This was by far the best thing we’ve done while staying in the Bahamas! It was such a great cultural experience. If you are in this area, please fit this into your itinerary! You will NOT regret it! We stayed at the Atlantis Hotel and did quite a bit of activities but nothing topped this! The whole experience is something our party of 22 (ranging from ages 11-73) will never forget! The staff was extremely friendly, the costumes were beautiful and the Congo line at the end was very memorable to say the least! Not to mention everything the owner does for his community. It’s admirable! Thank you!!!!

My wife and I had a fun time visiting on the Funky Jeep Tour. We had a chance to learn about the rich history of Junkanoo, as well as the humanitarian work attached to the modern tradition. We will definitely return when we get a chance, and also check out the traveling Junkanoo celebrations back home in the states.

Great people, awesome experience. We visited with our young kids, and had a really nice time. They enjoyed looking at the relics from past Junkanoo parades, and playing drums and cowbells in a little ad hoc procession. Great way to blow off some steam, and a solid introduction to an important pillar of Bahamian cultural tradition. Thanks for the hospitality!

Barbabbas and his family help run this spectacular Museum and tell the history of Junkanoo with a spotlight on their influence in it! This is a MUST SEE STOP. You will not regret stopping by Junkanoo world and having your own mini parade!! Barababbs is the most amazing man and does countless things to help support the community. He is the king of Junkanoo and is a wealth of knowledge of the culture and JUNKANOO!!

Amazing and authentic place tributing John Canoo (Junkanoo) and costumes and instruments used for the tradition of dance and music created back in time when the slaves were freed.

The tour was so personal and informative. The owner, (Barabbas) who was our tour guide showed great passion in his presentations. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour and property. He even gave me a little headpiece gift. I love it. We’ll see you in Savannah Ga. Sir.

Really cool place to visit with a large amount of history. Costumes were off the chain and be prepared to participate in a live fiesta. Our tour guide made the experience even better!
