Very comfortable sunloungers which are set out really well to allow for personal space. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. Roots makes an excellent relaxing day out from the hustle bustle of some other tourist areas. Wishing Libby every success.

Great bar service with super waiters who can’t do enough for you. Excellent food brought to the sun bed, or eat on the terrace. Good range of drinks to accompany the food. Peaceful, calm & freshly painted with a stunning sunset from the top terrace. Highly recommend the lovely owner Libby & her team for a great day out. Will definitely return every year we visit Gambia!!

Roots beach bar and restaurant was a wonderful place to spend a leisurely afternoon. The staff could not have been more helpful - nothing was too much trouble! Special thanks to Libby for making this such a welcoming place to visit. The views over the beach and the ocean are stunning, the food was fantastic (and excellent value for money too).This was a lovely place to visit and I’ll definitely return during my stay in the Gambia.
