It is a good place for people who don't like much crowd and love Much Scenery and Beach. There are 3 Ac and 3 Non Ac Guest House is there in this place.Rates are affordable for Ac 1500 per day and Non AC 1000. For Book cottage e have to call Range Forest office Byndoor or Kundapura. There is no Restaurant or grocery stores nearby.You have to go Byndoor city for buy anything.Cottege Maintanence staff is available all the time of you give money he will prepare food for you. But you to tell advance.good road connectivity.Good Morning view.so many peocoks are there here.Someshwara beach view is Awesome.Dont miss this place

Kshitija Nesara Dhama is a beautiful spot located on a cliff, near someshwara beach in Byndoor. It’s a very nice place to visit with family and friends. You can sit in the shades of lush trees in this place or climb up the view point and get to see absolutely stunning view of the sea and estuary on one side and the beautiful mountain view on the other side. Do remember, there is an entry fee of Rs.10 per person to visit this place.

Nice place to visit with ur family. Greenery all around the place, Good time to visit during monsoon. You will love the nature around this place very much. Peaceful place. Entry charge is applicable while entering. You can go there with both bikes & cars.

A perfect getaway spot. Whenever I want to stay away from the traffic and some peaceful time for myself, I prefer this place. Booking process was smooth. Best part of the stay here is the location of the property.. The viewpoints around the property.. The view of the ocean is breathtaking from all the rooms here.. Sunset view from here is a different experience and must not be missed. Staff is well behaved... The food they prepare is so nice, Fish, chicken and all the items they prepare in Veg is just wow. Overall a wonderful place.

Known as sunset point, Nice place to spend time with friends and family, there is a watchtower where you can get scenic view of the sun setting and the sea merging with river, Rooms are available which can be booked through forest department kundapura,or if you want to get to the Someshwara beach there are steps leading to it.

I visited in 1997 in my ambassador car my old memories came back from 2days i was struggling to search today at last I got in Google I'm so happy. But i think this place belongs to forest govt department,but i wanted to confirm is there rooms available there.

A very good spot for evening rides and sunsets

A lesser known gem in Udupi district. It's a forest department controlled area which gives a panoramic view of the Someshwara beach. The view point also has a small watch tower to view the beauty and is also surrounded by green cover. The forest department also has a couple of cottages for stay and costs in the range of ₹1,000 to 2,000. There's a small park also in the area for kids to play. There's parking space available and it costs ₹10 per person for entry and a receipt/ticket is given. There's a toilet also at the entrance.

Provides a good panaromc view of byndoor river mouth !! But needs to be improved to attract many tourists and visitors. Also no basic amenities are there inside premises and forest dept office exists on premises is almost no use. Actually there are 2 ways to reach this place: 1. Few mins from someshwara beach road through forest area and climb up around 100-150 straps and little hike, 2. Other one is from main road towards Murdeshwara after byndoor and slight left towards temple - around 5-6 KMs from byndoor. Almost no sign boards are placed on highway and around byndoor town , most of people doesn't come here. Good thing is road towards this provides good landscape view and you can witness peacocks and peahens. During last visit some fellow visitors claimed that they witnessed a full grown tiger while entering this park - Forest dept needs to comb around this area to make sure visitors safety.
