Much more than sushi! We stopped in at Oku because the maitre'd was on the sidewalk recruiting customers. We had the fried pork Gyoza and the wok ginger chicken over fried rice. Both were excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive, the ambiance is modern, the restrooms clean. Strongly recommend.

The truffle roll is amazing! The mango roll is also lovely. I was thinking about this food the next day. Can't wait to go back!

What an excellent surprise. I always think that you can never go wrong with Japanese food, but this place did not set the bar high, IT IS THE BAR! Very satisfied with the speed of the service and quality of the food.

WOW!! Our group of sushi lovers all agree this is the best sushi we have ever had - & that says a lot! The Double Trouble, Crunchy Tuna Truffle (omg omg) & Hamachi jalapeño were out of this world. We even had an incredibly picky eater (10 yo) in our group who said “if I could give this place 10 stars I would!” (for his fried rice & shrimp tempura). Udon dishes delicious, dessert incredible. Service was outstanding. Honestly - don’t even hesitate in going here, I can promise you will not be disappointed!

I wasn't thrilled about the idea of getting japanese in the bahamas, but the reviews were good so I didn't complain when the group I traveled with insisted on dining here. I was so glad we tried because this was one of my most favorite meals of the trip. It was incredible!! Our group ordered Udon noodles, fried rice, and 3 sushi rolls. Everything was honestly flawless. Everything down to the soy sauce.. which you can tell is freshly brewed in house. It was delicious, and even better - the staff was so friendly and fast, which is a rare find on this island!! The prices were also very reasonable compared to everything in this touristy trap part of the island!!

Being a vegan traveller, finding fresh vegan options can sometimes be a challenge. At OKU the lovely staff made us feel so welcomed. Chilled ambiance. Delicious freshly made sushi bar to delight the taste buds.

This posh downtown spot is so cool, you'd swear you were in Tokyo if you didn't know any better. The specialty rolls are unique and works of art in addition to delicious. Sit at the sushi bar to get an extra treat of watching the chefs make your meal, like using a blowtorch to barbecue your eel.

Fabulous food!! The mushroom and asparagus roll is phenomenal. I also enjoyed the shishito peppers and spicy udon noodles. Cocktails are also yummy! Good portion sizes and decent service. Would absolutely dine here again!

One of the best restaurants where we dine while in the Bahamas, we actually dine here a couple of times. Very good sushi. The Udon is great in both spicy and sweet preparations. Lychee martini was great. You should try the churros!

They use poor quality ingredients, definitely won’t be back… I had the spicy crab roll with miso soup and my husband had the teriyaki chicken. If you’ve had sushi before you will immediately know the quality is just not there. The wasabi tasted diluted, which I don’t get why skimp on such a thing especially if people will be able to tell the difference. Giving 2 stars as we were immediately seated and food came out pretty quick . Came here on a Saturday at 6:30pm after a quick drizzle outside.

Nice quaint sushi restaurant. It’s a 20 seater the hostess was very pleasant and informed us because of the size reservations on weekends are recommended. Had a strong lychee martini, their spring roll was different had cheese but was very tasty and crispy . My teriyaki chicken wasn’t all of that I’ve had better but the sushi rolls were incredible. I will definitely love to visit here again . Btw love the decor , it really gives that street city vibe and the sushi chefs prepare meals right in front of you I love that , a must visit in Downtown

My family and I found this place while walking around downtown and decided to try it for dinner. It was honestly the best sushi I've ever had, the whole family devoured the sushi. The atmosphere was great, the service was incredible, and the food was out of this world. The price was also fair, compared to everything else in the Bahamas. The dessert was also incredible. If you're in the downtown area of Nassau, do yourself a favor and check this place out, you will not regret it.
