I think some rewiewers confuse the Eco Trail with the Yellow Trail, which is well maintained. I visit both the same day. At the time of my visit, the Eco Trail looked like it had been diverted around a paintball site. The trail started okay, but soon became overgrown. One bridge was very unsafe and a plank snapped as I crossed. After about 15 minutes it was impossible to see any path and I chose to return the way I had come. In the 30 or so minutes spent there, I never saw anyone except at the paintball/zip-line site. Unlike the Yellow Trail which was busy. The track may be more accessible from the other end.

I wanted to rekindle our first date during our trip this year. However, the trail was no longer passable as it used to be. It seems that during the two-year pandemic made it impossible to maintain the path. There were so many tall grasses and bushes that made it impossible for us to go through it. I wish they would clear the path to encourage more walkers to enjoy the forest bath. 😁

only went there to sight see and have brunch. however there are a lot of things to do. from camping, paintball, ziplines, wall climbing, golfing and etc. the area is super big so its better if you have a service around though there are taxi's also available around the area.

A perfect place for forest bathing. If you walk this trail you'd feel like you're not in a city because the grassess are tall and you can hear birds chirping and other sounds from forest beings. There are a lot of "junctions" along the way so we just follow what our intuition's direction πŸ˜† It's fun when we walk this trail!!

It such a beautiful view and nice clean trail, short and just right distance if you’re up for a small hike. Not crowded and amazing view of pine trees, it resembles few forest park in Europe and the weather too. Good hike πŸ‘

I suggest trekking here during the early morning or late afternoon because the sunlight gives a dramatic view of the trail and wearing comfortable shoes because some parts of the trail are rough and muddy. It’s an excellent addition to the itinerary when visiting Baguio City for a breath of fresh air.

Our best hiking trail so far. OK for seniors, with generally flat trails with a few low grade paths.. About 4km long..

Nice restraunts although a bit pricey. Possibly the best spot in town. Camp grounds. Picnic area. Lot of fun things to do there.

300 per round up the trail. My kids loved it. Despite being a bit pricey.

One of the fun adventure things to do in camp John hay. There is a variety of things to do. Wall climbing, zip lining, paintball. The place is well maintained and the moderators know what they are doing. Give it a try. It’s more fun than it looks.

It was a basic trail but enjoyable we were the only ones who traversed the trail during the time. I love the atmosphere and the feel of the trail being immersed in nature is just an awesome feeling.

There is beauty in any direction you look. Even with the amount of people who come here, you can easily find places of solitude. Awesome place to refresh the soul!

The trail is accessible and well-maintained. A perfect getaway from the bustling noise of central Baguio city.

If you enjoy nature this is for you. The scent of pine trees, the sound of birds singing, the sunlight passing through the tree leaves, the scenery that it creates was so majestic and the cold wind breeze touching your skin has a great impact on you well being that was so relaxing.

First time to visit Camp John Hay and the place is beautiful. While on the way to eco trail, the grasses are high already and needs trimming.

Forest Bathing. The trail is relatively flat and clear. It is a very beautiful experience to do in CJH.

It's like a forest of wonders in there. No people, green tall trees. It's just beautiful!!!

It's true what the other reviewer said. This is Eco Trail, located behind the Paintball place. It's not well maintained. Right at the beginning there are many grassy/leaves on the trail. The unsafe broken wooden bridge is also at the beginning. As of mid Jan 2023, if you hike here, don't wear shorts, as all the small leaves/grassy blades will touch you because the trail is too narrow. Every step was stepping on plants. There were many forks on the way which was confusing, and 30 minutes into the trail, the trail path kinda slowly disappeared so I don't even know how/where to continue. So I had no choice but to turn back and not get lost. Because it started to become the off path style. Another dangerous note, watch your step, because about 25 minutes into the trail, there were some holes on the ground that you do not want to step on otherwise you might fall into the river. On a positive note, it was very beautiful to be surrounded by pine trees. And the 30 minute hike was not difficult at all, good for beginners (still bring water).

5 to 10 minutes short trail, just be careful crossing the short wooden bridge.

The entrance is together with the paintbal place but we couldn’t continue far into the trail. There is a wooden bridge that is damaged and it seemed a bit sketchy to go over. But it’s free of entrance and looks very secluded! Would love to see what was behind

The air was very fresh and the trees were very tall, looks great on photos and in real life. If you just want to wind down, I'd recommend this place.
