Resort location is superb, a clean and clam stream flowing by side of the resort make you feel relax. The rooms were spacious and clean. But, the facilities should be maintained e.g. swimming pool was not cleaned, tea bags were kept open in a tray. The way to villas was not properly lit. Discrepancy in facilities provided in villa - like no fridge, single dinning table's chair, etc. Were expecting South Indian food specialties for the duration of stay. Food quality was ok. They have facility for indoor games on first floor of reception, but was not clean. For games like cricket no ball to play, archery only bow present, no arrows. similar with darts. Some good books to read but were covered with lot of dust. The Nature wins above all the services provided here. Can think to revisit if the services and facilities are improved.

This resort is in the midst of Nature with the river demarcating forest and resort. It's an awesome nature's nest. The ambience is mesmerizing and an apt place for relaxing and enjoying nature in and around. It's not value for money though as the Villa needs renovation. Food is ok and not that great. There is a nature walk session and person who takes through the session keeps wagging about his past which anyways the visitors would not be interested in. Even after numerous indications on deviating the topic of we not interested in his past he still continues which is agitating. Nevertheles, the service from staff is exemplary. The reason for rating 3 stars is, Villa needs renovation and it's not value for money.

One of our best family holidays. The oneness with nature, the calmness, the serenity all of it packaged into a lovely resort. A home away from home. The spas were great, the hiking trails and the cycling tracks give you a workout which lasts 3 days and the kayaking were a different experience altogether. The hiking trails need a special mention because the guide was very good and helpful and the scenery was breathtaking and awe inspiring. Folks who did the hiking trails in Bali , Fiji and the Hawaiian rain forest trails just couldnt believe that our beautiful land had such lovely trails to offer and its untouched and unsullied by humans. The shallow slow moving streams, the birds in rhe background the no rush living brings us back to our laid back lives before the advent of the mobile phones. The food is great, the breakfasts are healthy and the sports rooms gives you enough choices to enjoy most Indian indoor games. But what impressed us most were the staff. Very courteous & well trained , clean and efficient . They did a very good job. If you ever need to spend undisturbed time with family and friends do enjoy around the campfire . The main USP for us was of course the fact that there's no Mobile range at all. Zilch .. Nada. So keep your phones and worries aside.

As the name says it was really into the woods experience. It is the place if you want to relax and enjoy your time with no outside disturbances. Food was also delicious and a treat for those who love fish varieties. service was also very good and the staff were courteous and helpful. We missed our wallet in resort which had valuables and management is so good they only called and returned back our wallet.

If seafood is what floats your boat, then look no further than this resort! The owner is a plantsman with an extensive collection from all over the world. His fervour and literacy of plants is phenomenal!

This is a lovely resort a about an hour's drive from Kundapura. Unfortunately not very well maintained. The pool was not clean and for us the biggest draw was the pool. The rooms are huge, clean and well appointed as are the bath rooms. Each villa has a plunge pool as well but again this was closed and not cleaned. The villas have a living area and two bedrooms. It's quite good if you have a bunch of friends with family travelling together. Food was good but disappointingly did not extend to traditional fare because the chef was not from Mangalore. Extremely helpful staff.

Awesome place for rejuvenation of mind and body in the foothills of western ghats. Botanical garden with exotic species of fruit bearing plants. Separate star level Villas with independent French pool. Beach and water falls are in walkable distance. Best place for outing and trekking with guide. Superb hospitality by the resort staff. Tasty food is the another feather in the cap for this Wild woods.

Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Food menu is fixed but the quality taste and quantity of the food is amazing. The place is still under maintenance activity due to flood damage as informed by one of the staffs but one section of the resort is still open including spa swimming pool etc . Had a wonderful and relaxing time there. The only suggestion i have is the whole place requires more maintenance .I am not sure whether the wildly growing plants and shrubs are purposefully maintained like that to give it a natural feel or is actually the lack of maintenance. The villas are all neat and comfy.

second time am spending time in resort... but this time its very awesome experience. wild wood spa & resorts located in cool area surrounded by greenery that gave me a lot of piece of mind . I love some adventures life again its opened its wings like trucking, boating that gave me so much thrill i enjoyed it lot . after trucking seeing beautiful water falls in between green mountains made all strain go. more over staff treatment created homely environment with their best dine. fresh and best food with cleanness made my stomach satisfied. Finally resort satisfied me in all the way Thank u wild wood spa & resort team.....

if nature and rafting is what excites you, then wild woods spa is your place. I've been there with my family and friends and this place has never disappointed me by any means. Make sure you visit the resort during autumn to enjoy rafting, athough the play section for the kids could be improvised, it still nerve disappoints you with it's incredible biodiversity of various plants and insects. The chef's here deserve a raise for making such delicious home cooked meal. And overall this place is somewhere you'd wanna go when you feel you want get a piece of nature and forget the city life and fall into the beauty of nature and embrace it. This place has given me a lot good memories, which i shall always cherish. To conclude my very long words of gratitude, I'd like to thank for how the management team has taken care of the plants by not destroying it to a greater extent:)
