The place is so clean and it was lovely walking around the place. You just have to obey the rules inside. Sandals, sando, shorts and slippers are not allowed entry.

This place is a good place to visit for children, adults, and schools who want to do an educational tour. You will see a lot about the history of how the PMA was established, and you will know a lot more about the PMA when you go there. It is also a good place to visit for those who dream like me to study, become a cadet, graduate from the military academy, and become a good leader of the AFP.

It's good to visit the camp during Sunday specially when there's an event in the morning. Please bring your vax card copy and wear closed shoes and no sleeveless allowed.

If you are a foreign tourist, be sure to bring your passport, vaccination certificate and mask (without this you will not be allowed to enter the territory). The territory is very pleasant, clean, you can safely walk from the gate.

The Philippine Military Academy, nestled amidst lush mountain vistas, breathes the valor of heroes who have marched through its hallowed halls. Here, dreams take flight, forged in discipline, honor, and a commitment to serve, shaping noble warriors who defend the nation's freedom.

date of visit: december 10, 2022 arrived at 11:45am & the guard still let us in even though PMA is open until 12 noon πŸ‘πŸΌ before entering the PMA grounds, you will be driving to the triage to check your vaccination cards β€” they dont allow visitors who are wearing flip flops so better wear closed shoes (wearing of shorts is ok πŸ‘πŸΌ) theres visitors parking just walking distance near the philippine military academy, you will also see there the planes & helicopters. theres also souvenir shops to purchase shirts, jackets etc. they only accept cash so make sure to have some but if not theres also a gcash cash out booth and a landbank atm πŸ‘πŸΌ you would also find the public comfort rooms near the souvenir shops (β‚±5 fee) β€” its much cleaner than the one near the academy. i recommend to have your own vehicle when exploring the grounds as the tourist spots are not that near to each other (except the PH-American memorial, and the tanks).

Finally, PMA is again open to the public! Make sure that you sign-up/register first through their portal, bisita.pma.edu.ph, prepare your valid ID and vaccination card/certificate, it's needed for the portal and to present to the guards before they let you in. There's a limit to how many they can accommodate per day so register ahead of your scheduled visit.

Did not visit due to time constraints. It is a Bagiio landmark and tours/visits are possible (bring passport, dress appropriately - no shorts or sandals). We look forward to visiting sometime!

Growing up and studying in a historical place like PMA are the best memories of my childhood. My father was in the military so I am very familiar with every corner of the academy, I used to go with my father especially during his night shift duty where he used to guard down the armory or simply visit during office hours at their headquarters. Every weekend, we also used to watch cadets performance ( silent drill) at Boroneo field after church, there are also some recreational activities such as bowling, billiards, darts, swimming, trampoline, firing range, monkey bars, obstacle courses and many more that are free to use especially for the dependents. PMA was not just an ordinary or simply an academy, before there were barracks / community where they house families of not just the officials but also some soldiers. Inside there are 2 churches for Catholic and Baptist, there are souvenir shops, commissary, tax free store, a hospital, dental infirmary, museums, amphitheater, ponds, fountains, parks, canteens, elementary and high schools, gym and courts, olympic size swimming pool, fields and playgrounds/ picnic grounds. Growing on this academy was very nostalgic.

I wanted to enter on my motorcycle and was told by a soldier at the gate that I had to wear a jacket with reflectors to enter. Why this is required in daylight (!!) is incomprehensible. In addition, the lights on my motorcycle are permanently on. Then a soldier came on a motorcycle in his field uniform. He was wearing a green camouflage vest. When I asked the soldier where his comrade's reflectors were, I was told that the green vest would reflect at night if it was illuminated with light. I then explained to the soldier that the motorcycle jacket I was wearing also had reflectors incorporated into it that reflected at night. But he didn't understand that and didn't let me drive in. I then said that I felt like a fool and had no interest in visiting the park because I didn't expect there to be any intelligent life in it. Annoyed, I drove away again.

We were just at the gate. Curfew is at 3pm. Better go in the morning if you want to look around inside.

The place is great, well guarded and very safe, starting from the gate up to the very inside of the school. The student are well disciplined and very well mannered, there are clean restrooms everywhere, the place is very neat and clean. The air are soothing and fresh all throughout the day. The place could be ideal for picnics since they had a park and benches under the fir trees, they had a lot of gazebo to rest rain or shine. There are lot of people inside that you could ask for whenever you need any questions. There are lots of great and nice spot for ideal selfies and groupies photoshots.
