Alaknanda market is a great place for street food. Moreover, you will have sitting places around. It seems really nice in evening. It's a crowded place so you really need to put your masks on all the time. Highly recommended!!

Superb place if you want fresh mutton or chicken. The corner meat shop has it all. The cooperative stores give you all the things to suit bengali kitchen. The pooja samagri shop has some nice agarbathis.
