Service is excellent, from the moment you arrive until you leave the hotel. I love their rooms because it’s clean and comfy! Breakfast is amazing with plenty of choices. I cannot remember any bad experience during our stay. Their gym is quite small but it was good enough for a quick workout.

Spacious enough rooms, generous provision of bathroom toiletries, drinking water dispenser at the 6th floor, functioning cold and hot shower. It's christmas season and the atmosphere was festive with equally generous serving of christmas lights and decors at almost every corner of the hotel's shared spaces. The staff, especially during breakfast were very attentive and polite, although a smile here and there wouldn't have hurt. Trouble is, Grand Sierra is also an events place. We were not told, and now I'm telling you. So, on that afternoon that we wanted to relax and feel the cold afternoon Baguio breeze, drink coffee or beer, there it was, hysterical voices and laughter, accompanied by equally hysterical emceeing from a wedding reception being held at the ground floor that quickly obliterated the mood and ambience that we so dearly (literally) paid for but were denied to us. And mind you, hindi mumurahing hotel ang Grand Sierra Pines. Oh well, an expensive lesson learned.

Love how the water is provided in a glass pitcher and there are numerous water dispensers spread out in the hotel for refilling. Breakfast is good and changes everyday I think. We stayed for 2 days and the only menu retained was bacon πŸ₯“. Coffee shop at night closes at 9 though so if you want any drinks served beyond this hour, best luck is to go out and buy. Parking is a little bit cramped but their employees assist very well to make sure you are parked.

Highly recommended. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Staff are very accommodating. They assisted us in heating our take out orders and even provided plates and utensils. The breakfast buffet is very good too. The place is quiet and peaceful. Will stay here again on our next trip to Baguio

It is a nice hotel with gym, sauna and massage. Depending on the room category, there is an extra charge. We traveled with our Yorski. The hotel offers extra rooms for it. We were accommodated in a deluxe room. It was normally equipped (smart TV, air conditioning, telephone, queen size bed, bathroom with shower). The instantaneous water heater for the shower works only at the beginning, then cold water comes out. We had to pay an extra PHP 750 per night for our dog. For what?.. Thought the room is extra for dogs. He sleeps on the floor, the hotel does not provide anything. Not really pet friendly, we got to feel that for the first breakfast, when we had to eat breakfast far away from the breakfast buffet on the terrace and that at 17 degrees outside temperature. It rained into the hotel lobby and bar as everything is open. The staff is just busy soaking up the water somehow. The typhoon runner on the 3rd day showed that the hotel had nothing to offer, because of this we had to spend in the hotel. No bar service, no decent lobby, no cafe (only one restaurant where our dog was not wanted). The staff is friendly, helpful but not really well informed. I was bothered by the staff always standing around in groups and talking loudly. Disturbs when eating, because you feel observed by it. We ate in the room and had the food brought to us by room service. The food tastes good, is nicely arranged and the price is reasonable. You don't necessarily have to eat out. Overall, I can recommend the hotel, although the price was too high. The rooms are in need of renovation and unfortunately there is no heating. It was cold in the room. The parking space for the car was generous and in the underground garage. So the car is protected from the weather.

4.5 stars We stayed in the Family room good for 5 and enjoyed our stay here! Buffet selection could be better but their strawberry taho was a highlight for me! Coffee and hot chocolate could be better since their hot choco is only swiss milk. Staff was prompt and catered to our requests. Room is also modern. I guess one concern is the stairs at the left. You can actually hit your head if you try brewing coffee or tea. Maybe can put a warning or block somehow? The staff also btw helped us so much btw during earthquake evacuation. They gave us water and food and helped extend breakfast buffet. Thanks so much!

It’s the small attention to details that makes this hotel very good in my opinion. The location is a little bit away from the main city so it’s slightly quieter. Rooms are pretty sizeable, and the balcony is amazing. What I mean about the small things is I appreciate the full pitcher of water and the convenient water cooler outside in the common area for more drinking water. What I appreciate most is they really pay attention as to how many people are staying in the room. If 3 people register to a room, and they stay in a double twin bed room, they ask if an additional bed is needed. Most hotels just charge you extra for the third person and do nothing as far as accommodations. Third person could sleep on the floor for all they care. This hotel, if 3 people register you get actually 3 sets of amenities such as 3 sets of towels, 3 shaving kits, 3 slippers, 3 toothbrushes, 3 combs…get the idea? I’ve stayed in hotels where I register 4 people, they overcharge me, and I still only get maybe 2 sets of towels and amenities. This hotel notices those small details, accommodates and excels. So I recommend this place because the service and attention to the little things makes this an exceptional hotel.

The rooms are spacious. Was able to stay in a family room and a room with twin bed. The location was good it's near the minesview park. The food was superb, especially the breakfast buffet. The staff were considerate except for a lapse on communication we have encountered but it was resolved with utmost coordination. PS. Photos taken using film cam

We spent 2 days here and my family love it. The staff was nice, the breakfast was tasty&good. Everything is good except the view i got from my room. It’s an construction. I don’t know why the staff give us this room when i still can see there’s a lot empty room with better view. If you bring low ground clearance car, please consider the driveway when you go out of the hotel.

We have been staying at the Grand Sierra even before the pandemic. Each stay here never fails to impress us with the courtesy & attentiveness of the staff from the reception to the housekeeping, the restaurant crew, parking attendants & security personnel. The superior deluxe room we stayed in was good enough except for some let downs like the bathroom door that cant be closed properly, the screen door at the veranda cant be opened & closed with ease. The internet connection was very bad during our first two nights but it eventually got better on the 3rd night. The breakfast buffet is filling & the servings at the Outlook Drive Cafe was humongous. Overall I would rate our stay at 4.5 stars.

Nice and clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and go the extra mile. They also have a small gym which is very useful. Location is perfect when you plan to spend most of the time near camp john hay and do not want to overpay staying at the manor.

Booked a room for my parents today. Not really happy with the turnout and value considering the price . Way too simple facilities, honestly, it Would be better to Just add a bit and transfer to one of john hay hotels for better aesthetics & facilities. -Room given is fronting the street and construction site πŸ₯΄ - the look and feel is a 3 star hotel but you are charged like a 4 star hotel πŸ™ˆ - very simple furnitures like a normal modern 2 storey villa house would look. - no other facilities except for small gym , small garden, art gallery and common dining in atrium - 2k cash deposit is required yet refundable when checkout *not mentioned when using booking platforms nor in their official website Pros - attentive and accomodating staff -early checkin was allowed for my parents - hopefully the food is good ( my parents will inform me tomorrow)

This hotel is near tourist spots like Mines View Park, Burnham Park, Wright Park and more 😊 Accomodation via Agoda is quick & easy and the ambience is calming. There's a cafe, restaurant and bakery too. Breakfast buffet was also included in our room accomodation. 😊

Superb place! Very accessible to Mines View Park and Good Shepherd where you buy the best peanut brittle and strawberry jams. Hitel Staffs were very courteous and accomodating. We had my nephew’s wedding held on their outdoor garden

The facilities are clean and well-maintained, the service is good and the people are courteous, attentive, friendly and accommodating. The layout of the hotel is designed to allow breezy circulation of air , also perfect to release all the stress from the city.

Very good and clean place. Has good service and nice hotel to stay. It is quite posh and has a beautiful view. I very much enjoyed my time here. It has a glass elevator overlooking the central atrium which has a bar, a koi pond and dining area which is layered with carpet grass. It is a nice touch and I like the ambience it gives the area. The second floor has an art exhibit and a glass library. There is also a patio if you feel like dining outdoors. It's just a shame that it was raining during my stay but I could've imagined how it would look like if it was a sunny day. It would've given the hotel with its glass and wooden facets a gentle warm glow. It is a wonderful place to stay and I would say that somehow justifies the price.

I was shocked to see the ratings and comments about this place. Made me wonder what went wrong during our stay. First of all we booked two rooms. But, sad to say that one room we booked is INFESTED with cockroaches. That's right, a four star hotel has a cockroach infestation to add insult, the shower's heater isn't working well at all. The front front desk also doesn't feel that welcoming they will smile at you but, you can see the sarcasm of their smile through their eyes. They even doubted me when I told them about the infestation and the shower head. The staff didn't even handle our wedding that well the next day. It rained during our wedding and none of them looked like they have a plan B. Because, we did move indoors during the rain but, the table arrangement was all over the place. Some of my guests didn't even receive the full course meal. I can say more about their "service" but, it's not worth the trouble. We were planning to stay another night after the wedding. But, we changed our minds. We stayed at a 3 star hotel instead and the service is faaaaaar better there than in Sierra Pines. This hotel used to be precious for me since it holds a lot of memories. And the food is amazing. But, I will never go back ever again. PS: Only the valet attendants are the friendliest staff in the hotel.

Another option for a wedding venue in Baguio City. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is quiet. They allow our suppliers to set up early in order for them to finish on time. It is also so easy to transact with Mr. Leo. He is very hands-on and helpful.

(I may had no images to illustrate) I can say that there is an event (Verdana; that me and my dad side's relatives we go in for) was in a welcoming beautifully, there food was nice, photo booths, and the Violinist Man who hit the high note on its violin, snack side and pretty much more you'd imagine. If you are having a wedding to Baguio, celebrate there because you'll admit it that it will turn out nice!

Hot food was served cold.. And desserts were served warm.. Can't imagine staying here while trying to sleep through a wedding.. Reception was right under the rooms.. Weird.. The back area really smells too..

Loved the location as it is not too heavy to the traffic. The price is just right for the size of the room and breakfast is good. Thanks to the receptionist for getting us the forest view room, nice to have that coffee during sunrise.

All stall and the management have a warm welcome and extremely accommodating. They allowed us to check-in early. The food and amenities are great. Moreover, we requested and important favor from the staff and management; they went over beyond and immediately responded. We had a wonderful experience at Grand Sierra Pines Baguio.

Spent New Year's Eve here and it was good experience. What I observed is that the management of the hotel seems to really care for their staff! At the end of the night they were hugging and celebrating together!

Fairly priced and location is okay. Room is clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast has enough variety. There's a basement parking but it can be full on weekends. Only slightly negative about this hotel is that it's an events place as well, so it can be noisy...

Staff were very accommodating. We celebrated our top awardees and very one had fun. We had our own breakfast buffet area separated from the rest of the people so it was good. They have parking too. Breakfast was great, a lot of viands to choose from. They are very prompt in refills.

If you want to stay in a quieter and less congested area in Baguio, Grand Sierra Pines is definitely one of the best hotel choices. We came in as a party of 4 adults and I am surprised that the standard category with twin beds can accommodate 2 more extra beds (and still have enough space to comfortably move around). It is a pet-friendly hotel and I would personally understand if there would be β€œtraces” of it in the room but there’s none! Overall, everything was clean and the service was impeccable. The team members at the front desk and concierge were hospitable and anticipative of things we need. During our stay, there was a wedding reception but I think the hotel made sure that everything quiets down by a certain time at night so we were able to sleep well. I also like the buffet spread at breakfast (great quality) plus you can enjoy a nice view of the pine trees while dining. We didnt get to try their outlet for dinner but will surely try it next time. This Baguio hotel is highly recommended not just because of its location and view, but its team. Overall it was an excellent experience and am already planning when to go back! PS. Walking distance to Lemon and Olives & Lime and Basil is just 6-8 minutes. Also the restaurant beside it, Mangan Bistro, serves yummy Filipino and Thai comfort food.

Booked 2 rooms July 2022. Perfect location, quiet, lots of pine trees. The steak in the resto is good. Breakfast is okay. Loved the gallery! They house some of the finest artwork by National Artists! Rooms have balconies and are designed well. One of the rooms we stayed in took long to be turned over. It still smelled like dog pee when we went in and the smell never went away. They tried cleaning it but the cleaner/fragrance they used did not remove the smell of dog pee, which was an absolute downer because the price to book isn't cheap and was disappointing. The resto serves good steak, pasta, and pizza.

Very disappointed with this hotel. I booked for family room thinking that we could share beds but very strict allowing only 4 people in this room. I was told to pay for extra beds and book another room so all 10 members of my family could have their own beds. I told them I don't need extra room because these 4 small kids could share beds but not allowed. I ended up booking 2 rooms and 2 extra beds which we were told that we all have free breakfast. Breakfast came and I saw my nephew just staring food from buffet and he told me that the staff won't allow him to grab food unless it's charged. This ruined my mood the entire day which supposed to be a relaxing vacation for us. They also don't allow to use my mom's senior card because of this so called policy of billing dates. It's my first time in Baguio and I will not be recommending this place.

The design of the modern hotel embraces the weather and the surrounding views of the pine trees. It really feels like a retreat into the mountains. The hotel is just a short drive away from the interesting places of Baguio.

Apr 2022 - stayed a week. Great place but can hear adjoining room's guests' voices even when they're talking normally. Jeff of front desk was nice to keep the room vacant during middle of week so we can sleep. A lady front desk staff I spoke with on the phone at midnight was condescending. Shower pressure lacking and hot/cold water erratic. Room carpet old. Design, lobby, coi pond, bread shop, library, museum, restaurant, playground were nice.

  • 4/5 Henry D. 1 year ago on Google
Room was ample size but door couldnt open completely (a safety issue). Music and other festivities (wedding and parties) at ground floor can reach the room even with closed doors and windows. People talking outside the room (photo-video graphers for wedding) can also be heard through closed doors and windows. Parking attendants/vallet are courteous but checked-in guests arent allocated parking slot when there is an event in the hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent with good choices for both adults and children. In-house hot chocolate could be improved. Location was quiet enough from city center to appreciate the pines and views (when they dont have an event). There was an ATM at the front of the hotel. Hotel didnt inform that it was under renovation at booking or as an update. Kudos on pitcher per room for water with multiple water dispensers per floor (environment friendly). A nice kids playground area was in the grounds. Place is a short drive with light traffic near several food places in Outlook Drive.

We didn't stay here, just came to use the restaurant, but were all highly delighted with the menu options. 8 of us had a great meal which came to around 9k Php. We thought it was good value too. I would highly recommend this as a place to have a meal out. From what the other reviewers are saying it is a great place to stay also. I think we will definately consider staying here in the future.
