Stayed here for two weeks and had a great time. It’s a very cozy place, has great vibes and fun people. It was convenient to work from here as well since they have wifi in the hostel and the cafe. The dorms are great and the bathrooms are super clean. Very early in my stay I felt at home here. The food at the cafe is also very tasty so for lazy people it’s pretty convenient!! Also highly recommend Malta juice.

This hostel is like a serene home tucked in the mountains. From a mesmerizing sunset that can be seen right from the terrace to the bonfire nights and jamming sessions, everything is exactly what you want when you are travelling. The dorms are spotless with everything available for the convenience. The group activities here will allow you to explore Bir and Yourself, and the staff will ensure you always leave with a homely feeling and a home to come back too!

The place will hit you with a vibe you won't forget soon. Really loved my stay here. The staff is really friendly and the place has some awesome spots to chill with your old friends and the new ones you make there. Dorms are clean and well-maintained and the view from the rooftop will make you take out your phone camera for sure. When I was there, we got treated to a live music event as well. You can easily rent scooties from the hostel itself. Make sure to pinch the manager, Vivek, on his rock music taste when you're there :P

It was a wonderful stay. Had a blast here. Food here is amazing especially the hot chocolate. Cold weather, hot chocolate filled with rich and tasty chocolate will just take your day to next level. People here are very friendly, amazing vibe, met a lot of new people from different parts of the country with unique experiences to discuss. We came as 2 people but went with the memories of 15-20 people. Will definitely come back here whenever I'm visiting Bir. Special mention to Sanya (Community Manager) to manage things smoothly and make sure all of us felt comfortable and felt like home. Would highly recommend everyone to try this place for sure.

This hostel is so cool. We played uno with the whole hostel guests and staff the first night and they also helped us arrange our paragliding experience, which was super fabulous. Their triple chocolate cookies are very yummy and all the staff and guests are very warm 🥹. Their garden is also really pretty 🌼.

We had a good stay here. Vivek was very helpful and friendly with anything we needed. The prices are a bit high on the menu, and the food was just okay for us. We tried a lot of different options and some were great and some were a miss. The room was very clean, there are a lot of outdoor spaces to hang out. It's very accessible to get to the town and a scooter can be rented on site. Property is near the road so the traffic noise can be overpowering at times. Very clean rooms with everything promised on the booking. TV wasn't working at the start and Vivek made sure to get it working as quickly as possible.

Best place to stay in Bir I come here repeatedly because of the overall vibe. It's a lively place full of activities, amazing people who ensure everyone the best time and comfort. Like me, its evident many other people just don't want to leave this place at all.

A warm hug, that is how I would describe The Bunker. I had not come across this hostel while I was planning my trip to Bir and it was my friend who told me to shift here on the second day while I was in town. He had booked the place and I didn’t really care at the time, I would have stayed anywhere but this was the best decision I might have made during the entire trip. My trip turned around so beautifully thanks to this place. One, we got to stay in a tent which was super comfy with an attached bathroom, shared between three people and SUPER affordable. Two, I extended my stay at The Bunker because I didn’t want to leave the place AT ALL. Three, the view from the hostel of the mountains just behind it is breath-taking and I honestly could not take my eyes off the horizon, every time I sat outside in this beautiful shed that these guys have placed. It's beautifully decorated with fairy lights, lamps, cushions and the best part I would say is that the seating is arranged in such a way that most people end up interacting with each other which is such an integral part in a hostel!! From the volunteers to the managers, everyone was extremely welcoming and sweet and ensured that we were all taken care of and even suggested really good eateries around the place and the best ways to reach to whichever places we wanted to go. Even their in-house menu was very vast and had some great dishes. I should also appreciate The Bunker for the activities and events they conduct, it is not at all a nuisance in any manner and only adds to the beautiful vibe of the place. I was left wondering when I came back home if it was Bir or if it was The Bunker that made my trip so beautiful. If you are in Bir, do not miss this hostel. P.S. Do look at the menu before you order the pakoras on a nice rainy weather. xD

Really enjoyed my stay here at Bunker. Met some amazing people and hosts are great as well. Common area is the life of the place. Lots of open spaces to chill and is situated very close to the landing side as well. Would love to come back here soon!

It was one of the best stay I ever had experienced. The management was amazing and the services too. The guests living in the property was great too, they would not let me bore and thanks to the great management as they managed to create such a vibe. Overall experience was pleasant and memorable. My experience amazing with Bunker Hostel and its staff also. It felt like home there were very gracious and chill people. They will include you as an ingredient of the house. Bunker organises many entertainments on alternative days so that you can find fun in the hostel too. You can book your all adventure sports activity from the hostel also. The property is also in a quiet place not far and not isolated very near to the market and bus stop. I would strongly recommend folks, to visit, stay there and have delicious food in the cafe of the bunkers.

No words can truly describe the experience of living in a place like Bunker. One needs to stay there to actually experience the love, warmth, feeling of belonging and company of the most beautiful and interesting people I met there. The place had daily outings/events to some insanely beautiful waterfall or mountain top. I really enjoyed trekking with the folks. Would recommend every single person who is reading this comment to go once and I bet you would wanna go back there again. Its that special.

It was a Great experience staying here. Everything was so smooth. Staff is really Good and Cooperative. No Words for Food, It was amazing. For the First time I had a stay at a Hostel and It's Bunker ❣️. Everything is at a Walking Distance From Here. Will be coming back soon with more Holidays. A lot of things left to Explore in Bir.

I enjoyed the benefits of the low season being one of the only guests in this wonderful place, cozy, amazing view and sunsets. And of course- beautiful welcoming people (Shambhavi hey you!), tons of activities to participate in, the chef is probably the best in Bir so you can just spend your whole day here. The hosts here make your stay really comfortable. They are always there to help you with all the queries. The vibe of the place is amazing with such a cosy and homely vibe. Beautiful property and very accommodating & friendly staff. The food was also very good. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm and it was 3-layered on each side, so it was a bit difficult to climb up and get down each time if you are at the top most bed. Otherwise, the rooms were good and the washrooms were super clean. They organised campfires as well and suggested us things to do as we were on a time constraint. And Location-wise, the property is a bit distant from the centre but that shouldn't be a problem if you're taking a 2-wheeler.

I booked this superior deluxe room in this hostel because of the rating that I saw on Google. But when I had been there I felt it was over-hyped. Property was good not very impressive like zostels and felt it was little over-priced. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Food was amazing. However, location is near to the landing point of paragliding and of course, view of mountains is very beautiful. But it's not near to the market and the road gets darker and isolated as there were no street lights. So, you have to stay in hotel at night. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Staying here was an awesome experience overall. The Bunker has a friendly n chill vibe. We stayed in the cosy Jungles room for about 2 weeks and the views were simply stunning! The food is great too with lots of options. Definitely coming back soon!

The rooms and dorms are lined up with all modern amenities. The hostel has good wifi and open spaces. Thicker curtains in private rooms will be a good enhancement.

I've been here with my Mom and Sister. Initially I was a little apprehensive if my Mom would be comfortable in a Hostel setup. But the folks here made sure they did everything to make all the three of us comfortable and welcomed. The volunteers and owners were always there to guide you with things to do around, to tell you about the best and lesser known places. The food and the service was so good that now that has become a benchmark.
