My wife and I spent two weeks at Recif Attitude last month. A fabulous introduction to a wonderful island. Very friendly and attentive staff, comfortable rooms (we had a beach view), great food and drink. I recommend the street food “truck”, some lovely things to be had from there. Thanks Warren and everyone at Recif Attitude for a perfect holiday!

Overall not a great hotel for Indians who are looking for Indian Food. My parents travelled to this hotel recently for their marriage anniversary & we booked this hotel from Makemytrip & they had a nightmare staying here as they didnt get anything to eat in Veg Indian Cuisine. I contacted their management & they did try from their side but nothing which could make my parents trip memorable. Imagine starving on a vacation for 7 days. Overall with the amount of money we paid , we could have stayed in a 5 star property by paying 25-30% more so if you are looking for indian food and big hotel then this is not for you.

Overall we had a good stay there. Food variety was very limited. Moreover lack of attention to details, did not wish guests happy birthday despite handling ID card upon check-in and even on the voucher it was mentioned.

It was a very nice place for our Honeymoon, The service was excellent, the food was excellent and the room was excellent so I will definitely recommend Recif Attitude Hotel. The Hotel was in-between Port Louis and the next small town which is where Mont Choisy beach is, it was a nice little motorcycle ride to and from between the 2. We also enjoyed the time at the Hotel by the pool and the bar area and you can choose to Snorkel in the ocean if you'd like as well.

One of my most favourite places, and definitely most favourite on Mauritius. Been there 2011 and 2018. Such a beautiful location and always had great experience with the staff as well, very welcoming. Beautiful hotel-owned beach with palms and great rock formations for snorkeling right there. The rooms are decently sized, the beds comfy and the bathrooms very clean. The restaurant is really good as well, a good mix of local and international menus. There's an infinity pool - and one of the most amazing ones, such a great view especially at sunset. Just a few minires walk up north and you're at the next beach.

Good hotel. Great service for the money spent... no shops next door (small shop on site) nearest shops a bus or taxi tide away... easy to get to Port Lewis and other locations defo worth a look..

Pathetic behavior of staff ! We booked our trip reading the good reviews. But however everything turned into disaster after reaching there. As we were about to enter the hotel our driver mentioned, the staff never welcomes the guest. After 10 mins we see the receptionist lady come and greet us with not even a faint smile on her face. We were offered a welcome drink after 40 mins of our arrival as she was scanning our documents which took forever . We emailed them previously to offer us a room with a better view but we were placed in a garden view room, though partially the ocean could be viewed. She was commanding us “hey you get what you pay “ You didn’t pay for the ocean view room- you don’t get it !!! Since our booking was through Make My Trip that Option of the room was not available and so we had to email them. However it was of no help ! It was my birthday on the 7th and we requested to see if anything for the room could have been done we were even ready to pay any additional amount for a room with a better view . However nothing was done . She even snatched my passport to make sure if it was my birthday or not or if I am faking. Extremely disappointing!!! Indians should stay away as we felt they being extremely mean and treat you as negligible in front of other guest and European guest. As we were the only Indians during our stay. We were asked to carry our water bottle from the room to drink water during dinner or breakfast … as a hotel staff mentioned that the bottled kept at the dining area are special bottles. “ however let me say it - I SAW THEM FILLING SAME DRINKING WATER IN THOSE BOTTLES which we were refused to be given. The rooms were never cleaned properly same towels would be folded and kept again for use. Extremely bad food sane menu gets repeated again and again. The only good thing we did was that we never stayed entire day at the hotel as we had activities everyday to do and we enjoyed our trip to the fullest when we were outside the hotel. We used to leave early and at times not have dinner at the hotel and have it outside as the food was pathetic. Also to mention the day before we were to leave Mauritius we went to the reception to check if we could be offered a late checkout as our pick up was scheduled at 5.30 pm . We were happy to see few European couples offered late checkout as they were leaving the hotel around 5 to 5.30 pm . The same lady at the reception was there and she was like come tomorrow at 9.30am and we will let you know hopefully you should get it . We expected that our stay was bad . But maybe they will give us a sweet memory at the end but in the morning there were two men at the reception completely ignored us to even stay till 12pm . They were asking us to vacate at 11.15 am as they had a guest arriving for the room we were staying . Out of the two men at the reception one men was not even looking at us and treating us like we are not even a guest of the hotel. However we decided to leave the place sharp at 12 and we enjoyed our time discovering beautiful places of the south and head to the airport. The only person out of the hotel staf was Vinay - he is a chef from the hotel I believe he was so sweet and if I would carry a little memory of le- Reciff it will be him. Otherwise Veena from reception and the other two men I don’t remember their names - request you to change your attitude . Be equal towards all guest . Attitude is a good chain- don’t spoil its name . People tend to come back to a place for the treatment and Behavior they get during the stay. Because of you guys I would never in my wildest dream ever come to stay here again . Hope my review helps!

A fantastic local boutique hotel. We wanted something smaller than the usual large resorts, and a good base to go out and explore the island. It was adult-only which was brilliant, and just a beautiful spot to relax. The part of the coast where the hotel is situated has a marine park so you can borrow a snorkel and see some wonderful fish in the clear waters. Don't forget to pack water shoes to save your feet on the coral! The food was always fresh and served with a smile - plenty of options. And on some of the evening there was some entertainment. The spa treatments were also really pleasant. We had the beach-view rooms and it was lovely to be able to step straight out to the pool and beach. It's a great location for anyone wanting the best sunsets on the island, mixed with being able to go up to Cap Malheureux for diving, and also down to La Morne area for dolphins and mountains. The bathrooms could benefit from some renovations but other than that, it was all brilliant. Main recommendation would be hiring a car if you want to explore - it is very inexpensive and there is plenty of parking at the hotel.

Really authentic and romantic place. The service was top quality. We went to celebrate 25th anniversary and the staff was really helpful with arranging a ceremony and the celebration itself. It started with a relaxing couples massage with qualified staff. The weeding planner Matthew was really passionate about his work and creating a memorable experience for us. Thank you to all of the staff at Recif Attitude for making our trip very special and memorable.

Olimme häämatkalla tässä hotellissa 2.-12.9.2023. Ilmeisesti matkatoimistomme ei ollut tätä kertonut, sillä vieraille, jotka olivat häämatkalla täällä järjestettiin ilmeisesti erityispalveluita/alennuksia. Meillä oli huone merinäköalalla. Huone oli erittäin kaunis, mutta haisi jatkuvasti ummehtuneelle. Sänky oli järkyttävän kova. Tyynyt tosin todella pehmeät ja tilaa omille tavaroille todella paljon. Kylpyhuone oli tosin todella ahdas lavuaarin ja seinän väliin hädintuskin mahtui. Iso plussa oli hotellin alueelta löytyvät vesilähteet joista sai puhdasta juomakelpoista vettä ja pullon sai käydä täyttämässä ilmaiseksi niin usein kuin tarvitsi. Outoa oli se, että vedestä joutui maksamaan illallisella. Näköalat olivat upeat, auringonlasku näkyi suoraan meidän terassille ja turvallisuuden tunteesta ei ollut pulaa. Ranta ja hotelli olivat todella rauhallisia, ranta ei itsessään ole uimista varten, mutta hyvä snorklaamiseen ja kahlaukseen. Hotellin boat jousesta sai lainata snorkkeleita ja kanootteja, kannattaa hotellin ohjelma katsoa qr koodin takaa, sillä tajusimme toiseksi viimeisenä päivänä katsoa Viihde osiosta, että rannalla on myös ilmainen lasipohjavene ja snorklaus matka. Ruoka oli keskinkertaista, pannacottaan ja kattiloissa olevaan kalaan petyimme kerta toisensa jälkeen, pannacotassa oli liikaa liivatetta, jonka vuoksi se oli hyytelöäkin kovempaa, kattilassa oleva kala oli aina kuivaa, jonka vuoksi suosittelen hakemaan suoraan kokilta ruokaa mitä ikinä hän siellä paistaa. Palvelu oli hyvin ystävällistä ja avuliasta, hotellin aulan seinältä löytyi bussiaikataulut ja taksien hinnat. Miinusta tulee siivouksesta, pyysin useaan kertaan vaihtamaan huoneen astiat käytön jälkeen, eikä niitä ilmeisesti ikinä vaihdettu, huuhtaistiin vain (hanavedelläkö?). Huoneiden ovella voisi olla kynnysmatto johon pyyhkiä hiekat jaloista. Sain huoneen minibaarista sähköiskuja (en tiedä miksi) ja ilmastointilaite toimi huonosti automaatilla, coolilla ja fan modella toimi noin 20min, jonka jälkeen ilmoitti EC, toimi jatkuvasti ainoastaan dry modella. Hotellissa sijaitsee myös Spa Poz, jonka henkilökunta on aivan ihana ja hoidot hyvin rentouttavia. Lähin kauppa sijaitsee 700m päässä Super M, ja noin 2km päässä Mini Max, josta saa myös matkamuistoja ja aurinkovoidetta. Yleisesti ottaen hotelli sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla kaukana turistirysästä ja bilepaikoista. Oma ranta, tuolit ja uima-allas ovat myös plussaa ja syy, jonka vuoksi hotellin valitsimme.

Went to the hotel this weekend for my birthday and spent a really nice time at the hotel. I will highly recommend a stay there. It's always said first impression is the last and we were very overwhelmed and touched by the way the staffs greeted and welcomed us. They are all very helpful and polite. I don't recall the names of all the staffs but special thank you to Mr vinesh and nilesh. Even the barman was very humble. Food was also nice.. Thank you for making my birthday a pleasant one.

Huge thanks to mainly Rinku and Adesh for treating us so friendly and helping us with arrangements. Rinku helped us with making our stay so entertaining and finding us activities. This enabled us to see so some of the beauty of Mauritius. Also thanks to all the restaurant team to be so welcoming and chefs for the marvelous cuisine every day! This was a stay to remember! We look forward to come back when the premises get rebuilt from ground up and hope to see some familiar faces once again.

Really pleasant adults hotel for a relaxing stay. It's not crowded. The beach is fine for sunbathing, reading a book and watching local fishermen angling and the fabulous sunsets. It has a reef only a hundred yards out and we went snorkeling to watch the amazing tropical fish. The other highlight was the cookery course by one of the chefs (Amith) for a tasty local tuna dish. Sue really enjoyed the cooking and I enjoyed the result.

Awesome time at the recif attitude. If you want to chill out in a calm and serene atmosphere, this is the ideal place. It's an adult only hotel so no doubt it's very peaceful. The hotel is small and cosy, ideal if you want to have everything on hands .. Pool, restaurant, bar and spa. The highlight of the hotel is its staff who were extremely welcoming and helpful. The food is not the most amazing but it's value for money considering the setting in which we had lunch. Highly recommended place..

Had a most wonderful holiday in April and cannot wait to go back. Perfect sunsets, amazing pool and on the beach. My barmen were awesome! Knew exactly what we wanted. Staff super friendly. I do think however that they will have to work on their menu but I never went hungry. Relaxed holiday at it's best. Nothing was too luch trouble and every night was a different theme. Thank you. A fantastic hotel with incredibly kind and attentive staff, especially Roy who was most helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with amazing views and the food in the restaurant is varied and delicious. This is the perfect place for a restful adults only holiday!

Staffs are friendly and attentive to demands. Food did not wow us because we had to leave hotel to eat outside at night. Room and surroundings need major improvements. The main assets of the hotel is the Staffs as they're friendly and down to earth even when they look tired. Le Recif can do better. Maybe work on the infrastructure.

Fantastic value for money boutique resort. Special thanks to Matthieu and the rest of the warm and helpful people on reception, to Sajid and his Housekeeping team who kept the rooms and resort always neat and tidy, our wonderful server Livesh who made sure we were taken care of at mealtimes and lastly to their super taxi driver Shaffick who made every daytrip smooth sailing. Beautiful views from our beachfront room and a lovely private little beach with abundant coral and fish for snorkeling. The evenings had a variety of live entertainment and we had a truly relaxing stay.

I would like to thank all the dedicated staffs who took care of us for our stay in the hotel from 06/0/2021 to 20/05/2021. Those staff deserve respect and our congratulations for the job they are doing. Keep it up.

Its with great pleasure and satisfaction that am leaving the hotel tomorrow. I want to thank the so friendly and aux petits soins staff namely Neha, Vinesh,Wesley,Sanjay, and the other staffs whom i dont know their names. The word *NO* is prohibited in their vocabulary!! There is always a solution n always ready to help. Keep it up guys. The only setback is my room 135. The paint n the furniture need to be refeshed. Went here for a 10year anniversary and couldn't have been happier.

I’ve been there with my husband in February. I keep so many gorgeous memories from this place, it was wonderful. I was first impressed by the garden: green, well maintained and the beautiful, relaxing songs of hundreds of birds:) the ocean view from the restaurant was amazing. The staff was friendly, gentle and smiling:) The room was small but well equipped, because of the high humidity it had a machine for moisture extraction. We appreciated that. The only recommendation that I would give is about the food. It would be better if there was more fish in the menu. Also most of the main dishes were not our taste but this is a really small issue, everything else was great and we will miss Mauritius and the great people there! Thank you so much!!!

Situated in a quiet area on NW of island. Hotel good for r & r. Overlooks beach area, small area for swimming. Staff friendly and very helpful. Good variety of food. Boat trips available. Infinity pool, with adjacent rooms.

My wife and I had the most beautiful and relaxing days at Recif Attitude! After one and a half years of lockdown we were the very first guests. We were overwhelmed by the warm welcome and the stunning hotel, view, beach and great staff. Warren (Hotel Manager), Varsha, Mathieu, Takeshwaree, Lavesh, Veeren, Gawin, Sanjay, Anousha, … (we wish we could call all the names of people in service) treated us like family, every one of them was kind, always friendly and ready to help. We stayed a whole week during Diwali and it never got boring. Breakfast & dinner keep changing - you can eat at different „restaurants“ and the buffet varied every evening including international and local creole kitchen. Live music, local dance performers (Diwali) rounded up the evenings. The rooms are clean and offer everything we expected and needed. Yet we spent most of the time out at the beautiful beach, which offers comfy free sunbeds and a lagoon surrounded by wave breakers. Just a few meters into the water you have a gorgeous coral reef for snorkeling! You can rent mask and fins at the hotel‘s boathouse. To the East of the Hotel lies Triolet, a small town filled with local shops (also bank, atm, and a telecom store to get your SIM card). P.S.: the Hotel’s free WiFi works even at the beach! Further east you can easily reach the Pamplemousses National Garden - a guided tour costs under 2 euro - go for it! To the North you can get to Trou aux Biches within few minutes by Scooter or Taxi. This place is packed with diving centers to choose from. We‘ve had a great time with Pro Divers 🤙! Further South the Grand Baie and Cap Malheureux also are worth a while. To the south lies the capital Port Louis, we checked the waterfront and the local market - but to be honest, that’s the kind of places we came here to escape from ;). We are now moving south to start our trip around Mauritius but plan to come back in the end for some more relaxing days @ Recif Attitude! 🌴 P.S.: Try the „creation“ Cocktails at the bar - loved every one of them! Very cozy hotel, friendly staff, good food. Love the Taba J concept. Perfect place to chill. Can easily spend a few days there to relax.

We went for a vacation during June 2019 and our stay at the hotel was awesome. Me and My wife enjoyed the beach view and the romantic ambience especially during the evening. The food at the restaurant is really great. The employees are really friendly and they really care for the guests' comfort and convenience. On the first day when we arrived, we had to go out quickly and we had made a mess trying to unpack our things in urgency. When we came back, we were shocked to see the room became neat and clean. The workers went above and beyond to clear the mess we have created and I am really grateful for the same. If I have to visit Mauritius again, I would definitely book the same hotel :)

We enjoyed the hotel & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The food was great as I'm a very fussy eater so well done to the chefs. The beach was peaceful but very little space to swim as there are plenty rocks & broken coral. First hotel I've been to where they don't have coffee for you in the room (bit disappointing). The bar wasn't expensive at all which was a bonus, many Pina Colada's & Mojitos were had. Improvements need to be made on the massages, wasn't worth the money we paid. Overall was a lovely experience.

Thanks Mr warren for providing us the assurance that we will surely have a good time at Recif. Indeed this hotel is perfect. Recif crew genuinely worked for that 3 stars plus. The view is really amazing. From the food to the staffs especially Mr Rajiv the cook his superlicious pastas and grilled fish was the best. (capitain fish👍) Mr Donovane at the reception has been very clear on all the instructions upon our arrival. We stayed 2 nights and felt really sad to leave. We have had a late check out with room service which i believe is not provided in many hotels. We were on full board basis and indeed we were full all the day 😉 without doubts. Dinner was varied and different on both days. We needed another blanket and our demand was instantly executed. It was also really nice to see how the maintenance and housekeeping paid attention to all details as soon as a client left the room. Plenty of activities are provided and we didnt have time to get bored. There is no difference between mauritian and tourists, we felt overwhelmed by the smile of every staff, the warm welcome from the reception(2 ladies i couldnt remind their names) . We met some tourists who were very friendly and had nice time too. We had the opportunity to see how a simple but beautiful wedding of a tourist couple was organised by the hotel which took place on the beach. Beautiful typical mauritian sega and a nice guitarist provided a great ambiance on dinner nights. Some Sweets that we enjoyed was the cheesecake at dinner, the morning pineapple jam and the crumble whipped cream pineapple and coconut cream. MARVELOUS. The negative reviews on this platform feared us at the beginning which honestly i understand, tastes and preferences varies but hats off again to Mr Warren for his instant reply and assurance. We spent days and nights in many hotels around the island, some were poor some were very good but for those looking for a calm, cosy and rejuvenating place I will categorize Recif attitude as highly recommended and great value for money. Thank you again Recif Attitude people. 👍 ( To my fellow Mauritian friends let us preserve this gem when in there, we shall all benefit and enjoy a continuous marvelous service like this🙏 thank you)

It is an amazing hotel with a very kind staff. We got a wonderful room with a stunning ocean view. The hotel area is so quite and peaceful and the beach is clean and very nice. We admired the possibility of snorkeling in front of the hotel - wonderful reefs and fishes. It is not so good for swimming, but you can swim in a nice infinity pool. We also appreciate the tea bar with many different types of tea and great food. Thank you for the amazing stay in your hotel!

We had a lovely stay in this hidden gem! The hotel has such a relaxed vibe. We love the decoration and the design of the resort. Amazing view on the beach specially at sunset. There's a game room with a pool table, which we enjoyed when it was raining. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The only thing that can be improved is the buffet. It should have more variaty, but it's understandable as it is a small resort. We had a bit of stains on the sheets and towels and the room wasn't perfectly clean as there was a bit of filth in the corners. The bed is also a bit hard. Regardless of that we still had an amazing stay.

I was fortunate enough to do my 2 weeks quarantine at Le Recif. The staff was exceptional and the food was great. You guys made my 2 weeks quarantine very pleasant and relaxing. The sunsets are one of the best I have seen so far. I highly recommend people to give the place a try once it opens up to the public.

We stayed at Recif Attitude Hotel for a week in June 2022 (bed & breakfast only). The staff was very friendly and helpful and tried hard to reach someone at the airport for the whereabouts of my delayed suitcase. The breakfast was ok, with freshly made waffles, crêpes, omelette, and fresh fruit, but otherwise little variation (in terms of cheese and ham options). If you like a hearty breakfast it will be right for you ;) The rooms are mostly beachfront or right at the pool, which is very nice. At night it is quiet and live music does not play overly loud, but gives a nice touch to the ambience. We enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon, where you can see lots of different fishes that you see whilst diving, too (e.g. lionfish). Some other guests where surfing. We consider coming back again in the future :) Thanks for the relaxing stay!
