This place is truly a heaven, especially in winter it becomes a different world which one can experience. Nature beauty gives you a visual treat to your eyes and makes you feel like sitting there and enjoying the weather for hours. I sat there for a while drinking tea and munching local momos, the flowing river was roaring with so much snow on it and i didn't feel like moving from there. There are plenty of shops to buy snow suits and boots.

Nothing much to visit here, but you should try and drink the water from the kund. Also there's a small bridge over a stream of river right opposite to this kund, where you can click some great pictures.

It's a mystery as to how water can be so pure, so pristine and cold. It is claimed that the water from Nehru Kund has the ability to cure you. Been there done that, I must say, the water is refreshingly pure and tasty. Glacier water is the best!

This is a small place with sweet cold water flowing through a pipe. Many people stop by to refill their water bottles and cans. It is believed that the water has many properties such as being therapeutic and helping in digestion. It is just by the road opposite the famous Hanuman Mandir on the Manali Rohtang highway.

At a distance of 5 km from Manali Bus Stand, Nehru Kund is located on Manali - Rohtang Pass Highway. The spring is one of the most popular tourist spots in Manali. The Nehru Kund is a natural spring which was named after the first prime minister of India Late Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. The prime minister loved visiting the place and drinking the crystal clear water from the spring when he used to stay in Manali. The graceful clean water spring is said to have its source at the Bhrigu Lake. The sound of the bubbling water amidst the peaceful silence of the place will play like music to your ears. The river Beas flows through it. The serenity of the place and crystal clear water of the Kund attracts the tourists who visit Manali.

This is the mysterious water source with therapeutic properties as per the locals.. there sometimes is a baba well respected for his herbal medicines and healing ability. He is out for major part of the year in search of herbs so you may not see him around when you go.. fill yourself a bottle of water or two.. most people do.. water it seems is rich in minerals.

This place used to be a tourist spot but there are hardly any visitors now. Kund is also empty, water flows through a small pipe on the side and is majorly used by small shops around or passing by local drivers to fill their drinking bottles. As it is on the way towards Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel, a passing by glance is enough.

Nehru Kund is a natural spring, which is located on the Leh-Manali highway and is 5 km from Manali city. The kund was named after Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru (first Prime Minister of India) as he used to drink water from this spring when he stayed in Manali. It is believed that the spring originates from the Bhrigu Lake located at an elevation of around 4,300 meters in Himachal Pradeshโ€™s Kullu district. The place famous among tourists, photographers and nature lovers. The lush greenery of the valley and the pristine water offer a breath-taking scenery. Nehru Kund is a perfect place to unwind and relax. The water from the lake seems to come from the Lake Bhrigu which is situated high up in the mountains which surround the picturesque area. Manali is a place famous for its stunning atmosphere and relaxing environment. The Nehru Kund also complements the surroundings with its well preserved pristine sublimity and is famous all over the country amongst all the tourists as a location to enjoy some quiet and serene time with family and friends.

This is a historical place where many visitors comes to taste the water of the Nehru kund. The speciality of this kund is you got cold water in summer seasons and in the winter you got Hot water. The nature of water is very good and you can also drink water from here. Our prime minister Pt.Jawahar Lal Nehru was also drink water from here that's why the name of this place is called Nehru Kund. Nehru kund is located as very small distance from the Manali city (Hadimba Temple). When you are going to the silong valley just look at your right side and you got this kund easily. Near the Nehru Kund a Hanuman temple where you can take blessings from the Lord Hanuman ( Bajrang Bali , Pawan Putra) . On the opposite side of this Nehru kund you can also see the Amazing waves of river Vyas ( Vyas Nadi) . You can also got Apple ๐ŸŽ trees here for taking selfies and photos and videos. Drink water from here and save your Money ๐Ÿ’ฐ.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚
