We love going to Freddy’s when we’re in The Gambia. Freddy and the staff are really friendly. The open air restaurant is clean and comfortable. We’ve tried most of the main dishes but the favourite is the grilled butterfish. Make sure you order a fried ice cream for dessert because they are amazing. Freddy’s is located near the craft market and is within walking distance from many beachfront hotels.

Wonderful hidden gem with excellent food!

A wonderful location - excellent food, well prepared, service with a smile. Outdoors / open air and the tables are spaced to provide physical distancing. A real gem and a must go!
