Very authentic Lebanese Restaurant. One of the best eating places in this part of The Gambia. I would recommend the 6 dish Mezze. They have lots of really tasty food.

This is not gourmet food. It is very good Lebanese food. The owner is outstanding, like a less polished Ali Kerim Bey. His wife as well, and the spicy homemade sauce is brilliant. Eat outside, after dodging the oily characters lurking out front, bring a smile and lots of hunger.

We visited this quiet resteraunt as I love Lebanese food. The food was good but Lebanese selections needs to be bigger if we were to return.

I love Lebanese food but don't often get the chance to go to a restaurant with a full Lebanese menu. We enjoyed 6 items from the mezze menu for an incredible 1500D which turned out to be great value for two people. The first mouthful of Tabbouleh just had my taste buds tingling again! One of their mezzo options is a hummus with mincemeat in the middle - rather an interesting twist! We were served by a very smart, professional and courteous Gambian crew led by Lamin. Service was exemplary. Even the owner came over for a little banter and he seems to be a very jovial character. An enjoyable experience for sure! *Update 2024*: seems like the restaurant I visited - Shiraz - has been renamed since I first went there 2 years ago and again last year. I hope my review still holds true.

We had been here last week because of the good recommendations on here. We both were shocked when we were forced to listen how the boss (Lebanese or something) shouted at his employees for no reason at all! They were very attentively, shy and extrem friendly and I was very ashamed and did not feel comfortable at all. To the Boss: Never do this and never EVER in front of your guests! The employees (3 of them) stood next to us for the whole time we were eating and we felt very uncomfortable. I hope the boss does big changes and starts to treat his employees right. The food was overpriced but okay. I wont go there again.
