Hotel is walking distance from Session road, accessible to all place of interest. It’s an old hotel but still delivers the comfort. Bed is soft and linens are clean. The floor is wood unlike new hotels with filthy carpet. Housekeeping is great, the room is clean and bathroom was dry when we arrived. Trash bin was clean and no traces from previous guest. Television inside the room is working with 70+ channels cable tv. Receptionist are helpful and courteous. The restaurant is the highlight for me, affordable good food with buffet breakfast that offers healthy salad. I stayed 3 days and I enjoyed my stay.

In general, staff were courteous & pleasant. The place is likewise cozy and clean. The room also smells good and clean. However, during our stay, there was a time we had to use stairs bec the elevator was not working.

Rooms are spacious enough to breathe and relax. Although Baguio City is already cold enough, the rooms are still provided with air-conditioning units just in case it is not cold enough for you haha! I personally love their commitment to reduce plastic waste by replacing their complimentary plastic water bottles with refillable glass carafe and glasses in the room, which one could refill in a common mineral water dispenser. I also love that they showcase the famous strawberry taho of the corsilleras in their breakfast buffet. The staff are very friendly and accomodating too 😊

The location is very convenient. Its walking distance to session road, to SM Baguio, to my favorite resto Hill Station, to the Cathedral and ofcourse to the many ukay ukay stores. The breakfast (buffet) is a very good deal with the room rates. They have strawberry taho, danggit, longanisa, fresh fruits, etc. The staff are all very nice and helpful.

The family room is great, clean and spacious. But no kitchen utensils provided when we stayed. Friendly staffs. Expect the shower to have a less water. Near SM baguio.

Definitely for people who wants a safe and quiet place in Baguio. It is in the city center, near SM Baguio, but it's got its own way that is why there is not much pedestrian and cars. You can easily walk towards sm or session road and nearby must-see attractions but as a sedentary person, walking around feels like a hike. You can go anywhere by hailing taxis which are affordable. Their rates are reasonable, rooms have ample space, did not had any issue with water, electricity, or wifi. You will get full with their complimentary breakfast which included strawberry taho which I love. I'd choose El Cielito again if I will go back to Baguio.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's walking distance to SM Baguio and Upper Session Road. And even though it's in the city center, it's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Session Road. There is also parking space for those who brought cars. There are lots of ATMs in front of and beside this hotel. The rooms are newly-renovated. The floors are wooden; very cozy in a cool weather. The toilet and bathroom are also new. The rooms have plenty of power outlets - the most I've seen in any hotel. The internet connection is fast and stable. There's a conference room, but there's no swimming pool. Breakfast buffet is 3 stars.

Thank you for the hospitality! The hotel is near Session Road, Victory Liner, and SM Mall. The breakfast buffet and staff are excellent. Check out their new renovated family room- it's quite roomy and inviting. The bathroom is immaculately fresh and spotless! Thank you El Cielito Inn Baguio! FBL12.18.23

Just had afternoon snack at their resto/coffee shop and left my car at the hotel parking area, coz i had business w the nearby BIR office. The hotel is very accessible and within walking distance to session Rd, SM, cathedral or the CBD itself. Also bus terminals for victory, also gov pack buses like genesis/joybus etc. So ideal lodging for commuters from lowlands/MM. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Everything's great. The only thing I noticed is, they don't have slippers that could be of great help to guests like me. It's essential to have 'em.

FROM DISASTER TO DELIGHT. Neither Agoda nor the hotel informed us of the requirements for travel to Baguio. As a result, we were stuck at a checkpoint for 1 Β½ hour trying to hastily arrange the needed paperwork. This time sucking inconvenience and hassle would have been avoided had the hotel let us know before travel that we needed to visit a website and upload copies of licenses etc. (there had been various personal emails between us). The Covid requirements were very proforma, all easily provided and accomplished but not when you are stuck on a mountain road at a checkpoint with barely an internet signal. I was furious. This was a screw-up. When I arrived at the hotel. The manager came to speak to me. She took responsibility. We worked out a reasonable settlement. She did her job in spades. I was so impressed. And I let her know. So, yes – stay in this hotel. The staff care, make adjustments and take responsibility when they screw up. The room was fine. TV worked very well – had premium channels and good reception. This hotel is run by someone who cares about their service and their customers. It shows.

This is our 2nd time to stay at El Cielito, and it's quickly becoming a favorite. Situated literally at the top of Session Road although car parking is limited - so this is great if you love to walk, and with the Baguio traffic being what it is, you can just walk down Session Road and buy your souvenirs and vegetables at the market downtown, then just take the jeepney going back up to El Cielito. Their staff is very helpful and will do their best to meet your requirements - we got a room upgrade for my mom with a wheelchair and got adjoining rooms. We even got to use the hotel wheelchair while in the hotel. Love the complimentary water dispensers on every floor - and the daily complimentary breakfast buffet which is limited but filling (best if you like Filipino food - we had lugaw/congee, fried rice, scrambled eggs, longanisa, chicken, pork as options - and they still had the strawberry taho which we had pre-pandemic). The downside I have here are the rooms have thin walls - so it's easy to hear people talking in nearby rooms and the corridor. So do request to stay away from large groups when you check-in. But his hotel - is strategically located and great value-for-money for me and my family!
