I usually check where the seniors dine when I'm new in a city because that restaurant most likely has the best offerings. Luisa's Cafe is one of those places. Luisa's special mami is a must try. It's broth is perfect for the cold climate in Baguio City. But let me advise that one bowl is good for two persons. What I like most about Luisa's Cafe is the friendly and attentive staff. And also, you're surrounded by artworks of local artist while you enjoy savoring the steaming broth of their mami.

Luisa’s offers one of the best mami and siopao in town. I’ve been here a lot of times and I can say that the taste of their food is consistent. However, I hope they can improve more on their toilet. It would be good if the management can repair their washers and the cubicle. There is nothing wrong on having an old aura concept or preserving the original looks but it is also important to think of hygiene since it is a restaurant.

We only wanted to try this place coz of a certain vlog mentioning their mami was delicious. However, we were not able to order it coz we were already full with their Luisas Rice the first time we were there. So we visited again to taste this famous mami. When it arrived, we did not really check everything because they say they serve it all fresh, especially the noodles. We ate a bit, mostly the toppings, but were hesitant to continue kasi aside from overcooked yong noodles, something was off with the taste. We informed one of the servers and were expecting some explanation pero wala siyang ginawa. She did not come back to our table. We decided na magbill out nlng. Para sure, natanong ko na din sa cashier kung ganun talaga ung noodles nila. Then she said na dapat daw sinabihan namin sila para napalitan......... oh well. thanks anyway. ayaw ko na mag explain.. naenjoy ko here is the coffee lng so far

Nice homey atmosphere... Do order their kape barako, it's really strong and delicious... Along session road also, so easy to visit other tourist spots nearby

Many locals agree that you've never really been to Baguio City if you have not eaten at Luisa's Cafe. Media people are usually among the frequent customers. Food is good, service is fine, and prices are affordable. They offer breakfast, sandwiches, noodles, congee, soup, appetizers, siopao, pancit, and many more.

If you're visiting Baguio and your happens to be at the Session Road please visit Luisa's Cafe. This is one of the underrated comfort food that you can find in Baguio, I would say out of all the restaurants and cafes that i've seen at the Session Road, this one actually strikes a lot to me because of simplicity and its authenticity as they say it's old but gold. Try and you'll not regret it.

As always, the same service and food taste is offered here. Truly, one of baguio's established go-to kainan.

Food was really good for its price and location. Might be easy to miss in the bustle of Session Road. They were able to maintain the quality and taste of food they're been serving for years.

Food is mediocre and pricey. Chinese sausage - flavour is what you expect. A little bit on the pricey side vs the amount of serving. Shrimp fried rice - salty but tastes home-made. I honestly liked it. Beef brisket - do not bother. Serving is terrible, and it has no taste at all, plus it's very expensive. Siopao asado and bola bola - i don't why people order this, it's not even good. -Food is mediocre and pricey. I'm still wondering why the locals, especially the oldies, enjoy eating here? -Service is ok, nice attitude from everyone. -Atmosphere is ok, old Chinese restaurant vibes.

Tried it for the first time and it did not disappoint. Food was served fast and hot and delicious. Price is reasonable. There are also a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

Their brewed coffee was unassuming but it was the perfect taste for a cold weather. You cant go wrong with sagada dark roast. The rustic vibe of the place in the middle of session road speaks for itself. They are an institution there and No one can say otherwise. I also tried their bola bola siopao and asado mami. At first I wonder why they gave me calamansi but after I added it to the mami with the asado sauce, its definitely a game changer. I also tried their lechon kawali set meal. Its simple but filling and the taste is really good. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

If tired from artsy, classy and overrated cuisine in baguio city … we can always go back to some of the familiar and tasteful dishes 🍜 patience is a virtue during rush hour like from 5pm-7pm. #supportlocalbusiness

Authentic chinese food. The beef mami was flavorful. The serving was small though. Bola bola siopao is huuge!

Was about to order their Luisa's Special Mami but the crew said that it is big for 1 person haha so I ordered their Beef Mami instead. The taste was authentic and subtle. Will definitely go back to try other food.

Old Baguio vibe. Fantastic food. We ordered lechon kawali and asado siopao. Price is cheap, too. BUT the service.... nobody was smiling. It seemed like there wasn't really a system they were following. The servers were mean even to each other. They answer back when you ask if they got your order correct, in a mean manner, too. I would still return for the food. But just for take out. That's for sure.

This may not be the best restaurant in town but this is where media people gather, their watering hole. Should you need to talk to one, this is the place. This Restaurant is also famous for its siopao.

If you want a taste of the old baguio and this the place to be. Popular this days for fresh noodles and a place where you could see Baguio's old timers.

I’m not sure why this eatery is still being recommended; food is as old as the beginning of the pandemic, service is BLAH, and taste is BLAH. whoever is still recommending this resto like Tripzilla and all, GOD. PLEASE HAVE SOME DECENCY TO KNOW WHAT REAL FOOD IS (AND stop recommending BS!). Misleading sa gustong kumain ng maayos! Taste Sanitary Service The least. (Regardless of how big or small your restaurant is)

The quintessential media watering hole. Peeps that you might bump into are newsmakers, the famous, and the infamous. Artists also frequent this remaining Cantonese Cafe along Session Road. Where they sometimes exhibit their works or just chill with their fave writers and authors. Of course the siopao and siomai are still the kings. With freshly made noodles and other Chinese delicacies

Luisa's Cafe is found in the midst of the busy streets of Session road.. Theyre able to maintain their classic dishes and their rustic set up.. A must try.. their Wanton Mami.. And btw make sure to ask for their chilli, it compliments the soup well.. #nasanKaJJ

Just a place when you want low-budget but sulit rice toppings. Their version of 'Luisa rice' tops their menu. ☺️

Bought lechon kawali today, June 2, 2022. 1 regular order is 220 pesos (expensive for the price and it's literally good for 1 nga like what the ate said but i bought anyway coz i'm really craving for lechon kawali). The ate asked if i want it heated so i said yes but when i got home i saw onions so i called luisa's and asked and the old lady said "sinabi nyo daw i-saute". I was shocked bec i never said sauted bec i was craving for the MALUTONG NA LECHON KAWALI hay!!! Anyway, just sharing so you'll know when they asked you if you want it "heated" it means "sauted" in their part. And the old lady was not accomodating 😕. ibang iba pa din talaga ang good taste walang tatalo sa mura at lasa ng food at dami ng serving at accomodating staff 😊

👍👍 Famous for their Cream Puffs, but was not available. We had Sinigang which was really good and their buttered chicken which was okay. Service was amazing, there was a 'bot' serving the food and the service crew are always available to help. Great way to start your Baguio vacation

😠 I will be honest... the food was alarmingly terrible. I wish I were exaggerating, or had a better experience to write about.
