This, so called family restaurant, is ABSOLUTELY NOT for family visit. Firstly, their food is very average. The kind of mixed veg or paneer or dal makhani is served is nothing special and you can get it at any Punjabi food outlet. This outlet is located at the food court in GIP Mall, Noida. One or men, dressed in black and white and wearing ties, will lure you to come and have a seat. Surely, some people will get attracted and that serves their purpose. You sit on large green colour sofa. The table does not look clean. The gap between sofa and table is too less so you don't feel comfortable. You eat the food of your choice but avoid using their bottled water. Each bottle costs in excess of ₹150 for one litre. If you have used two bottles your pocket is lighter by ₹300 approximately. Surprising, nobody has the courtesy of even asking you whether you want such an expensive bottle of water or not. The profile earning intention becomes even more evident as they lose no time in opening the bottle and pouring water into glasses. VERY UNETHICAL PRACTICE. Dal makhani tasted average but lacked good taste of spices and the aroma. To save money and to earn better profits the management avoided adding rajma or kidney beans which is so essential in making dal makhani. At least, I had to eat such a dal makhani here. VERY DISAPPOINTING. The rotis are another disappointment. They are very expensive, mostly made of maida which costs damn less than wheat flour. The dough used is small and later stretched to make it look large. As a result the chspati that comes out of tandoor is thin from the centre, light in weight and fails to fill your stomach. VERY POOR. At the end when you come out of the restaurant after having your meal you are not satisfied and you may even regret spending a large sum here. Of course the cost of food plus taxes plus the very, very expensive water bottles of water ad up to a handsome bill amount. NO HAPPY FEELING. I got into their 'trap' once but you should think twice before making an entry. #indianfood, #punjabifood, #gipnoida, #gipfoodcourt, #waterbottles

It was lunch time and they had some ongoing offer @349 approx although we ordered ala cut which costed us around Rs.1400 and the items we ordered were a bowl of egg fried rice and another bowl of chilli chicken gravy. So rate estimate is easily countable. It is on higher side. The restaurant is located in GIP mall, Noida. Being in a posh area, charges would have been justified if the taste had been better. Egg fried rice was still tasting like fried rice, but chicken was a total failure. A Chinese dish did nowhere tasted Chinese, the quantity of red sauce was huge and only that taste and fragrance could be found in the gravy. Food served was hot and fresh that's why could finish the serving although serving portion was average. They need to work hard on the Chinese preparations, rest need to taste again but not sure when will get an opportunity. Till then a 3 star for them.

Best North Indian food in town. A true fine dining experience. Service was top notch. the manager has well taken care of small details. I forgot the name of waiter who served us, he made a big difference. We loved their Crispy corn, Paneer lababdar, Ghar wali dal. Portion size is good and provides true value for money. Would highly recommend!!

This place is located inside a mall's food court. the place serves food and alcohol. Also, there is no smoking zone. First, coming to the initial impression. You get inside and you see a cramped space with too many tables, as if they really got over ambitious with the space. It was packed with these big big sofas and we were thinking about how they clean that space because everything is so jam packed. Music wasn't that great either. Secondly, the individual from their staff who took our order was utterly confused and weirded out for some reason. We had to say our order pointing to the menu like explaining a nursery student. We ordered starters and cocktails. They had offers on alcohol which were decent. Cocktails tasted fine. Nothing to complain about in them. The food tasted average, not great though. Cocktails arrived later than starters, never seen people take so much time preparing cocktail though. The most aweful factor was the lack of cleanliness. Half way through eating our starters, baby cockroaches started emerging besides our table and that ended the deal for us. Four to five baby cockroaches were crawling on the wall. We didn't order anything further and got our bill sorted and left the place. I hope they work on these aspects. The two stars are only for the cocktails. Going by the current condition, not keen on visiting again for sure.

Average place, below average food quality and quantity. Tandoori platter ... platter kam sabji ki plate jyada lag rahi hai.. drinks are average, little over price as per ambiance. Product images shown on bord and in reality, totally different.

I went here for second time and already informed them that I already had bad experience with them earlier when they use to have live guitar perso. But now they have came with a new strategy making old age sardarji standing outside who recalls himself as colonel who asks to try again seeing his age with due respect we tried dinner on 03sep23 and when asked for final bill have to stand and move outside the restaurant to make payment. They should have courtesy of giving bills at your table like other restaurants and also when asked for discounthis son the fat sardarji replies that they are running franchise so discount could not be given. To be honest very bad experience we had in dinner ordered Gobhi masala which was very bad in taste seems to be old or kept so long when ordered was served to us.

Try not to go in this restaurant. There will always be one girl or a guy luring customers to come to their restaurant. They will show you a some cheap combo menu options and you will get the impression that food is not that costly here which is not true at all. No doubt their staff was good and courteous. Once you go and sit, they will keep that costly water bottle. In our case I immediately said No to that water bottle before they could open it. I asked for a full Hot n Sour Soup but I told them to make that 1/2 and serve half-half in two bowls. Those guys served one full bowl of the soup and gave me another empty bowl. They told me you make it half yourself. When I started shouting, they said sorry and served half-half soups in two bowls. Not surprisingly, the soup quantity was also very less. Though soup was good in taste. I ordered for a Chinese Platter. The taste was average. Moreover they served those Chinese items in cheap plastic plate. After finishing our food, they told me to come outside where I had to pay the bill. There they included the service charge in the bill. I told them to remove the service charge but that person very rudely and blatantly told me that sir, it is mentioned in the menu that you have to pay the service charge. I didn't like that gesture at all. I am pretty sure that guy wouldn't have hesitated in creating a scene if I would have clearly said No to that service charge. There was an uncle who seemed to be very polite and sweet. Probably he was the owner of the restaurant. He started folding hands that these guys are getting half of the Salaries and restaurant is not doing well so I paid the total bill and left.

This place is decent if you're looking forward to go with friends or family, they serve chinese, indian and variety of non veg dishes and obviously soft and hard drink. Prices are a bit above than reasonable but food is good considering the variety they have(every person has different taste), service is quick you don't have to wait a long time to finally see your food on the table, ambience is average, vibe is friendly, only thing that bothered me was that their bottled water costs 130₹ per bottle, overall good experience.

Great place for family & friends get together. I am not sure about this location, however, I visited the Elante mall branch, which have extremely delicious food and great ambience. Staff behaviour is too good. They have great quality even with veg items. Quantity is good for 2 people in one serve. Menu is descriptive. Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

A fine dining restaurant which constantly reminds you of royalty. It may not be the most appealing from outside, when compared to other restaurants beside it, you change your mind when inside.Impeccable service, delicious taste and elegant ambience are the key points for this restaurant. The prices are a liitle on the upper side but is worth every penny. The portion size is enough to be comfortably eaten by 3 average adults. There were absolutely no complaints during my visit and hope it is the same with you. To conclude, possibly one the best restaurant when visiting Punjab.

Pathetic taste. No atmosphere to enjoy. Overpriced food items. Compact space with shady lights. Beware, they would charge 10 percent service charge extra on the bill amount, other than cgst and sgst. Looters in the name of restaurateurs. You will find a better quality find at half price outside the restaurant or outside the mall.

Looters…!! Worst experience. The way they have kept their prices, you can easily afford Taj or any other 5 star hotel, dont waste time for this property. You can go to Galleria or atta market to any restaurant and it will be anyway better than this one. Overall Pathetic experience- food, service etc.

Owner sardar is complete cheater and misguides its customers and applying excessive service charges on every bill even though Govt. ruling says payment of service charges is optional for customers. But he is mandatorily charging huge service charges and on complaint, he is misbehaving with customers. Never never go to this restaurant, most bad experience ever. Food quality is very bad and service is very poor. Worst restaurant ever seen.

I went thrice to this place and was disappointed all the time. Twice the place was smelling bad and then the third time the food wasn't good. They will show a reasonable price for a thali, but when you sit down and tell them you wanna order that thali, they will make faces and will not treat you good. Ala carte dishes are also not worth the price. Quantity is too less for a thali too. They should increase the quantity according to the breads they serve in a thali.

Only one word, Cheaters. First everything is overpriced and to top it portions are smaller. so you end up paying double than other good restaurants. now first cheating, they place over priced water bottle on your table and will add in the bill even if you don't use that. second cheating, they intentionally put paid stamp over service charge in your bill so that you miss to note that. The food is very average, the ambience is not good, very cramped, you don't get the bill at your table, you need to get out of the restaurant for bill and payment. you can be fine with overpriced restaurants if they provide quality but this place is actually intentional cheaters. they are frauds and use malpractices. absolute no. never go there.

The taste is fresh and good. Ambience is not so good. Very congested and noisy at peak time. The prices are surprisingly very high. If you are visiting with family then be ensure about the bill amount. Staff is good and fast service. Apart from the prices, all other is ok.

Today we thought of trying this restaurant to have our dinner and would specifically like to point out two things that their service is pathetic though after bringing to their attention they started taking the order and a untold or you ca uninformed trick to sell water is keep a bottle of branded water which costs ₹135 and then include it in the bill without informing that this isn't a regular water offered from their side it's branded Himalayan water so these are few downsides rest food is amazing in taste ordered Amritsari paneer and butter naan

Visited on 30th July 2023. Food quality is not good. Atmosphere is not up to the mark. Very tightly packed seats and sofas. Sofas and seats were torn out and held by tape. They charge higher as may be they are the only restaurant left in food court. Over all not a worthy place to visit.

The quantity is very less and the quality is nothing extraordinary. From what I could make out, the restaurant along with the other restaurants in the mall are not running well. The mall itself is a failure as it has lost its old charm. No wonder, we saw many empty rooms along the mall. The restaurant should keep less but skilled workers and rather focus on quality food. Also, did not like paying the bill outside the restaurant. It was really weird. Also, the interior plywood needs to be replaced asap. It doesn't do well, sitting there in the backdrop of Maharajah Duleep Singh's grand portrait.

Honestly, I dined here for dinner on 26/1/24. The food they served was tasteless and the texture wasn't great either. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place, even if they offered it for free. 🙏🏻 and I asked them provide me normal water and they serve may branded or may be any sponsored one which is worth 120 after tax 135 something…. Totally waste of money, experience and time. I recommend you eat from street not visit this place if you have last option.

Very much disappointed. I ordered a thali of rs 496 (tax included). On the gate I was told that water bottle was also included in this. The reality was different . When I placed my order for thaali, the first thing they did is they removed the bottle from the table. I was surprised. After that they served RO water from a glaas jug. Food quality and taste was just average. In mix veg, all they served was beans. The thaali was just below average. They have just hired some good sales people to pitch about the restaurant to the people passing by. Not worth the money.

Only restaurant left at this mall. By the way mall looks like a haunted house on top floor as all renowned restaurants have closed. This is an average restaurant with average food quality. Plates cleaned but glasses not…they were sticky. Dal and Paneer were good but mock tails very poorly made. Absolute zero in terms of cleanliness as insects were visible on empty tables. Last but not the least Prices are super expensive an average meal of 3 is 4700….

*** Humble request Bothers/Sister's please DO NOT visit *** Not sure on what basis they have set extreme high cost of dishes .... without even asking waiter will pour mineral water and they are charging 135 rupees for 1 mineral bottle. Ambience pathetic , furniture/sofa torn from many places. Really had very bad experience thank God we were only 2 person. Be ready for 10k plus bill if going with family and consuming alcohol. OWNER teri behen ko Naman !!!

With the covid situation u can feel a major cut down in the interiors, quality of food and the staff too. Evan got the food for take-away and packing was alos useless.. they didnt evan had bags to carry the food. Dinner for 2 here costed me as much as a dinner in 5 star. Comeon guyz you are in a mall's food court. Out of 2, 1 star is for the singer whos was there for entertainment. This was not my first visit but frankly speaking this was my last visit here. 💔

One girl was luring us we can't even stand in front of their restaurant and see the menu on the board. Fraud restaurant. Big cheaters. Overpriced for pathetic food. Worst experience, they charge a huge amount for less quantity of food, plus taste and quantity is not worth money, one naan is of 99 rupees and that too was so thin, huge shock was water bottle price, MRP was 120 and they looted 135 + taxes from us. A BIG NO, Waste of money don't go. They smartly hide the optional service tax behind "PAID THANKS" stamp, that too before we pay.

    1. forced to buy 1 litre water bottle for rs130 otherwise you will get tap water and risk your life. 2. butter chicken full plate has 4 small pieces, can't serve even 2 ppl. butter naan is like butter tandoori roti. 15% extra tax on menu prices is forced. butter chicken is Rs 610/plate (700 with tax) which is sky high for food court restaurants. overall u feel cheated in the name of punjabi dhaba.

This particular restaurant doesn’t have hygiene at all: we got the plates changed thrice then also, there were big scratches & marks on them every time.. lastly they said this time they had washed the plates with warm water and they don’t have any better plates.. very compact seating space and cockroaches scrolling besides customers on the side walls. Even though food was average, it was very expensive.. They have their billing and payment system outside the restaurant may be to many customers may be complaining for their service & food..

My experience was very bad here. I will recommend not to visit this restor. It is not worth. The taste of the food is not good, and the charges are also little high. Their food is not worth what they charge and they also take service charge separately. This make the impression very bad. Like if you order something regular for two people they will advice to take large saying it will not be sufficient for two, but actually regular is sufficient for two.

I have never eaten such bad food till date.I asked them about South Indian food, they said South Indian is not in the menu. But we will prepare for you. They took dosa from Vaango restaurant and served me at double rate ,Vaango masala dosa cost is 115 and they charged me 289.They gave me a water bottle which cost 120. After that I tried dosa which smelled very bad. I will never suggest this restaurant to anyone.

Going down with a decent fight. All I can say about the restaurants in The Great Indian Place mall is that they are just trying to get as much business as possible before management pulls the plug on them. Most outlets are closed on that floor, so the restaurant staff comes out of it and requests like hawkers to dine. Food , service and the booze...everything is good. The management has stopped beautifying the interiors as this will shutdown from here in few months. Do visit before it closes. It is the same fate for other restaurants on that floor.

Punjabis is one of the oldest family restobar still existent in GIP. It is situated on the top floor within the food court. It is a North Indian restaurant which serves liquor as well. The food is very spicy. We tasted Peshwari chicken, kadhai chicken and chicken Saagwala, all overtly spicy. Starters, particularly Tikka items are good. Rest like Doahi ke sholay are avoidable. Drinks are good, they serve fruit beer. But they serve best garlic and butter naan. Seating arrangement is tight. Service is average to okay.
