Come to Mines View Observation Deck to breathe and relax away from work! My friends and I went here very early to watch the sunrise. I managed to get few snaps of the place as it was jam packed with tourists from other parts of the Philippines. On a hindsight, it is always like this whenever I come to Baguio. This place never run out of tourists. And one do understand why... Had I happen to live near here, I'd also frequent this site. We no longer took pictures with the horses nor with igorot costumes on and whatever there are. We just wandered the Mines View Park to appreciate what's in there and buy food and clothing to bring home as souvenir to our love ones. We had our breakfast just outside the Park where a canteen offers inexpensive but satisfying food nonetheless while waiting for the Good Shepherd Convent to open because we'd buy their products like the famous ube jam. In the years to come and given the chance to come again to Baguio, I would still come to Mines View Park and do what I did. Visit the Park if you can! It's worth your time and energy.

Who would want to miss the Mines View Deck in Baguio City? I think most tourists visiting Baguio would not miss out this spot on their itinerary. You also get to taste the local delicacies & Filipino street foods here.

There's a pretty view of the valley from here. There are a few photo ops with people and costumes or sitting on horses also. Several vendors are selling souvenirs and street food.

I went on a weekend and it was overcrowded!!! Barely any space to move! Overcrowded just to see the views. You can buy souvenirs and food there. I got the 🌽 and it was yummy. The bathroom was clean though when I went. The ticket fee isn't pricey at all, but no parking unless you go early.

Beautiful top of the world view of whole of Baguio. The day was sunny and beautiful and the picturesque scenery was truly breath-taking. You get lots of strawberry juice and shakes here too. You can also wear ethnic tribal clothes and take pictures

As a typical tourist attraction in Baguio, it keeps on improving every time I visit. Now, they had some flower shops on the alley way walking to the viewing point. The dogs and the horses photo op is still there. Expect a lot of visitors anytime which is good for Baguio tourism I guess.

Always a nice place to get a view of Baguio. My friend told me to go here on sunrise but I wasn't able to. Nice place to buy plants and souvenir as well. The sellers that we talked to were all nice.

This is one of those top tourist must visit places, prbl in the whole world. Amazing view, and there are a lot of stands selling food items and trinkets. It was very busy on the sunday we decided to visit, the traffic was pretty bad, but its easy to get around on foot.

The view is magnificent where you can see the horizons of Baguio and Alphaland country Club is visible from Mines View. Compare to my last visit before pandemic, they already have an entrance fee of Php10.00. Several renovations has been done and the comfort rooms was improved. There are more Tiangge’s where you can buy Pasalubongs and Souvenirs. HorseBack photo ops starts at Php50.00 Traditional Clothing photo ops starts at Php100.00 A picture with the St. Bernard dog is Php100.00 You will still get the same classic feeling of Mines View Park! Follow me for more review critics!

So fun! Love the view and outfits you can rent. Just one thing, the food inside the park is way too expensive.

There are many other good places you can visit on the ways most stunning views will see on road side if you are going by your own vehicle. This just a small place where from you can see one mountain that's all I didn't find anything interesting there. If you are going to botenical garden then Mines View is 3km from there

A classic Baguio tourist spot. It is a reminder of Benguet as a mining town. Parking can be challenging especially on the weekends. You only have to pay a minimal environmental fee to enter, which was 10 pesos as of July 2023. There’s a lot of food stalls and souvenir shops in the area. If you fancy riding a pink horse, you may do that here too.

Gives a nice view of the mountains. Can get too crowded though, since tourists are not limited even in this time of the pandemic. Nice place to buy plants or get a quick bite too.

Very beautiful place. Make sure to have grippy shoes, because it is easy to fall here. For those with weak knees, bring a walking stick as some steps are steep.

Great view of the mountain range. Unfortunately some are covered by houses, unlike before when Baguio was not that crowded. Lots of souvenirs to buy. They even sell a variety of plants in the area.

Been going back and forth with family since my childhood. There has been improvement after few decades. Now its more organized and clean. Before it was so disorganized and hard to go to the mines view bec of alot of shantees. But now it has a dirdct path and clean pathway towards the mines view point. Thought there is now a 10 pesos entrance fee per adult. Parking can be done nearby public market

One of the best place to go to when you are in Baguio City. It has a very picturesque view of the mountains. You will be in awe when you get to be at the viewing deck. There are also horse back riding picture taking area, many flowers and fruit stalls and a bunch of pasalubong centers. Their restrooms are also well maintained. It's clean. You have to pay P8 pesos for the maintenance of the restrooms.

Last visit here was more than decade ago, and it has improved a lot: much cleaner, wider and clearer path ways, more organized/orderly sections now compared to before. It might be the case for us as we visited during weekday morning (~10am) so there wasn't much of a crowd and parking was not a problem.

Breathtaking views. Refreshing. The entrance is only 10pesos each head. There is some horses that you can set on and take a photo which is I didn't do cuz I feel sad to the horse. They also not look happy. Lots of flowers for sale in affordable price. Perfect for sunrise and sunset viewing.

Pretty much the same view you can get from any high point in Baguio. There are a few decent places to grab a quick snack and personally I like the little souvenir shops. Also I went with a couple of local friends which made it a whole lot more interesting and pleasant.

The place was a bit crowded when we went there. Nothing special and just the observation deck with a bit steep stairs. Would recommend to go to Good Shepherd after here.

There are several restaurants and souvenir shops along the street just outside the entrance to the park. Upon entering one must traverse a narrow downward path with a couple different routes, through a lively marketplace of vendors selling ornamental and small fruit producing plants, herbs and other such items. The view from the observation deck is spectacular; it is exactly the unfettered view of Baguio one is persistently trying to attain when traveling in and around the city.

The car parking is free but very limited, parking attendant will assist you. You can also park on private places nearby but you will be ask to pay 100 pesos. 10peso entrance fee for the park. Great view, a lot of souvenir/pasalubong shop and you can rent an igorot outfit for 50pesos.

The scenery is so nice and good to the eyes. The entrance is only 10 pesos and you can enjoy a spectacular view of Baguio. There sre also different stores inside. A custome rental and photo with the horses.

A must visit during summer, so you can see the entire view. We went on a foggy day. Entrance is PHP.10 , picture taking with st Bernard dog is Around 100-200 (group) solo is Php 50, and with the pink cute horse is Php 50.

Favorite spots to visit in Baguio, with the majestic view of the mountain ranges. Don't miss their famous strawberry taho. You can also buy pasalubong in this place..

Quite a serene place to visit if you come early in the morning. It gets cold up there, so if you're not used to cold weather, bring a sweater or jacket. It is a good place to take pictures, esp. when the fog is out. The staircases going up and coming down from the view deck get slippery when wet, so be careful. You'll pass by the souvenir and plant stores / booths on your way up to the view deck, but you can always shop on your way down. You can also take pictures with the St. Bernard (woof, woof) with pay and if hungry, restaurants are available outside Mines View, where the parking areas are at. More Souvenir stores can be located outside as well. PLS. DO NOT LITTER. Bring your trash at home.

While the Mines View Park has beautiful scenery of mountains and nature, it also overlooks Itogon's abandoned mines, also known as the Balatoc Mines. Mines outlook Park's observation platform has become a favorite spot for taking shots of Baguio's surroundings due to its spectacular views.

Great view! Went here on a foggy day but we still got a view. You can buy souvenirs and pasalubongs here! 10PHP for environmental fee.

Mines View Observation Deck is indeed a breathtaking view. Despite the sun shining bright, it was only warm and not very hot. ☺️☺️👏 The parking area here is limited but the locals guide you to places where one can park. We parked right infront of a gated place to which they reassured us that it will be fine. It was not a paid parking but we provided tip.😊 There are also a lot of places to buy pasalubong around here. You may check out as you walk to outside.👏👏 .... ... ... ...

Visiting Mines View Observation Deck is a must for anyone traveling to Baguio. The breathtaking views and the opportunity to engage with the local culture are definite highlights. However, the crowds and pushy vendors can be a downside, so it's best to go early in the day to enjoy a more peaceful experience. Pros: Scenic Views: The main highlight of Mines View Observation Deck is, of course, the stunning panoramic view of the mining town of Itogon and the surrounding Cordillera mountains. The sight of the mining town nestled amidst the mountains is truly captivating and provides ample photo opportunities. Cultural Experience: Mines View is a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture. You can rent traditional Cordillera attire and have your photos taken in them, which adds a unique cultural dimension to your visit. Souvenir Shopping: The adjacent souvenir shops offer a wide variety of locally made handicrafts, jewelry, and other souvenirs. It's a good place to pick up gifts or keepsakes to remember your trip by. Food Options: There are stalls selling local snacks and refreshments, allowing you to enjoy some refreshments while taking in the view. Cons: Crowded and Commercialized: Mines View Observation Deck can get extremely crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons. The commercialization of the area can sometimes detract from the natural beauty of the place. Pushy Vendors: While the souvenir shops offer a diverse range of products, some vendors can be quite persistent and pushy, which can be off-putting for visitors who prefer a more relaxed shopping experience. Limited Parking: Finding parking nearby can be a challenge, especially during busy times, which can be frustrating for those traveling by car. Limited Amenities: The observation deck lacks modern amenities, such as restroom facilities, so visitors should plan accordingly.

Pretty cool looking place. The deck is not big. If it's your first time in baguio, you must go here fist before everything else, because this place is has great view but there are better places. So to not ruin the expectations GO HERE FIRST. You're not gonna regret it.

Mines View Park is an overlook park on the northeastern outskirts of Baguio in the Philippines. It is five kilometers away from the Heart of Baguio, passing through the Botanical Garden, the Mansion House, Wright Park, and the Pacdal Circle.

Jampacked.People crowd on the lone promontory stand where one can have his/her selfie against the mines' view and the still breathtaking Cordillera range below. We just had our souvenir shots in the entrance studios for mementos, and departed quickly, for our health.

They are now able to regulate the number of tourists visiting. Parking is still a bit of a challenge. You would have to park somewhere between mines view hotel.

  • 4/5 Kyle Aldred T. 2 years ago on Google
The view was breathtaking and i found many first-time experiences here such as first time riding a horse, seeing a huge dog, and wearing an indigenous attire of the Igorots. There are also so many good plants being sold in the area which are just refreshing to see.

  • 3/5 Rohan M. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely views from this observation deck if the weather is good, although there are a lot of steps to climb up and down in order to get there, so it would be difficult for those who find it hard to climb. It was very empty due to the pandemic which made it a better experience, but there are a lot of vendors there for tourists are also some horses (sadly with their manes dyed bright pink) waiting for photo opportunities.

  • 3/5 Bruno K. 10 months ago on Google
I find this place overrated, the view of the countryside from the observation deck is nice but not spectacular and that's it. The rest are souvenirs, strawberries, flowers, local garments and jewelry, and standard food offerings. It was crowded, so the experience was less enjoyable.

  • 4/5 Armando R. 2 years ago on Google
Great view and less crowded during pandemic. I recommend visiting during afternoon for picturesque sunset or morning for a more relaxing view of the mountains.

Beautiful view. The weather is cool when we went there in the morning. You can also buy plants and if you plan to have breakfast, make sure to check out Shogu Yami - their foods are inexpensive but delicious.

  • 5/5 Anjanette B. 2 years ago on Google
As usual. You’ve got a nice view here if the weather permits you because sometimes the fog eats the view. Never the less it’s so relaxing and there are stalls where you can buy your pasalubongs as well. You just have to pay a small amount for you to enter the place but it’s worth it.

  • 4/5 Samuel Jason S. 2 years ago on Google
The view on a clear sunny day was absolutely stunning. It's so crazy how the mountains of Benguet look like that for miles and miles. The deck itself wasn't big but just enough for everyone to see the view and have their photos. The visitors area where the shops were offered many pasalubong options

  • 5/5 Rio B. 1 year ago on Google
It is a great place to visit with family amazing view with fog and lots of shops to buy goodies for pasalubong. But sometimes you have to move a bit far away from the entrance if you wanna buy some stuff, as the shops located in front of the entrance are a bit pricey compared to the right or left side shops.

  • 5/5 Erica M. 1 year ago on Google
Great place to visit. Don't forget it to your itinerary. However, sometimes it's too crowded that it's hard to get decent photos of yours because there are a lot of people especially during weekends. Luckily I was able to get these photos. Love the scenery.

  • 5/5 Charles Rey “diomampocharles” D. 1 year ago on Google
The view was stunning. People liked lining up for picture taking dressed like the one on my image and they are enjoying how beautiful the nature is. The warm sun didn’t bother us because we feel the warmth as a relief from the city life we had. Baguio has a place in our heart and we will be back again.

  • 5/5 John F. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful and clean place. The view is breath-taking. Rest room, souvenir shops, ifugao traditional clothes rental, and many more activities to do.

  • 5/5 John Carlo C. 1 year ago on Google
Expect this place to be packed. A lot of local tourists take turns capturing their photos. Bring some extra money. A lot of goods and foods are quite pricey, especially the strawberry taho. You can purchase rare plants and herbs as well. Overall, I advise that you go to Baguio in early February before the summer even starts.

  • 5/5 Carl T. 9 months ago on Google
Gorgeous view! The crowd here had a great vibe. The traditional clothing was amazing. There were so many proud faces. The kids were so cute.
