A good picnic spot to Ocean Park.... On my visit to Hyderabad, we decided to visit ocean park to get some respite from the sweating May heat. This is a theme water and amusement park for kids. Ocean Park is situated at Gandipet just 15 kms from Hyderabad and offers a mix of Water Rides and Amusement Rides for all age groups. The place is easily accessible by buses and also through autos etc. The kids enjoyed the day here. They loved the wave pool. The wave pool gives a simulation of ocean waves. A good experience for people who do not live by the sea side. They went multiple times on harakiri and Aqua Snake - water slide while sitting in a raft and which takes several curves and steep drops. The water slides they enjoyed were aqua glide,zip zap zoom etc etc where you race down at an incredible speed to land safely into the water. The rides are all safe for kids. The best season to visit is in summer when the kids can get away from the heat and get some respite enjoying in water. One of the best amusement parks..... There many different types of water games . Everyone will enjoy in this park . The park will be fully covered with greenery . There are around three pools one is for water games, other one is for waves and so on . The will be attract everyone . The waves in the pool will give an experience like ocean . There park opens at 11:00 am and will be closed at 6:00 pm . This is a whole day entertainment . Ocean Park is good for kids. Height below 4'6" are kids and Height above 4'6" are adults irrespective of age. Thrill rides can play twice per person. No additional cost for rides. Water park is small, A wave pool, medium sized slides, rain dance, a separate pool for women. Outside food not allowed. Inside food is costly, tastes average. Washrooms and Changing rooms are good. Staff are not allowing few slides for the kids around 4'7" to 4'9" but management charging adult tickets for them. When these kids go to kid play zone they were being not allowed due to Adult Tag on their hands.

It is one of the oldest amusement park in Hyderabad..as I know this from last 20 years.. Rides are nice and staff were really good in helping ...We went on a weekday and surprisingly nomuch crowd..All together there were just 20 people..LOL

Best water park I've ever visited in Hyderabad. This park has so many slides in which you can enjoy a lot. And my favorite slide was tornado. It brings you down very speed that u feel afraid for a while. It has many dry games too in which you can enjoy a lot. It also has a wave pool in which you can experience the feeling of waves just like near the sea's and beaches. Best time to visit is from 11AM to 6PM. I suggest you to visit this park between Monday to Friday as there will be less public these days so u can enjoy with your friends and family without waiting in a queue. They don't allow you to take the outside food. I couldn't play many dry games because of rain. There are separate rooms for gents and ladies to exchange dresses and also they provide costumes on rental basis. Nylon clothes are recommended so that you can slip easily on the slides. There are lockers if you need to keep your belongings.

The amusement park is little old in its looks and might need some renovation on it entrance and some rides looks. But that said it is very good from the inside. You can enjoy tons of activities. The water rides are free and included in the ticket price. For most other rides you will have to pay separately but most things are again not that costly. Even the entry ticket is priced fair enough. The main attraction seems like are waves and rain dance both are good and are scheduled every hour or so. Just little renovation on the looks side and this park is among one of the best places you can visit with your family and enjoy a lot!!! On the breakfast and lunch they do have a canteen but I found lot of things were on menu but not available and the things which were available were ok nothing crazy but nothing bad either.

Ocean park has lost its charm as of now The tubes used for one of the rides is worn out ,hurting kids as they try the ride. Food needs improvement when organised for a school picnic. Water was not cleaned and ready for the area where the swimming pool are exists . Overall, it needs an urgent revamping and improvement.

Ocean park is open from 11am - 7 pm. Its a very old park and you can see it in the adventure rides or water rides. Rides are worn out. But the pricing for the park is good. Just 599 for adults and 499 for kids. The wave pool is good. The adventure kids are also good. Kid friendly rides for below 3 years. Theres a restaurant in the park and also a bakery with limited options in it. Separate pools for men and women. The downside kids water rides are at the women's side and I couldn't take my kid to enjoy those rides. Pros : Affordable Pricing Very close proximity to the city. If your are coming from Gachibowli or hitech City. Kids friendly adventure rides. Affordable food at the park. Cons: Rides look old. Need to be repainted. The food was OK and little oily. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, there was a LARGE group that came in. They were everywhere and that put a little damper on our experience.

Ok to go one time but not so good with the games. Just like a picnic with relatives and more kids it's good to come. Only water games are good but again not maintained well. Price is also too much 600 per adult and 450 for children, here all rides are free and included no need to pay extra any where. Cost of eatables are also high than the MRP not recommended to buy until it is urgent or necessary.

It was an amazing experience there. Forget about the reviews posted years ago that showed it was worst it has been improved a lot. Bad critics about food has been improved by them as the prices are reasonable according to the food . We had our day there and it was a memorable day though there were not many people due to off season and due to it's location which is at very outskirts of city. You should visit it once during on season or off season on your wish but must.

Especially most of the "Named " water theme parks are littile intense on the rides while this park has all low to moderate rides . Paid rides like super loop and sky cabs, breakdance, etc also cool 6. Food is also average not much expensive 7. Worst waste of time and money. You have wait for tubes and scates for water spots.. there are very few tubes which can be count on fingure tips. Once it's an empire but now due to its lack of facilities it's being rated low. Very very worst food and not worthy for money even the taste is also not good I tried south Indian Chinese etc all are worst and taste less. Only one kurmacurry, curd, sambar, and lemon chutney, and 2 small pori are given for Indian Rs.100/- over all its water of time and money.

It was amazing experience. It has low cost just 600. There is a 6 water rides and 4 dry rides . There was bumping cars ride and sky zip line view. It was satisfied with cost rides . Bt food not much good in the canteen . In side everything is present food ,drinks . They give swim dress with 300 rupees (200 return) deposit. Bt it awesome.

Its better to visit this place with group of members so that we can have great time here. We stayed half day there and started back. Its good place for get togethers and parties also.

It's ok for kids. Many rides are under maintenance and pool water is not clean.
