जाको राखे साइयां, मार सके न कोय' 🙏 When people rush toward their hectic schedules, they lose interest in all of the things that make our lives so wonderful! The colour white is used everywhere, forcing you to maintain your thoughts tranquil and at ease. This is a space for everyone, for those who believe in the power of blessings and for those who lack it in their lives. Every human being should come here! You will develop a more positive outlook and think more positively. I highly urge you to attend at least once if you are heartbroken, and you will be able to restore your capacity in any way. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

TAKHAT SRI HARIMANDIR JI PATNA SAHIB is considered the second holiest Takhat. Revered as the birthplace of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, it is one of the five seats of temporal authority of the Sikhs and has been consecrated by three Sikh Gurus. The construction of the takht was commissioned by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the 18th century to mark the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh. Peaceful environment 🙏✨

Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji, also known as Patna Sahib, is a significant Sikh shrine located in the city of Patna, Bihar, India. It holds immense historical and spiritual importance for Sikhs worldwide as it is the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru and the founder of the Khalsa Panth. The shrine stands as a testament to the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who was born at this very place on December 22, 1666. The Gurdwara, constructed in his honor, is an architectural marvel that attracts pilgrims and tourists alike. The construction of Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji began in the 18th century by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who sought to commemorate the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The Gurdwara stands in the middle of a spacious courtyard, exuding a sense of peace and tranquility. The complex comprises various structures, including the main shrine, a sarovar (pond), langar hall (community kitchen), and residential quarters. The architecture of Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji is a blend of Sikh and Mughal styles. The main building, adorned with intricate marble work, showcases beautiful frescoes and paintings depicting scenes from Sikh history and the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The dome of the Gurdwara is crafted in the style of Mughal architecture, symbolizing unity and inclusiveness. One of the most sacred areas within the complex is the sanctum sanctorum, where the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism, is placed. Devotees gather here to offer prayers, seek blessings, and immerse themselves in the divine ambiance. The sarovar (pond) holds great significance in Sikh tradition. Pilgrims take a dip in its holy waters, believing in its purifying properties. The langar hall serves free meals to visitors irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, embodying the Sikh principle of seva (selfless service) and equality. Throughout the year, Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji hosts various religious events and festivities, attracting a multitude of devotees from around the world. Celebrations such as Guru Nanak Jayanti, Guru Gobind Singh Ji's birth anniversary, and other Sikh festivals are observed with great fervor and devotion. The Gurdwara not only serves as a religious center but also stands as a symbol of Sikh heritage and culture. It preserves invaluable relics and artifacts associated with Guru Gobind Singh Ji, including weapons, clothes, and manuscripts, providing visitors with insights into Sikh history. The spiritual aura and the historical significance of Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji make it a place of reverence and pilgrimage for Sikhs. Devotees find solace and inspiration in the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, promoting the values of compassion, equality, and service to humanity. In essence, Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji in Patna stands as a beacon of Sikhism, radiating spirituality, inclusivity, and the timeless teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, continuing to draw pilgrims and admirers from all walks of life.❣️❣️

Patna is the birth place of the tenth guru of Sikhs Guru Govind Singh Ji. Guru Gobind Singh was born in Patna 23rd December 1666 A.D. The original name of Patna was Pataliputra. This holy birthplace Patna is renamed Patna Sahib. You can take a bus, auto or taxi from Patna Sahib railway station to Gurudwara Sahib. Free food and accommodation with cheap rates are also available there. Many trains and flights are well connected with Patna Sahib airport. You can visit any time of the day or any day of 365 days. There has also more Gurudwara related to Guru Gobind Singh ji...like bal Leela and Kangan Ghaat sahib gurudwara. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, was born in Patna  on 22 December 1666. He also spent his early years here before moving to Anandpur sahib Punjab. Besides being the birthplace of Gobind Singh, Patna was also honored by the visits of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.

It took us 30 min and Rs.150 e-rickshaw ride to go from Kumhrar Park to Patna Sahib. Auto and e-rickshaws are available plenty. The last 15 min ride was through narrow streets with quite crowded areas. The Gurdwara itself is on a very busy and narrow street. We had to deposit the shoes & socks at the entry, but didn’t have to deposit small side bags we were carrying though the security personnel at the main entrance asked us to do so. The Gurdwara is a calm and clean place. Halwa and laddu is available at the counter toward right of the main building. Fair washroom facility is available right next to the main entry gate. On our return journey, we took an e-rickshaw to come to Golghar following the riverside. We were charged 200.

One of the Five Takhts of Sikh religion. Must try Langer. the birth place of the 10th Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj in the ancient city of Patna is a serene place for all. Don't miss the Langar and the prasad which is served with great piousness to one and all. As you enter the gate you would see clean, beautiful and well maintained place as the other gurudwaras are maintained. Takht Sri Harmandir sahib is also known as Patna sahib. It is the birth place of Guru govind Singh ji. Here a gurudwara is structured.Patna sahib railway station is very near to it.The look of gurudwara is very good.Covering the head is must to enter the gurudwara. There is a museum inside the gurudwara. Here many pictures of Sikh dynasty are shown. It is in the old part of the city. The roads are narrow and crowded. Better to leave taxi away from the market area and walk all around before entering the Gurdwara. Market is shoppers' paradise. Plenty and variety of eatables available. Inside the main gate of Gurdwara Campus it is comparatively quiet and peaceful. The music on public address system is soulful. Prasad is heavenly. The inner sanctum is huge and very impressive. The Granth Sahib is displayed in all its glory. I highly recommend the travelers to visit this place. As you further proceed you would start feeling blessed and divine. The gurubani will give peace to you.

It’s very beautifully designed and well maintained. At night lighting arrangement is very good. After Harimandir Amritsar this is the best and holly place too. Being located at crowded area of Patna, it has ample place to accommodate parking and it has a overnight stay arrangement for devotees too.

Situated at Patna City area this Gurudwara has magical aura. Birth place of Guru Gobind Singh ji, the tenth guru of Sikhs. Amazed with peace and eye catching architecture. Everyone irrespective of caste, creed and religion visits this place makes it even more beautiful. Whole day langar sewa, a delicious and fulfilling meal serve thousands of people daily. Besides, there are various shops outside selling bangles, rings, and kada. Auto rickshaw charges Rs 35/- per person from Gandhi Maidan and drops at the main gate of Gurudwara. Its always a wonderful experience to visit Shri Harimandir Sahib Gurudwara. One of the most recommended place to visit in Patna. Note: Photography of Guru Granth Sahib is strictly prohibited.

Must visit place if you are in Patna. The whole experience is something unique which you need to go through. Peaceful, spiritual, very well maintained and managed. Spend sometime in the main hall and it will be an experience you will cherish. There is parking in the gurudwara but the approach roads are narrow and jam most of the time. Better to avoid your 4 wheeler and use ola/uber/auto.:😊

First of all this is a place of worship. Hence Google should stop people from rating it. This is a great sanctuary of peace harmony and love. God bless our Sikh brothers. Every Hindu is indebted to their Sikh brothers. Sikh brothers should also understand that Hindus are their own people. And Sikhism is a pluralistic religion which has taught Preaching through Service. Proud to be part of this community.

Travelled here for my marriage anniversary, got down at Patna sahib railway station and it’s less than a km walk from there. (You can take a shared toto for 5-10 rs) Agree reaching there is not a breeze with messy areas, overcrowded and dump waste all way along, but once you are here you are in a different world. No words can describe the purity, sanctity, calmness, gratitude it brings from within. This is a historical Gurudwara where Sikh’s tenth guru (Guru Govind Singh Ji) was born and spent his childhood days. Cover your head, deposit your footwear and get a token, mattha tek, offer pinni prasad or kadah prasad, get prasad, offer prayers and see your prayers come true. Also visit below Gurudware’s which are historical and stone throw away- - Gurudwara Baal Leela - Gurudwara Kangan ghat

Patna city is birth place of lord 10th guru Sri Guru Govinda singh. He was born here in dec 1666. Takht Sri Patna Sahib also known as Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji.One of the world's most vital Sikh religious spots, Takht Patna Sahib Gurudwara.. This Gurudwara is viewed as the point of convergence of the Sikhism towards east India. Takh of the Sikhs signifies 'position of authority of expert' or 'seat of energy' and Patna Sahib is the second recognized Takht of the Sikhs. Daily morning prayer called ardaas is being performed here every morning at 5:45 A.M and evening prayer at 6:00 P.M. The langar or free food service is offered here to all the visitors and visitors are also welcomed to volunteer in langar services since it is believed to be an offering to God.  The Prakash Parv or the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji is celebrated in December every year which is one of the major attractions of this place.

Beautiful , serene inside . But omg! The traffic outside needs to be mentioned ! There is always a jam in front of it . They need to regulate traffic here so that the serenity is maintained for at least 10 minutes after coming out of the Gurudwara

Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji, Patna Sahib is a must visit place for all. It's so serene and pilgrimage for the Sikhs. We had great experience and perfect chance to visit office friend's wedding at Patna and took time to visit Patna Sahib, so glad we visited.

It is one of the 5 Takaths of Sikhs.and a historical place.. This place is visited/dwelled by Sri guru nanak dev ji, hargobind ji, guru teg bahadur ji amd Guru Gobind singh ji. Very peaceful place.. Though the area leading to gurudwara sahib is quite congested, it is advised to go there in the early morning.. There are 4-5 Gurudwara sahib in the vicinity, so plan your journey accordingly so that you can visit all these gurudwara sahib 🙏🙏🙏

For everyone I really recommend this. It is a very beautiful Sikh temple. It is a quite big complex with enough praying facilities Simply enjoy the culture and do not forget to take something to cover your head. Though, you can buy also a cover on the spot.

Better to avoid your 4 wheeler and use ola/uber/auto.

Everybody should come and visit here . According to me be polite for everyone and spread love and positivity.

Takht Sri Patna Sahib also known as Harmandir Sahib, is a Gurdwara in the neighbourhood of Patna Sahib, India. It was to commemorate the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs on December 1666.[1][2] It was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh (1780-1839), the first Maharaja of the Sikh Empire, who also built many other Gurdwaras in the Indian subcontinent. The current shrine of Patna Sahib or Takht Sri Harmandirji Sahib was built in the 1950s. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, was born in Patna, Bihar, on 22 December 1666.[4][5] He also spent his early years here before moving to Anandpur Sahib. Besides being the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, Patna was also honored by visits from Guru Nanak Dev Ji as well as Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Patna Sahib railway station, a railway station with same name located nearby, is connected to many metropolitan cities of India by the Howrah-Delhi Main Line.

This the birth place of #Guru Gobind Singh the tenth guru of Sikhs. This is built by #Maharaja ranjit Singh in 18th century. The best time to visit in evening during #kirtan time. Gurudwara Patna Sahib is one of the most famous place in Patna. On Govind's Singh Ji Birthday or any important dates, thousands of people come and take blessings. You will feel cool and calm when you spend your time here. What i don't like is some of the workers mainly punjabis has very rude behaviour. I'm not saying about all but there are some who are rude. Mostly elder people of workers. On langar time, they will smack on your shoulder to move aside so we have to wait for long to go in the langar hall and they give space to their own religion people to go in the langar hall no matter how late they come. If you continue with this rude behaviour then don't expect our behaviour. Also don't try to do discrimination. Every religion place is for everyone kind of people. Also they don't have any good management to run the temple (mainly to feed people). You need too much improvement. I was about to give 5 stars but for now 3 stars!

Very peaceful and calm. Attended morning ardas.Darshan area is full of devotees even on weekdays. Parsad counter takes 30 minutes, not managed well. Langar is very well managed in a big hall. One should visit once to Patna sahib.

Takht Sri Patna Sahib also known as Harmandir Sahib, is a Gurdwara in the neighbourhood of Patna Sahib, India. It was to commemorate the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs on December 1666. It was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh (1780-1839), the first Maharaja of the Sikh Empire, who also built many other Gurdwaras in the Indian subcontinent. The current shrine of Patna Sahib or Takht Sri Harmandirji Sahib was built in the 1950s.

Peaceful and tranquil place. Loved the people and atmosphere of the Gurudwara premises. You will feel the divinity and blessings all around. Also, it is very huge, spacious and amazing place, must visit! Very good Place and the experience was fantastic. The cleanliness and cooperation of the place was at the top level. There were volunteers also who were doing the work from their heart not for money. The outsiders who came to visit the place also started helping in work like Cleaning, etc. The unity of the People there was just awesome to see. Such a nice place every one should visit once in the their life.

Gurudwara has always been my peace place and this one is no different. The gurudwara is situated at a very crowded, small and clumsy road and is difficult to reach. But the scene change is absolutely drastic the moment you step inside. The underground parking helps. The place is serene and the aesthetics (if it really matters) is absolutely stunning. Highly recommended. Will surely visit again.

Gurdwara sahib is excellent, neat and clean. Langer operationsl all the time. Good team of Pathies . Road access is very narrow. Till about 8am in the morning you can take your car but thereafter it's recommended to take 3 wheeler. Suggestion for improvement:- 1. At shoe deposit window, there is a drain pit, it requires a proper cover. 2. At Langer sahib, there can be a mechanical system for serving water to pangat.

The pride of Patna City ! It is the birth place of the eighth Guru of Sikh community, Shri Guru Govind Saheb. There are two Gurudwara in close proximity of 400 metres. Beautiful and well maintained place. There is a museum also where you can find cloths and weapons used by Guru. And do eat the langer served here which is prepared and served by volunteers and tastes really good.

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Patna Sahib Gurudwara after 9 pm on a peaceful weekday, and I must say, the experience left me in awe. The grandeur of the Gurudwara's architecture was truly captivating, showcasing the rich cultural and spiritual heritage it holds. As I stepped inside, the beauty that unfolded before my eyes was simply breathtaking. The intricate designs, vibrant colors, and serene atmosphere created a sense of tranquility that immediately touched my soul. One of the highlights of my visit was the langar khana, the community kitchen, where selfless volunteers were working tirelessly to prepare meals for devotees and visitors alike. Witnessing the dedication and humility with which they served was truly inspiring. The spirit of seva (selfless service) was palpable in every corner of the Gurudwara, reminding me of the values that Sikhism stands for. What struck me the most was the harmonious blend of devotion, community, and spirituality. The Gurudwara's ambience was not just a reflection of architectural beauty, but also of the deep-rooted faith that has been nurtured for generations. The atmosphere was charged with positivity and inclusivity, making it evident that everyone was welcome, regardless of their background or beliefs. As I observed people going about their chores, their dedication and commitment to the service of others were truly humbling. It's rare to find such a serene and vibrant sanctuary amidst the hustle and bustle of a city, and Patna Sahib Gurudwara offered just that. My visit left me with a profound sense of gratitude and a renewed appreciation for the values of unity, compassion, and selflessness that this Gurudwara stands for. In conclusion, my visit to Patna Sahib Gurudwara was a remarkable experience that touched my heart and soul deeply. The architectural grandeur, the beauty within the walls, and the heartwarming community spirit all combined to create an unforgettable memory that I will cherish for years to come.

It's amazingly peaceful. The place is sacred and clean even though many visitors visit it. The gurdwara also has a Langar Hall where one can take Langar prasad sitting down in pangat (line) with others irrespective of caste/creed/stature.

It's a historical gurudwara and one of the 5 takhts. Accessibility is disabled friendly. Has a basement parking. Peaceful and divine place. The approach road is very narrow and hence difficult to find Uber for this place. Sunday is a good day to visit as most shops around are closed and traffic is less
