Rating: 5 Stars Food Selection -The Twist offers Ala Carte Meals, that are predominantly Filipino dishes -we particularly love their Beef Broccoli, Chopseuy, Beef Bulalo, Pan Fried Pink Salmon -we also love their Greek Salad, Chicken Waldorf Salad; Carbonara Spaghetti Pasta, Spicy Pomodoro Spaghetti Pasta; Grilled Chicken Sandwich; Egg Drop Soup -their desserts are limited, but we usually get the Banana Split -they also have a limited wine selection, but we can order wines from the Le Chef Menu -the serving sizes are OK & the plating of the dishes remain top notch through the years (at least, since we first dined at The Twist in 2013) -the dishes remained appetizing & satisfying -the freshness & quality of the ingredients can be enjoyed with each dish Service -we've been dining at The Twist since 2013; we usually go there at least 3-4 times a year, sometimes more, usually in groups (between 4 to 12 people in a group) -through the years, the service has remained good; waiting time is decent; staff are courteous, friendly, professional, & alert to our needs Ambience -given the location, the temperature is great coupled with the relatively fresher air -during dry season (summer), it can get a tad warm at lunch time -generally, the patrons are decent people; however, being that the location is inside a hotel lobby & open to the public, there would be times when some guests (not necessarily diners) would have noisy kids & teens/young adults in the lobby -parking is enough; if not checked in at The Forest Lodge, they allow diners to park at The Forest Lodge parking area for a PhP 50.00 fee per vehicle (as of July 2021). However, since they closed the entrance near the parking, diners would have to walk uphill all the way to the front of The Forest Lodge to go to The Twist -if taking a cab, one can be dropped off at the reception/lobby of The Forest Lodge Wish List -we wish that they open the entrance near the parking Pricing -pricing is just about right given the menu, the service, and the ambience

Great food, kinda pricey but it is understandable due to its location. I only gave it 4 stars since I wasn't entirely impressed with the service.

For the ₽600 buffet, it was okay. I think the food is great it’s just that the side of laing for the bagnet wasn’t the texture I expected. Nonetheless, the bagnet was delicious and the serving time was quick. Overall good experience!

Good food and ambiance only the price is not for everyone but to cater the upper market. I'm a regular guest here and I'm highly concerned about the hotel employee getting into my room with my knowledge while im out.

3.5 stars. This is the hotel's own restaurant but walk-in visitors can also dine in and experience the twist. The food menu is by Le Chef - a neighboring hotel restaurant. The drinks menu is by the hotel bar. It's on the expensive spectrum so be prepared. To be fair, the dishes and customer service were exceptional. We got here at around 1pm and the resto wasn't busy. You know it's bougie when every table is completely set. We immediately got a table and ordered (after the shock of the prices). We tried their chicken tinola, carbonara, and fried chicken. Adequate servings with hints of gourmet dining. Serving time was 10-20minutes.

We arrived late at the Forest Lodge to check in( around 8-9 pm) and we have no choice but to eat dinner at the hotel's restaurant named The Twist, but they did not let us down because the food was great.

Ambiance is nice. Music is pretty good. They are very much understaffed. They send OJT's to take orders and whatnot and they're not knowledgeable about the menu. The salad and oup that I've had was pretty good. But when the entrées arrived, it was just terrible. The binagoongan was just overcooked pork belly with bagoong on top. Mind you, topped. Not cooked with. The laing on the other hand, was okay. It just doesn't have any flavor. The "Yakiniku" was cooked pretty well. But the sauce ruined the whole thing. Rending the dish inedible.

Always been a big fan of Billy King, but no clue why he lets abuse his name here.

Say what you will about the limited choices and rarely updated menu... and tes, the slightly less than luxurious ambience, but then P600 for unlibreakfast that overflows with Baguio longganizas, bacon, salads, fruits, and even lunch entrees? Well-curated dishes that put a gourmet spin on everything from sukiyaki to laing to Thai pomelo salad? Something for every palate, and everything done well! If you’re lucky, there’s a lounge singer at the far end pf the lobby and on cold nights, there’s a lit fireplace. Can’t ask for more.

Marlin was ok, "spicy" ribs was good. Service was real good. Attentive crew (door to restaurant) and friendly too. Atmosphere was relaxed and not too crowded. Go to place.

Ambiance!!!!!! So relaxing. The food can be better but for convenience, especially if you're staying at the hotel, it can't be beat. Staff are friendly and attentive. And did I say, ambiance? Haha. Some orders are good for two while others are just for one so be sure to ask your waiter which is it.
