👍👍 Visited this small art gallery in the afternoon and liked the vibe of the place so popped back for cocktails in the evening. Just a few locals socialising. Little gem near Junkanoo Beach in Nassau. The service was fantastic, the cocktails were amazing and the food was very tasty. Prices were good too considering how expensive Bahamas can get. Great customer service!

This is a small, quaint art gallery in the heart of down town on the hill. They have 3 tours a day where you can see the art work, eat wings conch fritters, rum cake and have an I introduction about Bahamian history prohibition etc. There is also a changing station for electric vehicles.

Great atmosphere, nice garden setting, friendly staff and good food. Very inexpensive compared to the average bar/restaurant in Nassau. The place has a nice art gallery as well.

They claim the best conch fritter on the island. I think it may be the best in the world.

Hillside is a really nice little chill spot that is right there on such a busy street, yet you feel completely tucked away. The drinks are quite well put together. Flavors and presentation are a pride, you can tell. It was my first time there on a day where it rained off and on so I would suggest bigger umbrellas for each table. And speaking of the table, I would not be fair if I did not mention my only real dislike. The rustic look I very much appreciated but they should look into a form of protective coating for the wood that would allow for disinfecting while cleaning. Still I absolutely had a great experience! The service was very pleasant as well. A return visit is a must. Ps... there is parking across the street and a tiny lot next door, but across the street is much more comfortable space wise.

Cool craft cocktail bar with an awesome outdoor vibe. A short walk from the main tourist strip. Don't miss checking out the art gallery.

Looking for a fun activity for girls’ night, birthdays, or any celebration? Check out Hillside Bar’s Mixology Class. We had an awesome time this weekend in a safe, private, and intimate setting. The class is $60 per person and includes three cocktails or mocktails, two tapas, and dessert. The cocktails we created were a twist on the classics and my favourite was the “Guava Thyme”. We also received a brief history on the drinks, property, and area while we mixed our drinks. Hillside Bar is in Hillside House which is the Bahamian Artist Antonius Roberts’ studio and gallery. We were able to enjoy his paintings and sculptures while we mixed drinks and socialized amongst ourselves. The tapas and dessert were tasty and served on individual plates. They made sure to ask if participants had any allergies to ensure that everyone can partake in the food. You are also able to enjoy another session at a future celebration as they switch up the cocktail and food menu every time for a new experience. If the group wishes for more tapas, more is available for purchase from their menu. Communication to book our date was good and easy (through Facebook) and the host was very accommodating. I look forward to attending again in the future.

We went here for my Sister's Bday. I loved the experience it was a chill atmosphere. Wasn't much persons there that night. It made it perfect. To he conch fritters were seasoned well liked them. Wings were basic, however the star of the show that night was there chicken loaded fries 🤤. It was great me and my sisters fought over them and we ordered a second helping. The drinks had nice flavor and the made a pitcher of passing fruit margarita and lit it and sang Happy Birthday to her. The gallery still remains open at night. It is small but there are some very nice pieces in the collection. Overall we enjoyed the night.

Great little bar/restaurant/art gallery. Bar food is tasty and reasonably priced for the area. Drinks were on point. And the art gallery is tiny but very unique and welcoming. The courtyard where they play music and serve the food/drinks is fantastic. Right next to a busy street but as calm as can be. I’m glad our Airbnb was right there so we were able to hang there multiple nights. Definitely recommend.
