The experience is very refreshing since I:m a tourist visiting Baguio for a day. You will learn a lot about the City's history and the tribes in the nearby areas. You will see how the city has evolved throughout the years. However, there is an entrance fee which is a bit pricey {Php 100}. Considering that national museums should be free or has minimal fee. If you decide to visit here, if you love history, you will enjoy it here.

A good museum for those who want to learn more about this place. The staff is very polite, the girl gave a short tour and told in detail about the history of the exhibits. The museum occupies three floors, but the main part is on the first floor. Each stand has all the necessary information and you can familiarise yourself with it. I recommend to visit

Getting to know Baguio's history before exploring its famous tourist spots. Baguio Museum is a place where you can learn about the cultural and historical heritage of Baguio City and the Cordillera region. The museum is located near the Lourdes Grotto and has a unique architecture that resembles a traditional Ifugao house. The museum has four floors, each with its own exhibits and displays. On the first floor, you can see a collection of artifacts and dioramas that showcase the life and traditions of the different tribes in the Cordillera region, such as the Benguet, Kalinga, Apayao, Mountain Province, Abra, and Ifugao. You can also see a real-life mummy in its coffin, which is a sacred practice among some of the tribes. On the second floor, you can see the history of Baguio City, from its discovery as a land of pine trees to its development as a summer capital and a tourist destination. You can also see some architectural models that show how Baguio changed over time, as well as some photos and clippings that document the events and personalities that shaped the city. On the third floor, you can see some special exhibits and events that feature various aspects of the culture and arts of Baguio and the Cordillera region. You can also see some paintings and sculptures by local artists, as well as some souvenirs and products that you can buy. On the fourth floor, you can see a panoramic view of the city and the mountains from the rooftop. You can also see some statues and monuments that honor the heroes and martyrs of Baguio and the Cordillera region. Baguio Museum is a must-visit place for anyone who wants to know more about the rich and diverse culture and history of Baguio and the Cordillera region. The museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the entrance fee is P50 for adults and P30 for students, PWDs and senior citizens. You can also find some hotels, restaurants, and shops near the museum, making it convenient for tourists.

For PhP100 entrance fee you can see the history and artifacts of the province. Located at the 1st floor are the artifacts. They grouped them according to Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Apayao, Benguet sections. You can see various tools, clothing, lifestyle and huts of the different regions. A mummy is also encased in glass at the corner. At the 2nd floor is the colorful history of Baguio. Famous people and landmarks, maps, WW2 to list of mayors. 3rd floor I presumed is a library since I saw tables and chairs with a handful of books in the shelf. At the lower ground of the building is an exhibit area of locals. This museum closes at 5pm.

It is an interesting place full of cultural history of the natives of Baguio. There are many interesting pieces which highlights ethno-practices, their weapons, houses, way of life and many interesting things. I am happy to experience such a wonderful fast track from the past and the lessons that it taught to the newer generation. I am very touch by their wonderful culture and the rich local life of the natives.

A great place to visit to know more about Baguio and indigenous people living here and nearby. Always awesome to know about their history, roots and culture. The place has plenty of arts to offer. You'll get a clear picture of their past and how they progress to present. There was plenty of foreign individual whom they respected as well. There's a shop inside where you can buy souvenirs too.

Some hidden gems of Baguio history. If you don't rush you need an hour. It says on Google that closure is 6pm, but last admission is 5pm. There are a number of pre-history artifacts, but I appreciated the exhibit detailing the recapture of the City from Japan in WW2.

The entrance fee is 100php for adults. It was interesting to see the different clothing style, old spheres and it's good to read about the history of Baguio.

Baguio Museum should definitely be one of your stopovers to gain more cultural knowledge not only about Baguio but of entire Cordillera Region. The only floor that was open when we visited was the main floor as it was being renovated but it was still a great experience. The floor features exhibits of the different places in the region in dioramas as well as important artifacts. We also chanced upon a wood artist carving an artwork just right outside the museum which added to the experience.

When my partner & I travel, we always wanted to check the local museum first after going to tourist locations. We walked from Burnham Lake to Baguio Museum. They're just near to each other, minus the iconic up & down road of Baguio haha. Strategically located in the city center, next to the University of Cordilleras, which is beside SM Baguio. We wandered around the area for 30mins to an hour. We enjoyed how informative & we're in awe of how rich the culture in this place.

Good stop worth 1-2hrs. Didn't know Baguio was such a melting pot of cultures. Would just suggest the museum to have either guided tours or a recommended self-guided path

It's a good place to know about local history. All the artifacts are displayed beautifully. You'll be shown a part of each of Cordillera's province's culture and history. The place is child-friendly, date-friendly, tourist friendly, everybody-friendly.

Nothing much to see tbh. It's a three story building with a basement and during the time that we went there the third floor was closed. First floor contains stuff from the tribes such as clothes and weapons. There's even a mummy in a coffin. Second floor is about Baguio's history when the Americans arrived and how the place was developed. Basement contains a souvenir shop and a small exhibit of local artists. For 40 pesos it's kinda expensive but at least you're helping them preserve the place.

I celebrated my bday last 2023, i met an Artist Mr. Ernesto in Baguio Museum. Baguio is not like before, the sorroundings is clean, no cars can park alongside. Igorot Stone kingdom was close at that time because of some issues said the locals. Hoping that Local Gov't. tighten the implementation of garbage disposal.

The second floor housing all facts about the provinces and tribes show exerted effort and creativity in presenting such rich information. The third and fourth floors, however, needs to presented in a way that will not bore its viewers (infos are text heavy and have poor lay-outs)

This place has a lot of interesting historical knowledge regarding Baguio City. The ones that caught my interest are the mummy and the scale maps of Baguio. Sad thing though that the place is not well lit. Some floors are undergoing reconstruction as well. Some items are not displayed properly too. Entrance is 40 per person. Students have discount I think or are free.

So I visited the museum today. There is an entrance fee, they offer discount for students, and seniors.

A visit to Baguio will not be complete without going to Baguio museum. Having spent many of my childhood years in Baguio, seeing the evolution of the city from what it was to what it is now, was fascinating. The staff have a comprehensive knowledge of the various facets of the history of the people of the Cordillera Administrative Region. The layout is open and inviting, and they hold a Kabayam mummy as well as artworks from prominent artists. Highly recommended!

Baguio Museum is a place to understand Baguio. It's a very informative place. Entrance fee is 80 pesos and for students at 60 pesos. Just bring I'd. Location is very near Sm and bus terminal . We started from Burnham then walked up to Museum and then walk up again to Sm and then go down to the bus terminal. A good exercise too.

As an Architecture students I enjoyed the paintings, sculptures, most especially the scaled model of the evolution of Baguio City. Young people should visit this kind of place rather than seeing only this in photos.

This is a 4-storey building. It contains a lot of artifacts from the the Mountain Province especially on the 2nd floor. Ground floor have some paintaings, 3rd floor is Baguio History and 4th floor is a mezzanine where you can read books and other periodicals.

The museum is filled with significant history of the cordilleran people, including my heritage. Every corner of the museum is filled with interesting information. Artifacts, Weapons, and Dioramas depicting certain scenarios is well made and pleasant to look at. Every fact is correctly shown in posters and writings beside the exhibits. Overall, I would recommend visiting this museum if you have an interest in the history of the Cordillera Administrative Region.
