We booked their Executive Suite. It is clean, space is just right, and has a balcony. There is a fridge, aircon, bathtub, safe, slippers, and toiletries in the room. A buffet breakfast is also included. The toilet just needs maintenance, there is water leaking somewhere at the bowl. The heater when used produces loud noises like something is exploding inside the heater box. The buffet area, Veniz Grill, also needs more ventilation. Service is great! Check-in and check-out process is quite disappointing because it took a lot of time compared to other hotels. They should improve that especially during this time of pandemic where their lobby gets crowded with no social distancing being implemented by Baguio Tourists! There are 2 frontdesk people during checkin but only one processes it and they even have the time to chat! Overall, our staycation was still good!

First of all, the hotel lobby was so chaotic at noon when everyone was trying to check in. They require a 2pm check in exactly. We had room 613 that is so called Family Suite. Hotel/room is so old that requires complete renovation. Bathroom was disgusting and moldy. Water trickles with such low pressure. Towels are wicked old and dingy. No washcloths. No tea kettle. Bedsheets are so worn out. Mini refrigerator is wicked old. Closets smell. Couch dingy. Overall, Hotel and rooms needs COMPLETE RENOVATION! I was just too tired that night to look for another hotel in the area. Place is across the market for souvenirs which was convenient. Breakfast could be better although tolerable.

Been checking in whenever we have family gatherings, especially holidays. It is an affordable place to stay on vacation, particularly for tourists. But if you are a local resident, it is also a good place to treat yourself and your family. They also have good customer service. However, we had an experience where there was this room that does not have an AC but rather a huge electric fan and an open window for ventilation. There were also ACs from other rooms that cannot be adjusted since it is broken, so you will have to be on your blankets when sleeping and adjust every now and then. There was also no wifi for each room so you have to be outside or in the lobby area of the floor where you are located just to connect to the wifi because only each floor has one wifi. Overall, will recommend you guys to check in with your family and friends when you go to Baguio or wanted to treat your family and friends since it is near the tourist spots of the city as well as convenient to vehicles due to its location. At night, it will only take you a few steps to the night market where you can walk, buy, and eat.

Very recommended! Cheaper than other hotel. Walking distance to SM Baguio and Burnham Park. The night market is just across the street. They also offer buffet breakfast.

Location was great because you're literally in Burnham Park and is like a 5 minute walk from session road! Their restroom has a bidet and the room was quite good. The only disappointing thing was probably just the breakfast buffet where they just kept serving eggs and danguit.

We stayed there for some days and it is alright, the hotel is literally in the middle of the town so it is a pretty good advantage. The room to be honest is good enough for a short vacation. It lacks maintainance, some lights are not turning on, the shower heater was enough to irritate your skin or might even boil an egg at it as the temperature was not controllable, Problems with their drainage system, food was alright and some rooms doesnt have a fridge(lucky if you had one). To some people thinking of staying at this hotel, Iโ€™ll assure you that you can sleep comfortably but I will remind you that it can be annoying at some point.

This was my 3rd & Last stay at Veniz Burnham. Location 5/5 -just located across burnham park and walking distance to a lot of baguioโ€™s popular restaurants like Good Taste & Cafe by the Ruins, walking distance to the market to buy vegetables and pasalubongs. 5-15min walk to session road & sm baguio Parking 3/5 There was a parking slot but it was a first come first serve basis. If parking was already full, they will direct you to park at Veniz Session road instead. A little bit hassle for us since we are with our baby. This hotel can double park for you but you have to leave your keys with the guard on duty. Cannot go out easily since they have to move all the parked cars before you can exit. Customer care 1/5 Hard to contact hotel. All numbers posted are not working. No answer. Just rings. Our visita.baguio application was not confirmed because they dont answer chats and phonecalls. The good things was there was no more checkpoints during our baguio visit so they didnt checked if we already have our confirmed qr codes. If they checked, weโ€™ll have a big problem. Cleanliness 1/5 Room smells old and moldy. Sheets & towels does not smell crisp and clean. I suggest bringing your own towels. Comfort room is not clean. Faucet & shower has lots of molds. Sink dirty and faucet is loose broken. Housekeeping can do a better cleaning. We (including our baby) had skin allergies due to fungal infection from the water from showering as per our checkup with the doctor. Food 3/5 Nothing special but breakfast is free. 1st day- tapa, fried bangus, fried rice, egg, salad 2nd day- egg, hotdogs, salad You can toast your own bread, but toaster is very black and dirty. Comfort 2/5 Pillow was not soft but sheets are comfy, aircon was faulty at our room. Can only be turned off and operate at the coldest temp. Reception 2/5 We requested for tv remote 5x from the front desk, remote was never delivered. Value for money 4/5 One of the cheapest hotel with good location. Would i come back? Honestly, No. Veniz Burnham was not the same as before. Needs a lot of cleaning. I suggest just try their newer hotel V hotel apartel and Veniz Session for good customer service.

This place is old so expect the inside to be antique. washroom smells like piss when we checked in. housekeeping did her best and sprayed some fresheners inside but itโ€™s because of its old sewage system, still the funky smell is still there. itโ€™s better to check in to hotels that are new and expensive. this cheap hotel was a last resort for me. no slippers. wifi is ancient and slow. i will never ever come here again. but front desk and housekeeping were good service.

I was here years ago and it was a very nice hotel then but I think they failed on the upkeep and maintenance of this hotel. The faucet and toilet pipe was leaking. The sink bowl and the counter is cracked and the closet handle is loose. I donโ€™t know if the face towel is supposed to be white or grey and itโ€™s tattered and aged. They did provide toothbrushes and toothpastes which I didnโ€™t expect. The only best thing about this hotel tho is how centrally located it is on Session road. Overall, it needs a major makeover.

Unrecommend!!! Lots of disappointment since day 1 until 4th day of stay. Unfriendly staff except for housekeeping . They let me pay for extra bed for 3nights. its just me, husband and 3kids(9,5&4yrs old) can fit for trio room. The cashier said that she will just order to deliver the extra bed in our room but then nothing comes. I don't complain bout that. And their bfmeal coupon is 1coupon for 1kid like whhaaa??? in other hotels or buffet restaurants kids 4&5 yrs old is equivalent to 1stab bcuz half lng dapat kasi bata ๐Ÿ™„ and sa room there's an issues din. I never felt happy staying in this hotel. All I feel is heartache. So don't stay there if you don't want heart to be broken ๐Ÿ’”

April 14-17,2022 Good notes: 1. Hotel is very much near Market, Burnham Park, Cathedral and SM Baguio. 2. Employees are accommodating and courteous. Suggestions and Recommendations: 1. Place plants and picture frames around strategic location (walls and corners). 2. Add magazines or reading materials at the lobby of front desk or lobby of each floor. 3. May spray air freshner to enhance in and out air Feedback for improvements: 1. Most of the time no one answers the phone during reservation and replies in Messenger only after 24 hours 2. No Room Boy assisted us upon check-in to the room; no briefing on room facilities and amenities 3. TV is blurred and no clear sound for the other channels 4. Wifi is not stable 5. Had brown out several times 6. Faucet has leak 7. CR clogs 8. No room service for make-up/cleaning; only after 4 days of stay. Towels and toiletries are upon request. what if garbage is piling up?:( 9. No ready bottled water upon check-in; only upon request 10. AC is not cool, dirty and too old. Requested for stand fan to support AC 11. Bidet flushes a lot of water; hard to control 12. Shower control does not function well especially in switching to hot or cold selections 13. Pillows are too thin; requested for additional 14. No slippers provided for the guests 15. Restaurant is close; need to dine out 16. Elevator hangs at certain floors 17. Buffet has very limited food; not a single fresh fruit is offered; run out of bread; no cereals or fresh milk. Shelf at the restaurant may place food items like cakes, pastries or breads and juices for guests. 18. No Feedback Form is provided inside the room or upon check out

Rooms: Size was ideal for a solo traveler like me. However, faucets are leaking and the air-conditioning unit is beeping nonstop hence the sleepless nights I had for 2 nights. Service: Service was so so. Although the front desk answers my calls immediately, they're kind of not snappy. E.g - I requested for a new set of toiletries yet I received nothing for my entire stay. My keycard the ff day did not went through my room so I go back to the front desk and found it was deactivated giving me the sense of they may have put my stay for 1 night only. Which is weird. Location: Can't say anything about location. It's very near everything. Walking distance to almost of your pasalubong needs and some fast food chains and convenience stores as well.

Hotel Veniz' location is very good, which is at the middle of Baguio City (right in front of the Burnham Park) Excellent customer service. Very professional and kind. Since early 2000's our company always choose Hotel Veniz whenever we attend the annual mining convention in Baguio. Only thing that I recommend to improve here is their shower heater. No adjuster and it is set to very hot (to me at least) and I cannot use it.

Rooms are spacious, affordable and clean. Hotel strategic location is important edge to consider since its walking distance from Burnham park, night market, SM Baguio and terminal bus stop. Breakfast is buffet with limited choices but good for not picky eater. At the time of our visit, it seems there are ongoing renovation so dont expect perfect relaxing atmosphere but we enjoyed our stay as a whole.

The Veniz cafe is super good food and friendly staff that accommodate customers with smile. Tho' the hotel is old but they keep their rooms, tidy and spacious to every guests, accessible to the market, session road, parks and mall.

Their AC doesn't work. Didn't get to sleep because it was too hot. Opened the window but still no air getting in. Old building so be careful. Will not go back to that hotel again.

Such horrible experience that robbed us of a supposed happy vacation. We were denied an early check in literally 5 minutes from our reserved time. Arrived 1:55, and check in time was 2:00. Reason provided by the receptionist was, "Fully booked po kasi so naglilinis pa." Really? 5 mins before new guests come in? I would have understood if we were told we need to wait 5 minutes for them to organize the waiting guests because I realized some are also waiting in the lobby. When we got in our room, bidet was leaking and the sink was clogged. We had this reported and fixed because they collect P500 as damages deposit. The P500 deposit is not an issue, but it's such a hassle to have someone fix things in your room when you're supposed to be resting. And for someone hypersensitive about dust, the room isn't too clean either. I kept sneezing all throughout the first night. Then there was a power outage in the evening of our second night. Tried calling in using their phone but no dial tone so I guess it was the kind that uses electricity. We called their cellphone number and reached someone at the 4th call attempt, and we're told there was a scheduled outage which will be fixed in an hour. I mean, why wasn't it announced? The outage was a hassle but my family and I are not unreasonable, we know these things happen, but a heads up would have made it less infuriating. Given that we had tried calling multiple times before reaching someone, my mom had reached the lobby personally during the call I made. She made the complaint and the male receptionist had the audacity to frown on her? Food is so-so. Not friendly for picky eaters like myself and my brother. But it's still complimentary, so I won't say much about it. It isn't even as accessible as I hoped it would be. Pedestrian lanes are a bit far off to Burnham Park, and the walk to restaurants are uphill. We could have gone somewhere else with more accessible footpaths. We're still here and checking out today at 12 noon, and I doubt anything could change my mind about this hotel. Overall Baguio experience was wonderful but the stay in this hotel was something I regret. We booked this place because my aunt recommended it but I guess we had different experiences.

Very nice customer service and approachable. The room is good however you can see that it was a bit old. They offer free buffet breakfast which is really good.

Don't book your stay here. Receptionist Manager Kathlyn she is very rude and un accommodating. What kind of service you get just from the start when you get bad service. Room is old no window like box with bed. Shower plug with mold and mildew . So scared to shower with that dirty. Hot water not working. Need to put extra time to keep this place updated. The only good things is location is in the center of the city.

The staff is very accomodating. Great service. The hotel is old and out dated. But it safe. I will surely return to this hotel to my next trip...

Very old hotel. A lot of equipment is broken (lights, shower equipment...). Cleaning is imprecise, cups are still wet, moldy in the shower, towels are almost gray and torn. The advantage is that it is very lively nearby. In addition to many restaurants, there is also a night market

  • 5/5 sam c. 1 year ago on Google
Nice and staffs are very accomodating, Free delicious breakfast and not easy to forget the taste and its smell of pine trees that sorround the area. Night Market opens and start at 9pm to 12 mn.

We visited on November 25, 2022 The accommodation is good for it's affordable price. Our room was clean and everything's functioning. There's air-condition but we didn't turn it on since it's cold already. The heater in bathroom is nice and also the blow dryer. There's an electric kettle and flat screen tv. There's bathroom amenities like toothpaste, tooth brush, shampoo, soap, towels, and cotton buds. Also, there's an instant coffee. There's a complimentary breakfast. It's a buffet nothing special but as I said worth what we paid for at a cheap price. Just hotdog, omelette, fish, salad, cereals, orange juice, brewed coffee, pan with ube jam, and fruits. The staff are nice, we asked for pail and dipper and housekeeping delivered it immediately. Also, we asked if they can safe keep our things although it's our check out already and they agree. The location is great. There's a grocery and McDonald's in the same building as the Hotel. Baguio night market is just 20 walks away. The only thing that is hassle was elevator. There's no elevator in 4th floor where we stayed, so we have to walk one flight of stairs from 3rd to 4th but hey it's an exercise. I will go back again here.

HOTEL VENIZ BURNHAM HOTEL REVIEWS Stay duration: April 14-17, 2022 Room category: Standard Two Single Good: bed is good, one step away in the city, wet market, session road, burnham park, sm city. Value of money is okay reason is below: Bad: the room is very old, i was stay at room 529. Almost 3 bulb are busted so room is dark, wifi is weak. Not recommend who has wfh set up.Power outlet only 3 are working. AC was old and damage reason of a bit hot temp in the room. ( dko sure ung room na binigay skn is lahat defective). Upon arrival no hand towel, and only 2 pillow each bed, so i just call FO to request for hand towel and additional pillow. Elevator was so slow, so if galing kayo sa pamamasyal at need nyo mag cr tapos mag aantay kayo sa elevator goodluck. Breakfast is okay, mabagal lang refill ng plates, spoon and fork, upon checking sa kitchen na visible ang staff karamihan is puro trainee. Upon approach for the FO to get my breakfast voucher, Decline to gave it to me. Suggest to drop-by on the nxt morning knowing that they have a very slow elevator. No anticipation for that.

Water in the shower is leaked its hard for you to sleep. Takes too long when you check in and check out. Room i got was not that clean. Especially the heater. Its better to bring your own slippers.

  • 2/5 Vicki L. 1 year ago on Google
Location is in the middle of the city which is great and the complimentary breakfast is good. The reason why it has 2 stars is because their new towels smell like they've been left in the washer a little too long before being dried leaving that musty smell to it. The towels and linens should be replaced with new ones because they are old and dingy( they lost their whiteness). The water in the shower drips when it's off and it is hard to operate the shower temp control. Some outlets were also either broken or pushed in.

ROOM: the heater wasnโ€™t working during our stay, so taking a shower after coming back from the night market at 1am means we showered with really cold water. They brought pails of hot water for us to use in the morning. SERVICE: they accommodated our request to bring hot water daily at a certain time in the morning because the heater doesnโ€™t work. They had no choice. I had no choice. LOCATION: it is perfectly situated near all the places we wanted to visit!

We stayed in this hotel in superior room for 2 nights for holiday. I don't request for the room to be cleaned, but just requested some fresh towels. On the day that we're going to check out and getting our deposit, the receptionist told us that we need to pay for the request towels. No one informed us about this before we check in. This is the only hotel that charged for fresh towels,so guest please be aware.
