I really wanted to love this place as I'd heard great things from family and friends. We booked a weekend staycation getaway and paid peak F1 rates because of the slot that it fell in. We put our dog in boarding, packed our bags and headed to the Art for what we hoped would be a relaxing, lazy weekend. Our main goals were to order as much room service as possible and enjoy the room that we paid for and the amenities that came along with it. Upon our arrival the staff were super friendly and checked us in quickly, we had booked the grand suite and when we got to our room the phone wasn't working. We couldn't call room service, we couldn't even call guest services so we had to call externally from our phones to the hotel to ask for a replacement phone and we called at least 5 times before someone finally came 3 hours later, took the phone away, no replacement given, and we had to wait 30 minutes before it was returned to us. We couldn't relax and be comfortable as we had to wait for the phone to be fixed and that was day 1 gone. On day 2 we wanted to use the hot tub outside on the patio and couldn't get it to heat up, when we called guest services they sent someone and we were told it would take a while to heat up, after 3 hours it was still the temperature of lukewarm pee water and they were trying to convince us that the wind was wicking the heat off the hot tub and that's why it wasn't getting hot. There was a lot of back and forth about heating elements, covers and changing rooms, and we eventually gave up. Finally we went down to grab lunch and complained at the guest service desk where although they were very courteous and respectful, were also trying to convince us that it was the wind. They offered to comp us a free meal and they sent someone to attend to our jacuzzi dilemma, which miraculously by then they did manage to get it to heat up and they filled it with more water but they didn't bother to clean the hot tub and there was dirt and scum gathered in the water. That was day 2 down the toilet and by then we were exhausted, not in the mood to take them up on the free meal and by day 3 morning it was check out time. Additionally, the phone, the remote and other appliances were covered in dust and grime, that doesn't really seem befitting of a '5 star' resort. I will say this, their room service food is delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised, the resort staff are accommodating and professional. But sadly we won't get back our time or the money that we spent trying to 'relax and be lazy'.

Two start is only for their courtesy to prepare some decorations in the suite for anniversary. I had one night in the grand suite. The suite required more cleanse as the carpets clearly showing some old dirtiness. AC in the bedroom was not clean and give a bad smell. The indoor bathtub had some hair remaining and I asked them to clean it which they did. One last comment is that the floor was for non smoking and I am smelling the smoke with beer smell which is not appropriate for families. Windows were not cleaned. Breakfast was good with lots of varieties. The price for the grand suite is too high compared to the provided services.

I could not sleep here. All people and pool noises goes to the rooms. Someone smokes in hallway and we were awaken by fire alarm. There was no activities for kids in Eid. The place so boring after 7 pm. Nothing to be done here. I liked the lifeguards at the swimming pool, doing good job. The room light was bad & beds are small. Very high price in relation to room & room service is bad. No enough towels or tissue. They forget to put it & say we are busy. I don’t recommend it in any season or busy vacations.

When I want to gather my family in a comfortable and wonderful place, I choose Art Hotel as our destination. It combines the beauty of the location, the delight of the food, and the excellence of the service provided. We spent the most wonderful nights of our vacation there, and it satisfied all the members of our large and small family. With a variety of events and designated areas for each family member, I highly recommend spending the most beautiful nights in this place.

Most relaxing experience spent at the hotel. The sea view is exceptional and hotel room cleanliness was top notch. We attended a wedding there and had our dresses steamed by their room service. All staff members were extremely friendly and cooperative especially Asim from laundry services who catered to our needs.

Kids water play area is wonderful. The club suite was really amazing. We will come back again

I’ve spent the weekend at the resort with my family and kids, the hotel is kids friendly as they have water activities, play room, movie night, face painting and more for kids, as well as an easy access to the privet beach. Reception and room service was great, breakfast was really excellent and I n room dining was good. My only complaint is that in order to go in or out to the pool area you’ll have to walk all the way across the hotel, the kids had a problem with that as the AC was too cold for them as they were coming in soaking wet. I’ll add one more, the lighting in the rooms is not enough.

It's great to see that this hotel continued to even be better than previous management. It is very obvious from the hospitality, security and all forms of service. We truly had a great time overall though the spa massage used to be better. Overall its Still one of best resorts in town, with unique location, amazing sun set and great vibes.

I really loved the room, as its spacious and with a lovely beach view. The bed was comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect. Also I really liked the breakfast, as there was a big Variety of food. I especially liked the fresh juice corner where you can choose the ingredients you want. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and think it was a great value for its price.

The hotel is nice and fancy, I had a club suite, the room is big with balcony and nice ocean view, it was perfectly ready upon my check in, i did not have to contact room service for anything. The Jacuzzi on the balcony was clean and well functioning, the breakfast was nice and diverse. The gym is well equipped, the beach has many activities you can spend the whole day there. It is easy 5-star rating

A real five star ambiance. Good service. But taste of some dishes are only reasonable. Like Pasta having only macronies and pasta sauce. lights and shades combination in dinning hall is very pleasant.

The view from the room was amazing. The room was really clean with a very comfy bed. The staffs from the reception to the room service were really friendly and efficient. Great facilities, with a beautiful beach, pools and bars, thus staying solo will not be an issue, you would not feel solo.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights as a combined business conference plus leisure trip. The property is fabulous with direct and private beach access and water sports activities. The pool is lovely too. The staff are all well-intending and accommodating. The location of the hotel in relation to the rest of the city is an additional 20 minutes without traffic. The hotel in general is a perfect 4-star experience. Some areas of improvement can take the hotel to the expected and advertised 5-star experience. (1) The amenities and cleanliness of the room can be greatly improved with more attention to detail, as we had to make multiple requests for multiple amenities that should come as standard upon check-in. (2) The access to the pool and beach area is controlled in an almost militant style with strict verification of persons registered under the room versus the individuals physically seeking access, resulting in a very stressful and psychological attack for the guests due to the administration and security checks akin to airport immigration and customs. This spoils the following experience of the wonderful beach and pool facilities that you encounter once you pass this stage.

This’s by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! When we arrived the hotel lobby was like a mad house; kids were running and screaming and the lines for the check in was way too long we had to stand in the line for around 45 minutes. The hotel was very crowded but the worst thing happened during the night. We couldn’t sleep at all as there were loud noises coming from the room next to us! We heard loud laughter and loud noises and when we called for help twice they just went louder and louder! This was our entire night until dawn!

This is my first time to visit Bahrain and the hotel made it an amazing experience. Everything was great, the room was clean, comfortable spacious, the food was amazing and on top as the variety of options were great! the beach is clean and easy to access, pools were clean and well equipped, staff was friendly and helpful, the gym as well was perfect with the option to attend the group classes offered by coach Hamza whom was super entertaining as well. The experience was more than great and I would definitely come back again. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay. No complaints. Housekeeping was especially wonderful, while remaining almost invisible. Front staff were very helpful. The location, beach, and our hot tub on the terrace were highlights. Hotel facilities are lovely. Breakfast is very comprehensive. Only issue we faced was no hot water in the shower-only lukewarm at best. When an engineer came to check, we were told this was normal temperature. We were very uncomfortable whenever we needed to shower.

Nice hotel with very nice outdoor pool, kids play ground and clean beaches. The number of people taking care of the place is adequate. Everyone is smiling and willing to help. Big complement to the life guards at the kids pools and play ground, adult pools and beach. They are doing a fantastic job of keeping everyone safe especially the kids. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety and room was also large and clean. Will definitely return the next time. All request from Bell boy to Room service were dealt with very quickly. Another complement here.

Not my first stay at The Art Hotel & Resort, but my third! and it has been great all three times. Zeinab at the front desk was the most welcoming and sweet person to come by, she assisted and accommodated me at all times, and always welcomed me with a beautiful smile. Room service, concierge, and all restaurants were more than amazing, and always give me a reason to come and stay again!

Liked the pools and outside area. Clean rooms and good facilities. Services are not considered a five start hotel - Took a lot of time at check-in even though there are more than 5 employees. - no valet parking and not finding the welcoming atmosphere at arrival. - room service are always late.

We really enjoy our stay..You have a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff..All is doing their best during the Eid.. But i would like to specially mention Grace for her outstanding service!!!. Visited this hotel based on a friend’s recommendation. The room was clean but did not have enough pillows or towels for 4 people. The breakfast and brunch meals had a wide variety but nothing was above average in taste and most items were cold. The food and drinks in the pool area were amazingly overpriced and many things at the hotel were extra cost. It is branded as a resort but to use all of the amenities costs more after you arrive. Overall was fine.

Excellent location, service and choice of restaurants. The staff made all the difference as they were always friendly and very helpful. The rooms are big and the beds very comfortable but we found the decor to be too dark, almost depressing as there was insufficient lighting to see anything clearly.

A kid friendly place, it has 3 pools snd kids waterpark. Also, there is a kids club where kids can enjoy their time. The beach was nice specially the water games but the beach floor was somewhat sticky and muddy. The restaurant is so nice and the food is super with a lot of varieties. We attended the Spanish day and the vibes were amazing.

One of the best choices when you go to Bahrain. You can enjoy it with family or even as couples. Location is great. Lovely staff and very supportive. Pool area is well maintained. The beach is amazingly clean. Highly recommended.

It was an amazing experience, the hotel is wonderful with multiple kids activity, room spacious and clean, food very nice. There is one amazing staff there at the reception called Karla , she is very very helpful, professional and she knows exactly what she is doing. She helped us alot during our stay regarding the room , restaurants and facilities. She is very friendly and clever.

Firstly, I lost my glasses that were in the room and I sure that were in my room. Secondly, the cleanliness of the room is not good and needs 5 stars cleaning. It is not allowed to take any food, drinks or snacks to the beach area !!! Why I am resident in the hotel and not a visitor

Best overall experience in Bahrain hands down! The staff the amenities and the rooms are just a start. The Friday brunch and the restaurant Wu are just some of the excellent highlights offered by The Art. So well worth the visit in every way. We look forward to our next visit and being pampered in a 5 star way by this fabulous hotel! I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a class visit and a very agreeable price.

The entire staff at the Art is worth 5 stars. They went above and beyond to provide 5 star treatment to me and 42 other US personnel with the utmost patience. Sometimes having to take our bags up and down 3 times a day due to flight changes yet they never complained. They deserve awards! The cleanliness, amenities, care, attention to detail in the hotel and all of the outlets within it are TOP TIER!

We came very late for check in like 2 am but we are only allowed to check out until 1:30 pm since they told me it is friday. Though I understand their side I hope next time there should be more relax on check out time. The room is good for one large bed and two twin bed but I notice like there is a dirty rag left maybe by the cleaner and there is like stain on the comforter which I notice late. But overall my stay is great. It is actually expensive comparing to 5 star hotel I experience in my own country. I hope they improve on cleaning the room. The hotel amenities are great. Pool area and bar are great. I hope I have come earlier.

I stayed for 2 weeks at this resort, great facilities with entertainment for all group ages in a very calm area of Manama, close to airport, restaurants. Staff super friendly and paying attention to details. Food is great, pool and beach area with enough space even if hotel is at full capacity. Amazing views from all room as I visit other room from our group. Congratulations to all the team.

Special shout out to Shamim (I think it was his name as a person after him threw away my note - the only one although I had several ones, where I noted down his name and purpose). It was a lovely young man from Bangladesh who cleaned the room number 123 on the 7th of November 2023. He cleaned my room while I was working. Did not disturb me at all. He proactively unpacked my shoes put them on a towel. Cleaning was excellent and as a surprise he made for me a Penguin out of towel and even made eyes for him with paper and pen - I kept him next to my bed until I left. It was the loveliest thing any cleaning personnel has ever done for me. I hope to come back one day and meet him in a higher position in this hotel. He had an outstanding customer oriented attitude!!!!!

Absolutely lovely place to stay if visiting Bahrain. I’ve stayed over 6 months last year and love it. Amazing friendly staff in every department, great choice of restaurants, all rooms with a sea view and great facilities. I’d especially like to thank Muzammal and the concierge’s for all their help and Grace and the reception team for being amazing, look forward to many more months there.

The location: is on Manama, a beautiful area, with restaurants around and coffee shops for awesome breakfast. The hotel: indeed the staff is well trained, great customer service. The hotel itself is high class, beautiful design, great facilities and all the rooms have beach view. There is a private beach with swimming pools and access to the sea. There is a bar/restaurant on the beach with an area for adults only and a jacuzzi. The sunbeds on the beach are coming with sun umbrellas. The beach is closing at the sunset, even though, you can still use the swimming pools afternoon if you wish so. Price: is a good value for the quality you will receive. Staff: very polite and well trained, from the receptionists, to the chambermaids and beach staff.

We loved everything about the Grand Suite. We loved everything about the staff. We feel that the hotel was not built with the elderly and handicapped in mind. We thought the internet should have been better for the was weak and should have been much better since we paid a lot for the room. Nonetheless, we totally had the best time ever. The good outweighed the bad and we will most certainly go back.

Incredible experience. We will be coming back no doubt. The Art has an amazing ambience from the moment you walk in. Dreamy place to stay. Our main reason to pick The Art is their views floor to celling windows. We stayed in a beautiful corner suite on 9th. floor with VIP lounge access {due all regular rooms were booked for the night}. We received 5 star service from the moment to enter parking , where we were welcomed by Shiva and he took care of us so well. Great service followed by stuff at the reception desk. We have been served immediately with smile even it was late evening at that moment, they went an extra mile and checked us in, in a stunning suite with a beautiful view. Room was sparkling clean thanks to your housekeeping crew, they were doing amazing job during our all stay. We had an opportunity to enjoy VIP Lounge on 10th, floor and being served by Jian {hopefully correct spelling, please excuse me if not}. Also lovely experience with 5 star service. We spend majority of our time by the pool, which was clean, neat and it was close to bar and again we received great service from the stuff from the pool bar. Thank you again ALL Team from The Art Hotel for unforgettable short beach holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was delicious with many options. The beach and swimming pool are very nice and clean. The hotel is family friendly.

The facilities of the hotel were very nice and friendly overall. The staff from front desk was very professional, Mr. Hadi was the best person and face to deal with in checking-in. The room and extra bed for our guest was very comfortable. Beach, swimming pool and music was very good. Only prices of the drinks in the bar were slightly expensive. Note: nothing to do at night all facilities closed such as hoka shop, bar and lounge.

The place is really nice and big. The staffs are friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast was really good too and the filipina attendant even informedus of the hotel promo. The room was clean and spacious not to mention the view. I'm definitely coming back when the weather is not too hot

Great experience, enjoyed the private beach & pool. Very clean facility, breakfast buffet was thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend. I advice to add basic amenities for the washroom and have more restaurant options. Overall it was nice and family friendly.

Everything is perfect, I really loved the fresh juice in the breakfast, usually its just juice, but here they made it for me, big game changer. The place is very comfortable and wonderful. The shower room at the beach is missing hair dryers, and the TVs didn’t connect to youtube, but other than that it was amazing

The hotel is way too noisy! We checked in for two nights over the weekend and got no sleep. 5 star hotels don’t usual have rave parties that go on until 2/3am and we were not advised of this upon check in, nor were we advised that we should take a room on a higher floor to avoid the noise. The wi-fi is so patchy that it was difficult to send a WhatsApp most of the time we were there. The new check in system is unnecessarily long and drawn out. The breakfast is below average and most of the staff serving have poor English, look disheveled in appearance and were slow. It was also freezing in the breakfast room because the AC was way too high. There was no coffee in the room or body lotion in the bathroom and the iron was broken. We were so annoyed and tired that we checked out by 7:30am and asked to speak to a manager to express our frustration. He was reluctant to offer any apologies or compensation but promised he would call back when he spoke to his GM. We have received no call or compensation for this terrible experience which just adds insult to injury and sheer disregard for their customers. The only person that was of any addition was the hard working waiter, Komata that worked by the pool/beach area. He was exceptionally good at his job. As for the rest, stay away from this hotel as there are many others that will appreciate your custom as the Art hotel certainly won’t!!!

Best place to be in Bahrain! Great restaurants and amazing pools/beach. Live bands on the weekends and customer service is fantastic.

The place is very nice, but the management is terrible. The reception failed to check us in due to “room key problems”. Whenever we wanted to enter our room we had to call the housekeeping. The reception and the management did not handle the problem for the whole 3 days.

I love it especially the beach and the swimming pool 😍😍😍 as for the services, I forgot my favorite 3 diamond rings from my last stay and they found them and kept them for me till come again …. And here we are AGAIN :) Thank you Art Hotel ..

Excellent place!! I spend the weekend their and had a good time. Clean, comfortable rooms with great view. The service was fast and the staff was professional. Great place for families with children. They have pools for children and a playground. The beach was clean and the water was nice also. Many restaurants options!

Our fav place for staycation...especially, the suites...love the ambience and the kids waterpark. Must stay...if you r a fan of indian food try Copper Leaf for the yummy food.

My birthday gift from my wife I stayed in the Grand Suit beautiful see view from the terrace with a jacuzzi. Great room service, the staff are friendly and the food was great

King room bed was not a king, definitely a queen and room service was severely over priced. Room was too small for the price as well. Definitely recommend another place to spend this type of money.

We had a great night there, the breakfast was amazing and the staff are good. The rooms need little more privacy as when it is quiet you can hear through the walls 😶

Grand suite was really nice specially the jacuzzi .. i like the front desk staff they were nice and helpful.. check in takes some time .. but check out was really fast .. pool and beach staff some of them was rude .. breakfast was normal as they served in rooms .. the view from the room is wonderful..

It was a crazy day and I loved how family friendly the place is. Totally recommend for families with kids to enjoy their time and specially the kids pool. A must visit.

Overall is good to stay and use the beach and pool facilities. But the service needs to improve, some staff need more training on communication with customer. Mustafa working in the reception is very helpful .

The Art Rotana is a wonderful hotel with great events. The highlight of our visit was the amazing Italian chef that they have. His name is Chef Theo and he really took care of me and my wife personally while we were there to make sure the food was yum and tailored to our needs. We will continue to return because of the great customer experience that he provides. The staff were friendly and the hotel including the management and views are great!

The building itself has the potential to be a 7 star hotel but the operating agency made it worth 2 maximum.. we paid around 1120 BHD = more than 11100 SAR for 4 nights to get the following: 1- We arrived at the first night after a long road trip and waited in our car around 15 minutes. There were no one to help us with luggage it looked like a ghost hotel with nobody around. I had to step out of my car to ask the receptionist to send someone to help us and if i didn’t i might wait more 2- The outdoor area of our suite was dirty including the Jacuzzi (toooo dirty) with stinky water which they didn’t change i believe after the previous guest.. you can see alot of things floating on the water and they admit they didn’t clean it when I ask them to come and see. They took more than 2 hours in cleaning and filling it with clean water. Because of that I am questioning the cleanliness of the whole rooms and the disinfection process after each guest 3- For the In room dining, The guys who brought the food they don’t bother themselves arranging the food on the table in a proper way.. they just offloaded their trolley table on your table and you help yourself out. 4- Hot water suddenly stopped working. I had to call them and waited for the engineer to come and waited until they fixed it. This is a sign of the carless maintenance they are doing. I will never repeat the mistake of staying at this place.

Nice rooms, welcoming lobby and beach facilities are great. For a five stars hotel I’d expect valet service. Our minibar was not stocked up and some some items were missing. The service team took a whole day to get us the iron, slippers and dental kit. Overall enjoyed my stay

The Art Hotel and Resort is an excellent place to spend holidays. Moreover, It has sandy beech and children play area. You can enjoy all type of sea rides.

I love this place every time I am in BAH. Very friendly management and staff. Infrastructure very clean and well maintained. Excellent food, beverages and entertainment/atmosphere, even during tough Corona pandemic times.

This hotel is one of the best hotel I’ve ever seen, amazing view from the rooms, wonderful beaches and swimming pool. Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy, the breakfast was good and they served good quality of coffee. I recommend this hotel if you at looking to relax, but if you need malls and shopping this one is faraway form all shopping areas. Unfortunately, I forget my charger when I packed my stuff, and when I send a friend to ask about it they couldn’t find it, which is weird and unacceptable in a five star hotel, I also struggledwith the Wi-Fi connection it was slow and unstable.

I stayed for 2 days.. everything was amazing starting from airport pickup through room services and meals and ending by the drop off.. Special thanks to House keeping teem and rooms services under the supervision of Mr.Mohamed who was so helpful and friendly..

Beautiful service. Laundry was always ready the same day, all very clean and tidy. One of the best breakfast I’ve even seen. Beautiful room view on the beach and the port. Compliments .

I had a wonderful time at the Art Hotel. I highly reccomend staying there. Great pools to relax around and in. Lovely beach access. Kids had a nice time in the kids pool and mini water park. Very self contained, and not lacking in amenities. Resturants, Night life, live entertainment, Spa, Hair saloon, friendly and helpful staff. Spent several wonderful days there for our wedding anniversary (with our kids too!)

Since it became the art, and it’s becoming very low standard. The hotel is smelly , the hotel is not clean, toilets are very dirty, staff are ignorant, they have zero customer service. The NYE was such a nice event. The venue, the production, thanks to the Hotel for an unforgettable moment and experience. Thanks to the staff in Rosso restaurant, the Choices restaurant, the Wu Lounge, the ballroom, the Choices Terrace, every corner of this resort will take a place in your heart.

The hotel location and view are good. We booked a room with breakfast, however due to covid, the buffet was cancelled and they sent the breakfast to our room. Portions were so small; Bread was old, scrambled eggs were really bad, same for granola and coffee. Staff needs to be trained. Bad wifi connection, super slow. They don't meet the 5 stars expectation.

Our original Rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. Moved to another two rooms, they also smelled like cigarette smoke. Customer Service is the worst I’ve ever experienced at a hotel.

I stayed at this hotel in 2017 and it was so much different (better) than now. if you’re looking for the full experience I don’t recommend this place. Everything looks old, the rooms are not so clean, the check in process took forever. I had to change the room twice due to strong unpleasant smell and each time the rooms are too hot when you check in (obviously they are saving cost). The ocean view is not clear because of the window glasses that have not been cleaned for I guess more than a year (even during the day it was not humid and was not clear). anyways if you had a good. Experience before don’t come again and ruin the memories.

Very nice hotel. Room was well proportioned. Shower is large. My room attendant, Dipankar, was great. Always did a great job and was super helpful and nice. He even made an animal out of towels. Very creative. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area.
