Friendly and professional staff. Room service support is also prompt when called upon for some assistance in their room amenities. I appreciate that they have nespresso maker and 2 capsules available upon our check in. First time I came across this type of amenity inside a hotel of that room rate. This somehow compensates for its smaller space and limited mobility whilst inside the confines of the room. But if you are simply looking for a quiet night's rest, this hotel is for you.

One of the standout features of Casa Vallejo is undoubtedly its rich history. Housed in a beautifully preserved building that exudes colonial-era architecture, the hotel transports you back in time while offering modern comforts. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with an inviting ambiance that speaks volumes about the hotel's heritage. The staff at Casa Vallejo also deserve a special mention. Their warmth and friendliness truly made me feel at home during my stay. From the moment I checked in to the time I left, the staff members were always ready to assist with a smile, offering recommendations for local attractions and ensuring that my needs were met. My room was another highlight of the stay. Spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, it provided a comfortable sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in preserving the historical aspects of the building while incorporating modern amenities was impressive. It's evident that the hotel takes pride in maintaining its historical integrity. Location-wise, Casa Vallejo couldn't be more convenient. Situated just a short walk away from both Baguio City center and SM City Baguio, it's an ideal base for exploring the city's attractions and indulging in some retail therapy. Being able to easily access these places on foot was a huge plus for me. However, the stay wasn't without a couple of minor drawbacks. The water pressure in the bathroom was notably weak, which made showering a bit less enjoyable than it could have been. Additionally, the internet signal was disappointingly slow and weak. While I understand that Casa Vallejo's appeal lies in its historical nature, a more reliable internet connection would be appreciated by modern travelers who rely on staying connected.

The hotel is a historical building, with Wooden cladding interiors I booked the Honeymoon Suite, a small room of sorts. I do not know how it is called Suite. It is in the basement of the building and at the front of the main street, which is higher than the level of the window. The room bathroom needs some maintenance, especially the standing shower. The staff is friendly and fully aware of their work. also, the staff is helpful. The breakfast is not a buffet. they have more than a menu. You can choose whatever you like, the prices are reasonable, if you are moving by Car you have to book the Parking through the hotel, are really grateful to receptionist employee who was found my passport , after Check out, I waited for the driver in the hotel lobby. Fortunately, he was a little late. While I was waiting, the receptionist checked the room. Thank God, he found my passport in the drawer, I appreciate what he has done he is an employee who knows his duties.

This is a very old Hotel in Baguio. It may very well be the oldest Hotel and has a reputation of being haunted though after multiple renovations, it does look very pretty now though it still keeps its old world charm. Rooms are not expensive though the restaurant isn't cheap but does offer good quality food

Authentic baguio experience!!! Thats what you would feel staying here. Staff were courteous and helpful. Close to tourists spots. And fair pricing! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Will definitely come back.

For everything that I don't like about Casa Vallejo the staff would make up for it. It's an older hotel I get that but the management needs to compete with some of the other hotels and 1 have some better bed's way to hard. But the staff brought me a 4 inch matress topper. 2 There's is no furniture in the room, just a wooden chair and a night stand between the beds, no place for your luggage so they lay on the floor 3 of them taking up a lot of floor space. 3 we had the misfortune of being there during a typhoon and of course the power went out, the hotel doesn't have a generator, but again the staff brought us a battery powered light and a flashlight, and was told that we could change our phones and gagets down in the restaurant that is part of the hotel, they have a generator, but not the hotel. The restaurant was great, but that is a different review. We are all ready planning on coming back to Baguio but sadly not here.

Casa Vallejo is a must stay in Baguio! Pros: 1) A hotel w/ rich history, given that the structure was build in 1909. I love the interior & the old world feels of this hotel. It has a very quiet & relaxed vibes. 2) Polite, responsive & helpful staff - were very accomodating & nice! They helped & answered our requests/ questions patiently. Check in time was 2pm, but we arrived in Baguio 5am. To help us, they offered to keep our baggages while waiting for check in time. They also kept our baggages safe when we did an early check out (we visited Atok early morning) & just dropped by at the hotel upon our return to the city to pick up our stuff. Also since we planned to travel to Atok very early, we won’t be on the hotel to claim our complimentary breakfast & they are kind enough to offer that they’ll ask the restaurant to make our breakfast to go so we can eat it on a later time. 3) Location is accessible & convenient - The hotel is very accessible where jeepneys & taxis pass by. SM City Baguio is also just beside the hotel just 5-10 minute walk. Aside from the mall, it is also within walking distance of banks, restaurants & other businesses. 4) Clean comfortable room & good wifi connection - we chose the standard suite (road side) & we’re quite satisfied with our overall stay. The room is clean, lit well & ventilated with ceiling fan (w/c we really liked) & aircon (very helpful in maintaining room temperature). The bed is firm & when requested they also provided extra pillows. It’s also furnished with a desk, chair & ottoman. Closet space comes with an flat iron & ironing board, mini ref, safe, electric kettle, coffee maker. They also placed glasses, cups, saucers & three glass bottles filled with drinking water. Such clever use of space! The bathroom has a toilet & shower area, it’s clean. They provided soft towels, lotion, shampoo & conditioner. Should you want to make up the room, you can put the sign on your door or let them know by informing the lobby. The Wi-fi connection was stable & fast in our room. Eventhough, we are on the lower level road side, our stay was quiet & we only heard minimal noise. 5) Complimentary breakfast/partner Restaurant - breakfast provided by their partner restaurant (Hillstation - located within the hotel itself, lower level) was so good! There is quite a selection you can choose from which we really enjoyed. The restaurant interior & ambiance is very relaxing, beautiful with natural light coming from wide windows. The staff were very kind, polite & attentive to our needs. We also tried their dinner menu, at night the resto has a romantic vibe with live piano music. Book in advance, the place is always buzzing with guests. As mentioned above, our overall stay in Casa Vallejo was very pleasant. Though, there’s still room for improvement: 1) Room furninshing - The room is quite nice & clean as mentioned, though an update on furnishing might be necessary: - An additional dresser, small table & 2nd chair would be nice - Provide an extension cord as it is a bit difficult to bend down just to reach the electric outlets below the desk - Repaint on shower wall (peeling paint on small area above shower head) - More shelf space on shower area to put toiletries - Lastly, it was a bit tricky to close the door while inside the bathroom. 2)TV - During our stay we weren’t able to watch anything due to issues with their cable service provider. Not a big deal for us since we dont watch much TV, but other guests might find this inconvenient. 3)A hotel floor map including location of tenants - We tend to explore the places we book, quietly exploring the space & understanding our way. Though the staff were all nice enough to guide us, it would be beter if we do have a floor map we can refer to (posted on the hallway/in the rooms) so we can independently navigate the place. Hope you can work on these & will surely return. Thank you!

Casa Vallejo was built in 1909 and is considered as one of the oldest hotels in Baguio. Experience “old Baguio feel “that is close to nearby establishment like restaurants, stores and SM mall is just across. It is conveniently located in Upper Session and close to almost everything. Staff are accommodating and provides assistance when needed. However, some things that are worth mentioning and I hope management will improve on are matters that concerns room maintenance. I won’t recommend the Standard rooms near the road since you will hear the vehicles passing by. Our two rooms located at the end of alley did not have wifi connection as their wifi is only available to those near the lobby. Our friend’s room did not have shower due to lack of water pressure. They were also unable to sleep well because their beds are hard and uncomfortable. Bedrooms slippers were not available in rooms although it was indicated included in their website. Their bathrooms and rooms need updating, the carpet looks old and not so clean. One good thing is their rooms have air-conditioning which is not common in some hotels that only provide fans. Water heater is also available in their bathrooms. Given their current room rates they should be at par with other hotels giving better service. They could lower their rates so expectation wont be high or they should at least update their amenities to equal their relatively high room rates. Lastly, i really hope management will improve their amenities as this hotel is worth preserving due to its historical value.

The room is clean, well-kept inspite of its old age. It has an old but fragrant smell. The heater though doesn’t work instantly, I think it’s this way for most accommodations? Not sure. My room is beside the road so if you are a light sleeper beware. The location is great it’s just a 5 min way to SM Baguio and 8 min walk to Session Road.

Stay in Casa Vallejo really gives the cool but cozy Baguio experience. We stayed at their Honeymoon suite -- really spacious, neat, and nice. The room's closet is a storage space of course basically for clothes, but also for the mini-fridge, ironing board, blowdry, and other stuff. There are side tables for each side of our bed. Queen bed was surely comfortable, with thick blankets and we also got to request an extra pillow. Toilet and bathing needs are also covered as our room of course has a water heater and we were provided with towels, and bottles of body wash and lotion. We were also provided in-room slippers. We also appreciate that Casa Vallejo partners with a cable service provider so there were a lot of nice channels we could watch on TV. Casa Vallejo is located just below the SM hill. It only takes a few minutes of walk to Session Road, Burnham Park, and the Public Market, but going to back to the hotel from these places might be tiring because the way back is uphill. There are a lot of taxis around, and one can also use Grab so going back to the hotel won't be that hard. We thank Casa Vallejo for our enjoyable, relaxing stay -- the staff in the reception, of room service, and waiters, and cooks of Hill Station for their service. Looking forward to stay there on our next visit to Baguio. 😊

Yummy food, convenient location. We highly recommend the Wild deer and Wild boar dishes. -1 star for cleanliness and customer service. The bedsheets were very stained. We also had welcome drinks included in our package. We were not given this and when requested, they said they forgot and they will not be making it for us. Location is near SM and Burnham Park.

Very nice historic hotel. Great ambience. The staff and manager were great. The location is very good (downtown location close to SM Mall). There's a spa and a cool little antique shop just outside the front door. There's a very good coffee shop behind the hotel. The restaurant was awesome. We enjoyed our meals and the live entertainment (husband and wife singing and guitar duo). Good wifi and air conditioner in the rooms. Our only issue was that our first room had fleas. My wife was bitten several times on our first night (before we knew there were fleas). When we brought this issue to management, they moved us and told us that they do not let pets stay at the hotel. A quick search of the Internet revealed that was not the truth. On Facebook, the hotel advertises that they are pet friendly back in February and March (months before our stay). We booked through Agoda, which indicates that pets are not allowed.

If feasible, avoid getting the lower ground rooms, you will hear everything going on in the hotel due to wooden floors and staircase. It'll be a nightmare for light sleepers. Otherwise, good customer service and location is a big plus.

Casa Vallejo is situated in the heart of Baguio's central business district, making it convenient for visitors to explore nearby attractions such as Burnham Park, Session Road, and the Baguio Cathedral. The hotel features well-appointed rooms with a touch of vintage elegance, reflecting the city's rich history.

For a pricey hotel, the room wasnt really at par to same priced hotels. Issues include the ff: (1) intermittent bathroom water flow. We had to call the front desk to restore water midway a shower. (2) TV remote missing. (3) Lack of privacy because neighboring resto can see us from the outside. (4) Wifi only available at the lobby and doesnt reach the room (5) complimentary breakfast is only worh 250php. Good food from hillstation but really, for the price of the hotel room, i think the meal size/choice could be improved Crew were very nice and accommodating though.

Casa Vallejo served my purpose in going to Baguio. It's slightly above the main thoroughfare Session Road and situated between 2 major streets -one at the front and the other at the back. It's walking distance to SM mall and other offices and businesses. You're part of history but with history comes it's pitfalls. The room we had was tiny and at the front hence the main road. The basic amenities are there. Let's talk about housekeeping. Per Agoda, one of it's amenities is daily housekeeping but that didn't happen. Our bathroom on the 1st day that we checked in didn't have a hand towel to wipe our hands once we wash it but there was a hand towel rack. They don't provide a small bar of soap to wash our hands. The towel bar kept on falling. We tried to put it back to no avail. Finally, on our third day, I asked the front desk to clean our room. The water for tea/coffee was not filled and you know that the cups were washed if they were turned upside down but they are not. You should try the in+house restaurant coz food is delicious and service is great. I just wondered why there is a sign on the hallway stating "less awesome and awesome with arrows pointing to the rooms". It so happened that the less awesome was pointing to our room.

Close to session road, SM, and bus stations. Nice staff and great complimentary breakfast at Hill Station. BUT the rooms (at least the one I stayed in) are poorly maintained.

I appreciate how they were able to restore the interiors of the place. You get to experience a piece of history in there. The food presentation was good, cooked well and flavors were top-notched! Price point may be expensive for some. But you pay for the ambiance, food and experience. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here!

There are upsides and downsides. first wifi is almost none existant it comes and goes, i guess the farther you're away from the lobby the worst it gets. And second the standard rooms are close to the road expect noises from all sort (it doesnt bother me)oh and no air conditioning or heater just open window, some room i believe they do the pricier ones. The upsides of this place is the staff, the food, massage parlor ( i recommend you try it, its cheap and well worth) and walking distance to the mall.
