expensive food compared to the quantity of serving portions. Great view? yes, but I can name several other restaurants in Baguio that have similar fantastic views but with relatively cheaper prices and better tasting food options. having to go that far for lunch/dinner is not worth the effort.

We paid 6800.00 for 2 persons. hot chocolate matcha was the best part of the whole experience. Skip the soups! french onion soup and pumpkin soup parang porridge not a lot of flavor as well. Truffle pasta was cut into small lengths very unusual for pastas. Mains were average. Staff was super friendly. Summary for me. All hype food taste not worth for your buck

Amazing interiors, great vibe, good view. I'd say this place is more on the aesthetics or probably one of the top 3 restaurants in Baguio you'd want to post on Instagram. Good place for a date or something to try with your friends 'once'. The staff was very accommodating but might be too accommodating. I mean you can see them staring at you the whole time and they keep on moving stuff on your table and asking you if they can move this or get this, not giving you enough space and time to actually savour the food. Now going to the food. The food was not worth the price but I guess you're paying more for the ambience and the view rather than the food itself. We ordered the squash flower, blueberry and Gouda bruschetta, duck confit, and the 21-day dry aged rib eye. The good ones are probably the squash flowers and the duck confit. Don't bother ordering the 21-day dry aged rib eye.

A bit off the Baguio tourist path, along Ambuklao road, you will find this restaurant that has the view of Baguio mountain. We went there for lunch on a Saturday, not peak season so we did not need to get reservation. I advise you do when you go on a busy weekend or peak season. You pre-order before you get in the restaurant, you have a minimum per person to dine and a maximum of an hour and half to savor the moment. Pretty good menu selection, from vegetarian to meat lovers. No mind blowing flavor on what we ordered but will be back to try the others. Instagrammable platting, nicely presented. Probably a little pricey for Baguio but you get what you pay for. Serving is good for 2, depending on appetite. Breakfast skillet is 48 hours advance order so we will be back for this. The ambiance is relaxing, everything is well thought of and interesting. Probably no taxi going back to town so I suggest you rent a taxi if you are not driving to get here.

Highly recommended! The food was excellent and unusually the menu was concise with enough choice to satisfy most tastes. All in all a very pleasant meal. The atmosphere is very cozy, with nice design and intimate lighting, a rustic vibe. The staff are lovely, friendly and can help with the menu. The price is very reasonable too. If I lived near the area, I would definitely return regularly.

Let me start this review with the positives. Their staff is informative, courteous and caring. The view is pretty amazing, scenic. The food is good. The kitchen over cooked our ribeye, but they were quick to replace it. The Wagyu burger was too done as well, but I was too hungry to care. The french onion soup was GREAT! The squash and tomato soup, not too much. The salmon bruschetta lacked cream cheese and was different looking vs the pic in the menu. It was good nonetheless. We finished our meal with a Triple Chocolate Valrhona Chocolate Cookie. It was fine. Probably too much on the salt for me. Now for the negatives. Parking is limited. Reservation policy is to spend at least P1,500 per person. ??? Though we spent more than what was required, it was still kinda weird when a restaurant imposes a minimum spend. On top of this, it seems like the time of stay is also being limited. There were several notices thru text and at the entrance that our stay is up to 3:45 ONLY. Now, we understand that the restaurant probably wants to manage the crowd or the turnover, but imposing such is sort of a turn off. The overall feel of the restaurant is mixed. Their pricing is premium for sure, the service good, the ambience minimalist (i guess), the view amazing, the food OK. This restaurant deserves a chance. We’d visit again if they take away the min spend policy. We’d probably spend more anyway. 🙂

Highly recommended! They're very responsive and getting a reservation was a breeze. Everything was clearly explained beforehand including their minimum Php 1500/pax charge. We were required to have a Php 1500/pax reservation fee via Gcash. I highly appreciate this since by experience some people really don't value appointments, reservations or time. All the staff were very respectful, efficient and friendly. The place was afternoon sun so it was slightly hot eating inside without the Baguio breeze. The place was picturesque and view was amazing. There is a live saxophone player. Food was served very quickly. We ordered truffle mushroom soup, Mediterranean salad, truffle fries, grilled pork belly, strawberry cheesecake ice cream and toffee. Everything was delicious and worth every penny and calories. They accept credit cards and has adequate parking.

Rustic vibes. Upon arrival, parking immediately welcomes guests. A small waiting area is available where your reservation will be confirmed. A server will lead you down to the dining area where a rustic setup welcomes you. It is suggested to order and pay ahead of time. We were served with great professionalism and we enjoyed our dinner over sunset. Food is priced higher than most, but well enjoyed.

You will not expect that there is a beautiful restaurant hidden here. We were greeted by their receptionist and she explained to us about their restaurants. Since they have two; you have a choice to dine in CANTINA or THE BARN. Both restaurants have a minimum guest charge which is consumable per head. We chose to dine in THE BARN, And WOW! Rustic vibes welcomed us with the smile of staff who are very accommodating. We tried their Duck Confit and Grilled Salmon which did not disappoint, The prices are also reasonable. All in all, The barn exceeded our expectations. Will definitely come back to try their other dishes and also CANTINA! Thank you for the amazing experience!

I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place but tried it out anyway. Place was very high end not for those on a tight budget. I loved the place ... pure awesome. Great food, great service, great views. I have some really dear friends coming from abroad and am seriously thinking of bringing them there just for them to see and enjoy the place.

One of the best restaurants I've visited in Baguio. Their salads and steaks were great. The place also has an amazing and unobstructed view. They also have a small store where they sell artisan food items. Their hot chocolate is super yummy especially in cold Baguio weather. The food is a bit pricey but worth it.

Ambiance and view are the main selling point for this restaurant. If I remember it correctly, there is also a minimum consummable amount. The food is okay, service is good, but you mainly go here for the view.

The ambiance is nice. The resto's set up is beautiful. The food is pricy though for the taste, which is so ordinary.

A piece of heaven on Earth We went to The Barn just today for our 87th monthsary. Our visit was supposed to be last April for Wifey's birthday but we we're placed under locked down again so we cancelled our visit. The reservation specialist was very polite, professional, & accommodating. The response was really quick for any msg or query. The place was cozy & we really love the ambience. The killer views really took our breaths away. Wifey was very happy & satisfied. We ordered their Rib eye steak. From 3,100 it was slashed to 2,650. It was really yummy with the mashed sweet potato & mixed veggies sidings. A serving is good for sharing. We had it medium well. The meat was tender & tasty. Wifey ordered fresh strawberry slushie. We loved the chopped fresh strawberries in it. For dessert we opted for their Classic Hot Chocolate which includes 3 roasted marshmallows that you can dip in the choco mixture & some shavings of dark chocolate that you can eat or coat the marshmallows after dipping into the choco blend. Having a sip took us to memory lane when we were kids drinking a cup of hot choco on Christmas Eve. We really enjoyed the place, the food & mostly the very accommodating staffs who patiently prepared & served our food. They're also pro active in taking our lovely pics. Giving a NO BIAS rating of 5/5 Definitely a place worth visiting in Baguio A BIG thank you to The Barn_ph

4.5 stars for ambiance, 3.5 stars for food and value for money. The place is outside Baguio City so make sure to make a reservation and leave early. If you prefer to have a cozy, quiet, private meal, away from the usual queues and noisy crowd, this is one of the places to go.

Ambiance is at par with the price, but I might say it's a bit small and doesn't have enough room to really chill (specially if they are fully booked). Food is good but I cannot justify the price and the minimum fees they require specially for kids too. Overall I'd say over priced hence 3 star

You pay for the experience: an attentive staff, exclusiveness, relaxing environment, and mesmerizing views. They treat you well and even dedicate 2-3 minutes to take some pictures if you wish. The food was tasty, well presented and overall enjoyable. However for the price it did not feel "special", although it is still better than the average. Perhaps the very expensive menu options such as the Fondue or other meats (>4000php) would have that exceptional touch, but they were way out of budget. Please expect a service fee, we paid 460php for 2pax.

Better to go in the morning to enjoy the view of the mountains and clear skies. Food is pricey. I've tried better steaks with lesser price. But if you want to experience some fine dining in the outskirts of Baguio this is the place to go.

The Barn is my favorite resto. Hard to top the experience here. Food always a winner. My favorites are the cheese fondue and kurobuta platter. But I always leave room for the Japanese tonka bean cheesecake. The most amazing view. This view you can't get in any other resto in this part of the city cause its away from the crowds.

👍👍 Well worth the trip from the city proper! It’s a lovely space with a great view of mountains and pine trees. There is also a library downstairs. Tried the basil pesto pasta with tuna and the crispy lemon orange chicken. Both were yummy! The sky was clear when we visited and we were lucky to have a t...

😠 Service is quite poor, nakalimutan na nga ni crew yung order, namali pa. Took us almost an hour waiting. Food is kinda bland especially the sweet & sour pork and chicken. The atmosphere is good though.
