What was once a first class hotel is now a dated hotel with poor facilities and amenities. We stayed in room fifth floor and the room felt very dated. We paid for a room with ac and you still need to ask for a remote from the frontdesk. This is very odd since it should be standard that remote be provided in room upon checkin. We paid for room for four but were provided towels and toiletries for 2. The screen on the glass door fell over when we tried to chekc the balcony. The balcony floorings were wobbly and loose. There molds growing in the shower enclosure and several chipped tiles as well. Checkin took 30 minutes and we were the only one checking in at that time. The wifi was pretty much non existent. Asked 3x already for assistance and still waitingโ€ฆ. Cant believe we paid so much money for such bad service and facilities. The only redeeming thing about this place is the staff, very friendly and polite. I wouldnt normally be complaining about the small things but if you are charging 7k a night you expect a level of service from them. This hotel better get their act together. Find better options elsewhere!

Heated toilet seats? Yes please! I never realized how awesome it was until I tried it. Wheeeeee! The buffet is fantastic. Parking is plentiful and basically everything about this hotel is premium.

Le Monet presents itself as a high-end hotel in Baguio City but is actually dated, ugly, and broken in the inside. Wifi is choppy, pool is freezing cold, and staff is mediocre with their service and quite clueless with the issues we brought up such as the wifi and cold pool. Management is probably terrible. The rooms are clearly not well maintained as there is visible grime in many corners and the musty smell is covered by a strong car freshener scent. The towels are rough and does not have that clean sense you would hope for, beds are old and sinking, the dark carpeting on the floor makes you wonder what dirt hides in it. There are random drilled holes all over the walls and stains in the bathroom. With the price you pay, it is not worth the stay. You would be better off booking with Lafaayette or The Manor if you really want to stay at Camp John Hay.

The smell of an old place lingers here, but still okay because the place is clean. From Here you can easily access other tourist spots inside Camp John Hay. Breakfast buffet is okay. Strawberry champorado is also good.

3 days-2nights stay Good points: - security, vallet, reception staff are friendly. They will greet you regardless the time of the day. - Towels are clean and in good condition still. Sheets, mattress pillows are soft BAD POINTS - visited Baguio July (rainy season) so the weather is cold esp at night 18-19 deg. Usual hotels in Baguio doesnโ€™t have ac. The room is cold when the balcony door is open. But once you close it, it gets warm. We had to ask for a fan or portable ac middle of the night. So if you have babies/children, better ask for it early on. We stayed in other hotels and portable ac is readily available already - The internet connection is poor and slow. And you have to log in every single time your phone disconnects. Unlike other hotels that connects it automatically. - The hotel is one of the older hotels so expect carpets, curtains to be a bit dirty. - Our room phone handle is broken but still functioning - Shower knob, toilet covers are loose - They didnโ€™t replenish bathroom toiletries. Not that we need them but should be a standard. - The hotel parking is across the street, open and not cemented. It gets muddy and wet when it rains. Itโ€™s not a bother but some might not like it. - We asked for just a 15-30min extension for checkout and they didnโ€™t accommodate. Not mad about it but could be a disappointment. Are we coming back? Maybe not again. There are better hotels of better service of the same price.

Big room and our stay is pretty much okay. Staff was nice and welcoming but the buffet breakfast has limited options and forgettable. Good thing this hotel is located inside Camp John Hay, the location gives us a reason to book here.

They forgot to serve what was ordered in the lobby cafe. Location is within camp john hay, near the convention area. Data connection is bad in the area, hardly can get email out with globe. Smart runs ok.

Quite expensive for what it is.the price you get when you book online apparently does not include taxes yet so it ends up being the same price as The Manor Hotel. Check in was okay. Room is small and bed is quite hard. Check out was horrible. Took us more than 30mins to check out. Front desk kept on assisting people who are cutting the que ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Amazing service we just experienced earthquake 6.8 magnitude. They told us to evacuate the building, they give us chairs, drinks, cookies and breads at the parking lot while waiting. Thank u for the excellent and extra ordinary service "LeMonet"

Great food and excellent rooms. Located inside the Camp John Hay in Baguio City. Several steps away is the filling station where you can have some varied types of food if you become hungry.

Stayed for 4 nights with family. The stay was better than expected. The back of the hotel is picturesque secret garden. Front is facing a street. The staff are friendly and professional. Memorable were the breakfast crew. They are attentive and hardworking. The hidden gem of the property. When you go there for breakfast have Elaine do the salad with balsamic vinegar salad and cheese. I will also remember their brewed coffee. (I get 3 cups a day but without the palpitations.) On the negative side, the rooms that were neighboring my 70 year old mom room were smoking cigarettes. Despite mentioning it to the property, the smoking repeated itself at least twice. I had to stay in the room for the remaining nights to watch on her. Despite the incident, I will remember Le Monete and her staff warmly. I have no hesitations recommending this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing stay in Baguio.

Le Monet Hotel in Baguio is a delightful retreat nestled in the lush pine-clad mountains of the Philippines. As soon as you step foot into the hotel, you'll be captivated by its cozy and rustic charm, with its wooden interiors and warm, welcoming ambiance. The rooms at Le Monet Hotel are spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, mini fridges, and Wi-Fi. The comfortable beds and plush linens ensure a restful night's sleep, and the large windows provide breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty. One of the highlights of Le Monet Hotel is its exquisite dining options. The on-site restaurant serves a delectable array of local and international cuisine, prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. The breakfast buffet is a true delight, offering a wide selection of hot and cold dishes to suit all tastes. The hotel's facilities are equally impressive, with a fitness center, spa, and heated indoor pool for guests to enjoy. The attentive and friendly staff at Le Monet Hotel are always ready to assist with any request, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. The location of Le Monet Hotel is also a major plus, with popular attractions such as Camp John Hay and Mines View Park just a short distance away. The hotel's serene surroundings and cool mountain air provide a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. In conclusion, Le Monet Hotel in Baguio offers a charming and cozy retreat for travelers seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay amidst nature's beauty. With its well-appointed rooms, delicious dining options, excellent facilities, and attentive service, it is a top choice for a memorable getaway in Baguio.

The rooms are nice, very elegant yet homey. I stayed in the attic and it gives good ambiance. Perfect for relaxation with family or friends. The beds are awesome. Freebies are available. The only thing I did not enjoy much is the food. I tried both their buffet and plated. Their buffet is good, especially the breakfast, but a few choices. Still, delicious. The plated are bad. It's cold and dry. I would appreciate it if they tried to at least microwave the food, especially Baguio is a cold place so food gets cold faster.

The hotel was mostly comfortable and the breakfast options were really good. The facilities look dated except for the bathroom but it was homey and quiet for the most part. Kid-friendly. Attractions are close to the hotel but you may need to book Grab or a taxi to get to some places as the area is not walkable especially at night.

Room was very clean. From beddings, towels to the bathroom to the balcony overlooking the forest. They have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+. Service was nice. Approachable staff but we had to followup the desk multiple times just to ask for water. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Location is excellent. If you donโ€™t mind walking a few meters to restaurants and/or convenience stores, itโ€™s great. Near trails inside Camp John Hay and recreation spots. Overall a pleasant experience and will definitely stay here again.

We only came here to try the strawberry champorado and sample the breakfast menu. The staff were nice and friendly but the service could still be improved by a lot. The facade was also covered with scaffolding, so we thought it was closed at first. I called 2 weeks before our trip to secure a reservation, but they told me it was not needed. I then decided to still secure a reservation since we were a big group, but my multiple phone calls a day or two prior remained unanswered. The breakfast buffet was closing when we arrived so there were only a few people present. We were seated right away and provided with the menu. The strawberry champorado is served starting 10am, so I ordered it right away while we were deciding what savory dishes to try. We waited more than 40 minutes for the food. We were all very hungry at that point. They served the hot drinks first, so when the food came, all the drinks were cold. The food was delicious and with a good portion, so there were no complaints there. The strawberry champorado was good, but the color suggests they might have used artificial coloring. Our younger cousin commented that it tasted like strawberry stick-o, so there might be some artificial flavoring as well. Overall, it was a good experience, but one not worth repeating.

It was our first time staying at Le Monet and had a good time during our 2-day stay. Parking in front of the hotel was on a first come-first served basis, check-in/check-out process was swift, most staff were nice and polite, our room had a nice garden view, they have quite a high tech flushing system, using a tankless toilet and an electronic flush. They have a bidet, a TV set inside the restroom and some basic toiletries should you have forgotten to bring. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast spread at The Lobby. They have a variety of fried and white rice, cooked viands and your typical breakfast ones - eggs, longganisa, spam, salted egg, ham, cold cuts, vegetable salad, breads, jams, cereals, coffee, name it. You may also want to have some fried egg or omelet. Request for it, and it will be cooked right in front of you. The staff also do not mind re-heating foods that have obviously gone cold. One afternoon we tried the strawberry champorado. It sells at 135 php and a must-try, I should say. They also have champorado in ube flavor, which we were not able to try out though. It was a little noisy outside our room at times. Other than that, it was a peaceful stay at Le Monet.

We had buffet breakfast and enjoyed the time catching up with my sisters while siping great coffee. Unforunately didnot stay in the hotel. Only has breakfast which was really good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Refill came quickly as some dishes ran out so quickly.

Le Monet hotel is the third hotel that I know of inside Camp John Hay with the first two being The Manor and the second being Forest Lodge. Le Monet though looks a lot more modern and smaller compared to the other two. However it does have several restaurants attached to it like filling station, titania wine and shakey's. It also has its own heated swimming pool

I'm quite in shock about my experience here. I used to stay here all the time for work, recently, my flight was canceled and I had to delay my trip by two weeks. Le Monet refused to refund or change my reservation to accommodate. I will not be staying here again. The rooms are also extremely loud and the service is slow. I do not recommend it here.

We had lunch there, i asked the waitress if the kare-kare was beef lean meat, she said yes, turned out to be oxtails and the banana blossoms are color black like a week old or so. Even the bistek was all fat and cut like bacon crumbs. Disappointing. It was pricey and we felt ripped off.

Stayed here in December 2019 for our company's business planning, and planning to go here again this year or whenever possible to bring my mother and partner :) Love the breakfast buffet!

In general the establishment and service was good. I would have given a 5 star if it wasn't for the transfer of room as there was no cable service in our first room. When they transferred us to our second room, the bathroom smells so bad (amoy kanal) and we have to close the door to avoid spreading into the whole room. I've reported this to the housekeeping attendant who cleaned our bathroom at one time, and said that its due to the septic tank odor coming out of the drainage, which needs regular siphoning.

I booked a park view room specially for 2 nights. They provided me the road facing view there was no park in front. I asked them for the other side, they said you need to pay 2 thousand peso for upgrade.I paid got the receipt. Upon checking out they asked for 2 thousand more it was a big surprise for me. I kept on asking them why, they said it's per night. I said,I paid everything in advance it it was 2 thousand per night you should have asked me for 4 thousand. They kept me on waiting for around 45 mins, there was no manager to talk to. Booked a one bedroom suite and boy their rooms tend to be dimly lit. Rooms are smaller that those in The Manor though. However, their rooms have better amenities and better view โ€” each with a veranda, a modern CR with heated toilet seats and its own TV set, an AC(if the weather gets hot). The ones in The Manor are more spacious but are a bit bare. The hotel also has a heated pool and a SPA on the ground floor for those looking for things to do. The hotel is an painterโ€™s paradise. The lobby is littered with paintings from world relnowned painters like Joya and Alcuaz

Had a nice peaceful stay at Le Monet Hotel inside Camp John Hay for our 26th Wedding Anniversary Check in was quick, service was efficient and rooms were equipped with all the basic things you need for quick vacation. What I really love about this place was their location, inside Camp John Hay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Baguio. I had really pleasant sleep and afternoon naps too. And don't skip their buffet breakfast. They serve everything from Salads, fruits, Cereals, breads to Continental breakfast items plus Filipino Longganisa and an egg station too. There are also several viands and rice if you prefer something heavier, especially those who who are checking out and needs to travel. Drinks are water, tea, coffee as well as juices. Will definitely come back here with the kids

The General Manager Jay reeks of racism, he does not believe in serving guests with Indian ethnicity. This is the worst experience i had after living in Phillipines for more than 3 years. The bottom line is if you dont like serving guests from India then you should not accept their bookings.

Located at Camp John Hay. Love the service. Its my first time in a hotel without aircon! The room temperature is ok, still requested for an elec fan. Pricing is a little steep because of the location its near filling station and hillstation and other tourist attractions

This is my 2nd time at Le Monet and overall the experience has been dissapointing. The pandemic must have deteriorated their standards which were once pretty high. The staff are not very accomodating, nobody answers the phone here. My room was dark because most of the light bulbs were not functioning. They dont even serve water to guests in the room. Basically most standard hotel requests i had were met with a no. For the price they are charging, felt it was terrible value for money. If you are are planning on taking taxis to get around baguio, le monet is not an ideal location to get one. I will not be staying here again.

Good location within Camp John Hay with its own triage at their parking lot in front of the hotel. Rooms are small yet cozy with nice automated bidet toilets. Recommend to get rooms on the upper/top floors as those on the lower floors tend to be more noisy especially those fronting the main road. Buffet breakfast was sufficient although food service staff tend to get easily distracted with simultaneous orders. Had to wait for my simple spanish omellette for 30 minutes and when i got up from my table to follow up, they promptly took away all my food and plates that i had barely eaten due to waiting for my omellette to get cooked ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ started from scratch all over again at the buffet. What a waste of food! ๐Ÿ˜“ Frontdesk and reservations staff were extremely helpful especially after having to rebook my reservations 5x due to the sudden lockdowns over the past year. Too bad the indoor pool and spa were still closed during our stay last Feb 17-20. Wifi was fast and had low latency which allowed for zoom meetings and online gaming. Overall still a recommended place to stay.

Highs: Staff are helpful and courteous Loc is near restaurants Great view Lows: -Thereโ€™s a strong bad smell coming from the bathroom toilet. -Water availability is also an issue -Toilet bidet is not working -We need to buy our own toiletries as the ones they have in the hotel does not do itโ€™s purpose -Safety vault not working -No available robes - They do not allow early check-in and late check-out -Food availability is only until 5PM

  • 5/5 Gil L. 1 year ago on Google
Cozy place, courteous staff and delicious food. Room was alright; soft bed, hot water shower and coffee service = definite thumbs up. Balcony afforded good few of beautiful pine trees.

  • 4/5 Angelica T. 1 year ago on Google
I guess the room is neat and spacious. It's just the first time I stayed in a room without air conditioning but it must be that way as it's chilly even without it. Room service is excellent as everything ordered is served in a timely manner. Location is near Baguio Country Club, there are also plenty of plant sellers, and Horseback riding hourly rent available nearby. Breakfast buffet is available until 11am.
