👍👍 Didn’t have opportunity to take a ride as it was crowded, it does look nice and fun. If the price is right would give it a try next time. People often mention lake, Baguio, boat, ride,

I had a wonderful time here. The boats are ok, not good and not bad, it's one way to escape crowd for a while. The water where you gonna spend your time is ok, not that good but not that bad either, glad there's no smell and that's good. I hope the Municipality of Baguio would do their best to maintain this park.

American architect and urban planner named Daniel Hudson Burnham laid the plans for Baguio City and built a man-made lake called Burnham Lake located at Burnham Park, Lake Drive, Baguio City, Philippines. A place for the family, tourist, bagpacker to enjoy a safe boat ride in this man-made lake in which boat operators earn their daily livelihood via boat rides and guided boat rides.

Paid 250 pesos for a 30-minute boat ride. There was excitement for the first 5 to 10 minutes but it slowly wore on after.

A nice place filled with memories when I was younger. Crowds are manageable and lots of things to do. Prices for activities are super affordable!

Many Baguio residents have not tried riding in the lake boats of Burnham Park because the thrill-ride is considered as just for tourists. Although many events were held here like the "Atang ti Kararua" of the Baguio Arts Guild when members led by the late Roberto Villanueva floated spirit boats as part of a ritual for the repose of restless souls by those who died and perished during the 1990 killer Earthquake. There was also a play of Phantom of the Opera staged at the lake as part of the Baguio Centennial Celebrations as well as nations convergence at the lake to dramatize the ASEAN convergence in a fluvial parade. Towards the end of 2012 and early 2013, the lake was dredged and murky silt and soil deposit were removed to make the lake accommodate more water perhaps for aesthetics and uninterrupted boating.

Burnham Lake in Baguio City is a serene and picturesque spot that offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The lake's calm waters, surrounded by lush greenery, create a tranquil atmosphere perfect for a leisurely boat ride or a relaxing stroll along the promenade. It's a lovely place to unwind and enjoy nature in the heart of Baguio.

Probably one of the touristy things you need to check out on your Baguio bucket list. Having fun for about 30 minutes by minding your own business and appreciating the surroundings which is perfect for family, couple & solo travelers. My partner & I tried this and it cost us ₱700/2pax. Foot exercise indeed!
