Called in yesterday, was seen by Matthew & Chris, I had a tyre problem, they looked at the tyre and advised I would need a new one. Ordered it straight away, couldn't believe it arrived earlier today..They were very professional and courtesy, job completed straight away I was impressed with the standard of service I would highly recommend this garage.

Never used National tyres before. Called in with a flat tyre with a faulty valve on afternoon of Thursday 25/1/24. Hadn't booked an appointment so thought I would probably have to leave the wheel with them and pick it up the following day. Was greeted by a happy and enthusiastic mechanic who said it would be a really quick fix. Five minute turn around and I was done. Very impressed and will definitely be using this garage from now on. Thank you to the mechanic who helped me out, sadly I didn't get his name.

Was unfortunate to get a puncture on my way to work Monday morning. Called into this depot at 8.05am for assistance/repair. Two staff stood in one of two empty bays. When I parked, they went into the office on the far side of the building. I walked round to the office & asked if they could attend my puncture. I was offered an appointment for 12.30pm - as they had been taken over by Halfords it was appointment only. They obviously intended to stand around for 25 minutes until their 8.30am appointment turned up. Something seriously wrong & when I'm looking for 5 new tyres next year (value around £600 to £700) you can be sure it won't be with National / Halfords. I did get my tyre repaired at another garage a couple of miles away - walked in, told them the problem, waited 10 mins while a member of staff became available & 15 minutes later I was on my way with a repaired tyre.

Friendly, helpful staff, repaired my puncture in no time, but would have appreciated it if they'd gone the extra mile and cleaned the mess they made.

Great job, but i didn't like the fact that if you choose an earlier time slot they charge you an extra £10 rather than wait until 6pm which is supposed to be their closing time? Maybe that was Halfords decision?

My son ordered tyres for next day fitting, he arrived and the tyres he had ordered wasn't in stock. The garage offered him another more expensive tyre that was in stock and charged him extra even though it was their fault the tyres he ordered wasn't in stock. Seems thus is a regular thing with this company avoid at all costs and use protyre. Best tyre company by far.

Great service very informative although a little slow

Dropped the car off as scheduled and 3.5 hours later they still hadn't started work to replace 4 tyres. No communication at all during this time and little by way of an apology. Took me some time to get my money back from them too. I would avoid.

Not a good experience. I arrived with a puncture and was told that my tyre could not be repaired so I would have to buy a new one. They then took down a geat deal of personal information about me and then said sorry our suppliers don't do a tyre for your car. Anyway I emailed a famous mobile tyre fitting company and said I don't suppose you have a tyre to fit my car? The reply was yes when do want it fitting. A really nice, knowledgeable and friendly tyre fitter arrived with a new tyre identical to the tyres on my car. When the fitter examined the old tyre he said why have you bought a new tyre this puncture could have been easily repaired as its right in the middle of the tread. Anyway an expensive lesson has been learned. I'm a pensioner and have had to fork out nearly £175 due to incorrect advice given by a supposedly reputable company. Seems with national tyres it's about profit not service.

Excellent customer service. Had a free brake and tyre check and always confident that they will not try to hard sell.

Have used this site for years. Went today - Halfords have taken over and it is a shambles. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. What was once a brilliant place is now a disaster. Use at you peril!!!!!

Call before going to Yeadon national tyres as one of my tyres had a blow out and need one asap. Gentleman called Nassir was so helpful and booked me in same day . Excellent service and highly recommended!

Unfortunately l was left unhappy by my experience after visiting National Tyres. My tyre pressure flashed because my rear drivers wheel was very low. After contacting National tyres l managed to get a slot the same day. Yes the rear tyre was low due to a screw in the tyre but my 2 front tyres also needed replaced. Quoted £89 +£109+£109 for all the tyres. However on collection my rear wheel alloys were badly damaged with deep scratches. This was difficult to argue because l hadn't taken a photo prior to my visit. After checking National tyres online site the tyres would have been substantially cheaper. With this in mind take photo before a visit proof of damage and check online prices first.

Absolutely disgusted with National Tyres and Autocare Yeadon. I had run flats and conventional tyres on the same axle and they used scare tactics to say there were illegal to try and sell me £925 of tyres. The MOT standard states “Run flat and conventional tyres can be mixed on the same axle.” I called their head office and they said it wasn't scare tactics but a recommendation - how can " your car is illegal to drive" be a recommendation? Despite raising this with them they were totally unhelpful. I will NEVER do business with this company again. I contacted Formula One and Hi-Q along with two MOT testers and they all quoted back the MOT standard. Disgraceful, utterly disgraceful. Avoid at all costs!
