino artists covering many different styles. Showcasing beautiful and amazing art pieces. Also, the outdoor landscape is so beautiful...

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount and the quality of artwork in this art museum. I expected much less given its location and rather uninteresting facade, but it housed a wide selection of great artwork. It has a cafe on the first floor and a nice garden outside for you to enjoy after taking a tour of the museum. The only downside is its distance from downtown. I'd definitely recommend visiting this museum if you're planning on staying in Baguio for a week.

Must see when in Baguio for those in the art scene. They also have good cafe restaurant. Allocate a full day to tour the place and enjoy the experience the artist has brought to his guests.

It's a good museum, they mostly have pieces of Ifugao sculptures and of course, BenCab's art pieces as well. They also have modern art category in there - I saw Yeokka's work. It's a 4-storey bldg, the ground floor is the cafe. You should come here extra early because people line up after 10am (they open at 9am). They have this spot (terraces with view) that I love and I wish i could just stay there lol. Downside, they don't have elevators (for pwd accessibility). Overall, the art pieces are amazing and it was a great experience.

The museum is a bit far from the city proper. We paid 200 pesos for entrance. They also have a restaurant cafe inside. There's an outdoor space with pond and bridge. I enjoyed the artworks and it's peaceful ambience. Definitely a must visit when in Baguio.

This place is awesome. The main highlight of my Baguio trip. It features tributes to the work and life of the National Artist Benedicto Cabrera as well as highlights the history of his art. Also displayed are relics from the natives of the area. You can spend hours immersed in it all and afterwards relax and recharge at the cafe and garden at the lower deck. A bit pricey but of course taking it all in with the view makes every bite worth it. Had pares, bulalo, and basil pasta. Will definitely come back the next time we visit Baguio.

Went here Feb 2024 Art display 4/5 They have a good amount of art collection. Hopefully, there will be more art/activities since the entrance fee alone is 200 php/pax Saw in the poster ---you may opt for a short hike (150php tour guide fee) but we were not prepared on our first (so far) visit. One visit would be enough unless there are special art fair/event? Garden - 4.5/5 they have a koi pond with ducks as well Location - 4.5/5 few mins drive from the city, has ample parking space (along the road) Cafe - did not try

Huge museum with varying arts not only from Bencab himself, however some arts for me just felt out of place, I am no critic but some arts feel way less interesting compare to others. The museum also provides a cafe and places to take picture of with amazing views, would recommend to come and visit if you're going to Baguio even the food are also great and tasty.

It was my first time to visit Ben Cab Museum. We paid 200 pesos per person. We also tried their cafe. The Spicy Dried Tuyo pasta was superb. I asked what is their best seller and the barista suggested this pasta and it was really nice and good serving to have my stomach full. The museum is really nice. There were different arts displayed, from paintings to artifacts and woodworks. It also has a breathtaking view of the mountain. I would suggest to visit here after lunch so that you can experience the same ambiance we had. Ben was also there and my friend had a photo with him. Such a delightful visit!

One of the highlights of our Baguio Trip. It was raining when we arrived but it was no problem at all! The vibe can't be ruined by anything. It was a total treat for the mind and soul. Especially when you go to the top floor veranda and have a glimpse of the mountain view. I mean, swooshing, raindrops, cool weather, birds. Soul fest indeed! 😌 Jeepney rides are available going to and from the city proper, although not that frequent, but we were lucky that time. Entrance fee at the museum is around ₱200 ($3-4) only.

Go during the opening hours … less people and you can enjoy looking at the paintings and sculptures. Take time to look at the indigenous artifacts. Look for “Sabel” as one of inspiration of BenCab. The garden showcases many local trees and the pond was peaceful and relaxing. This was a wonderful experience that was opposite of hustle of downtown Baguio.

A bit far from Baguio city but it's worth visiting if you're interested in arts or just want to take a quick break from the city. The works that on the exhibit were interesting especially the tools of the natives. Just be sure to be there early if you want to avoid the crowd especially on holidays. And also a bit pricey on the food.

It is a good experience. There are many arts. This museum has a good restaurant and garden. They have visitors be refreshed. But when you leave there you know getting a taxi is so difficult.

Nice ambiance and since we came on a rainy day it was cozy and not crowded. There was a cafe too that serves hot coffee and cold drinks. A great place to appreciate nature, art and peacefulness.

I can say that Bencab’s Museum is one of the best place to visit when you are in Baguio City. Not just a museum, it also has a huge garden. You can really appreciate nature when you sre in their garden. In addition, Bencab’s Museum has a resto inside where you can dine in while enjoying the very nice view of the garden. This place is highly recommended to those who will visit Baguio City. A must-visit one.

I'm a lover of art so this place is very close to my heart. The place is spacious and very ideal for long-staring contest with the pieces that adorned the walls of the place. I love that it has an outdoor garden as well as a Koi pond.

One of the best tourist site in Baguio! It is WORTH IT! Either you're an art lover or not, you'll like it here. The view were perfect as well. Though the location were a bit far from the city, it is perfect once you saw the view outside the Museum. There's also a cafe at the ground floor with awesome food and VERY FAST service! Will definitely coming back.

  • 5/5 Manny C. 2 years ago on Google
Much more than a showcase of the artist's work and his collection of artifacts from the region. It's a sanctuary and nature park that visitors to Baguio should not miss.

  • 5/5 Hanna Jane M. 8 months ago on Google • 12 reviews
The museum was far from the city. But its location is nice; it has a beautiful and relaxing view. There is no need to purchase a ticket in advance. There is also a cafe and a pond, which add to relaxation. If you love Benedicto Cabrera's art or are a fan of him, then you must visit his museum. I was just wondering where Mysterious Women painting is.😅

Visiting the museum after a decade and there were a lot of changes. It has expand and more arts are showcased. Rain or shine this place gives the vibes you are looking for. It's worth a visit when you're in Baguio.

This art museum showcases a captivating collection of BenCab's and other Filipino artists' works. Moreover, the fancy café on the ground floor adds to the overall experience, allowing visitors to appreciate the scenery while savoring a delightful refreshment. A must-visit for art aficionados and anyone seeking cultural enrichment.

  • 5/5 Gerald S. 6 months ago on Google
This museum is a must-visit and an excellent place to spend an entire afternoon. It’s quite far from the central part of Baguio so easiest to take a taxi directly; going home, there are plenty of jeeps passing in front of the museum that go back near Burnham Park. The museum boasts myriad exhibits ranging from various indigenous artworks to a wide selection of contemporary pieces from BenCab and other esteemed artists. The café as well as the nearby pond are fine places to relax for an hour or two while quietly admiring the view. Only issue would be the absence of mobility options for PWDs for going up and down floors so just a heads up.

The creative spirit that fills the space is truly remarkable. Whether you're an art connoisseur or simply looking to explore the world of art, the BenCab Museum is a place that promises to leave a lasting impression.

Definitely a must see in Baguio. Sharing some photos, but the real artworks are much more awe inspiring. It’s 4 floors below with a coffee shop at the bottom. If the skies are clear, there’s a scenic view to match the coffee. The tour is arranged so that you get through all the artworks and talk about it after with coffee. There are feature artists from time to time so there’s reason to come back and appreciate new art.

Amazing view for picture taking around the edge of the mountain. Lots of beautiful art to look at and ponder. Reasonable price of 150 pesos per person as this review is made. $3.50 CAD. Spent a couple hours there including eating at the Cafe. I had the fish and it was tasty. There's 4 floors included with various art and a little pond with ducks outside.

Lovely museum in stunning grounds, definitely worth visiting if you're in Baguio. All of the art on display, by local artists, is excellent and the space itself is very nice. 150 entrance per adult. There is a cafe on the ground floor and a koi pond and seating area outside. The grounds of the property are huge and very beautiful - you can do an eco tour for an extra 150 per person to explore the grounds.

Amazing museum on the outskirts of Baguio City. Extensive collection of beautiful cultural artifacts. The view cannot be understated as well. 10/10, wouod recommend.

  • 5/5 Reyn B. 8 months ago on Google
Beautiful museum featuring works of BenCab and other artists. It also features a beautiful pond garden with amazing mountain views. I feel like the BenCab Museum and gardens was inspired by Fondation Monet in Giverny. BenCab Museum is like 20 mins from city center and transpo (taxi) is difficult to get from the museum. Would be good if you can ask for the taxi to wait for you.

  • 5/5 RDLising T. 3 years ago on Google
Well, this place is a must see spot when you are exploring Baguio specially when you do love artworks. They also have a cafe for a small bite and some refreshers. You may also be amaze with the scenery and calmness of the landscape.

It looks so good inside the museum. Taking videos and pictures with flash is not allowed though. It's also hard to get a taxi/grab there so I recommend that you bring your own car.

  • 5/5 JOHN N. 9 months ago on Google
I'm not really a fan of museums but I went here because of my friends. Entrance fee, at the time that we went, July 2023, was at Php 200. The price drops at Php 150 if you are eligible to the mandatory discount for senior citizens and PWDs (I'm not sure if student discount is included, sorry.). I enjoyed my stay because of the nature and view at the back. They have a balcony at the back and they also have a restaurant there, Cafe Sabel, if I remember correctly. If you're a museum type of person, you will surely enjoy your stay here. My friends enjoyed it! I hope you do too! Thanks! Btw, we went here on a weekday, there's no queue at all. Also, if you don't have a car, there's a jeep that waits for passengers outside the museum that can take you in front of Baguio City's City Hall.

  • 5/5 Julius Ryan U. 1 year ago on Google
A trip to Baguio will never be complete without going to this museum. I get that most of the artwork on display are still the same year-in, year-out, save for a gallery that’s being updated based on who’s exhibiting. But the sheer pull of BenCab himself, as well as the art he made of the place, with the museum building and then the garden and the ponds, and even the cafe, makes a pilgrimage to it worth it every time.

  • 5/5 Reyn R. 2 years ago on Google
Good for the artsy. Good for the gram! 📷 Good food at Cafe Sabel! A bit pricy but worth it! Try their baby back ribs & volcano ice cream for the dessert. 🍦

2023.06.04 Tickets are only 120 peso with a student ID. Lots of beautiful artwork and beautiful scenery too. You can also try the coffee, it's not bad.

Great museum, but far from Baguio center. Don't attempt to go here if you don't have a car. Even if you book a taxi to get there, you'll have a difficult time booking one back from bencab. The receptionist will also say that you can take a 5min walk to a jeep terminal but it's probably longer than that.
