My favorite alki spot to watch the sunset and have the kid play in the tidal pools. Best at mid to low tide. Swimming and paddle boarding also good here when low wind.

This location is a great alternative from Alki beach if its too crowded. You can walk the beach provided it is low tide at the time of arrival. Other than that it is much quiet in this location because its not well known or there isn't any restaurants nearby compared to Alki Beach. Nevertheless make sure to keep it that way otherwise the residents nearby wont hesitate to call the police for noise complaint.

Went for low tide and was not disappointed with all the creatures we saw. Also was great to watch the waves since it was a super windy day.

I've been enjoying this site for decades. During a low tide last week (1/13/22) I scattered my father's ashes, so now most of his remains are traveling the PNW waterways.

What a place for a walk, run, walking your dog or enjoying sunset with a friend. Your view will include mountains , an island, a ferry , possibly some orcas. These are the views that you don't get many other places in the country.

Maybe the most beautiful sunsets in the whole city. Must visit! Parking is limited but ample walking space from Alki Beach.

I enjoyed the waterfront walk but with the clouds the view was just ok, even though it's a sunny morning on the east side!

Beautiful little strip however be careful when walking the beach area there are homeless people living in the wood logs that are set together like a tower the man had no issue peeing in front of my teenage daughter we were minding our own business and didnt look or make a seen but still kind of rude...beautiful view and the sidewalk has the astronomical stars in it.

Pretty and calm water with a Rocky shore line. Wasn’t very crowded for a Sunday! There were several stand up paddle boards in the water that day. Just very relaxing area.

very pretty area. Super congested to get to traffic wise but not a lot of people. Loved the galaxy walk.

Service was a bit slow. The food was not good. It was just not comfort breakfast. Pancake had no flavor, French Toast was soggy and again no flavor. Syrup was nothing but liquid sugar. Hashbrowns were raw in the center. I'm not sure if I want to try coming back for the Mexican food they offer.

Best tidepooling in Seattle. Cannot bring dogs- it's not good for the ecosystem and you risk a 1k ticket. Easy to find parking.

Thankfully I take my lunches at this area. Many wonderful things seperate this from the busy side of Alki. You will not be able to find a better tidal area in Seattle. This is a must go place for people with children as when the tide is out the adventure begins. You can see a plethora of different wildlife ranging from Harbor Seals, Osprey and the occasional Orca Pod off in the distance to small green crabs and sea anemone in the tidal pools. With sunsets with the Olympias to the peaking Mt. Rainier from the South its best to check the tidal charts and take a look. You never know what you will find. Also, if you are visiting during the brisk windy Winter months. Do not pass this location up as the waves will slam against the seawall and put on a fun water show...that you can drive through.

My go-to spot for tidepooling! So many incredible finds. Beautiful views. Always parking. There are volunteers that come out on the weekends to give information on wildlife. Only downfall.. no bathrooms(that I have found) also no dogs allowed.

Nice view. Good place to see starfish. If you lift rocks you can see tons of crabs … fun for kids.
