If i decide to come try again I will leave a better review. But upon the service of trying to have a sit down meal and the hunny being shunned away was disrespectful. A simple sorry were closing and not taking further seating arrangements would have been fine. But the attidude and sheer disrespect from the host??? I would like to update my review as we tried this place again. We sat there for about 20 minutes after being seated with no server to come take our drink orders or even greet us. I was about to walk out but he went to grab someone and it wound up being the manager. Vicki apologized sincerely and told us she would take off our appetizers and drinks. Angie became our server and she was absolutely amazing. She was very helpful with everything and fixed any mistake up as there was a wrong drink brought to our table so she apologized and fixed it very quickly. Christopher wound up taking over for Angie and he was ok but definitely couldn't fill Angie's shoes. He brought us boxes at the end and 10 minutes later we literally had to ask for our check. Usually the waiter will bring u ur check with the boxes or go grab it right after but come on... I didn't receive a pasta spoon so that made eating alot messier then I'm used to and without the check ins I couldn't ask for one. So we got our check and couldn't pay. We had to take it up to Vicki and not only was our drinks still on our ticket but we were double charged for the mistake. She only took off the mistake. So the promises she made about taking off the drinks and apps for our inconveniences only mounted to taking off the one appetizer. Thanks Vicki. Should have walked out like I wanted to in the beginning. Onto the food portion. It was not 5 star quality. They didn't have the lasagna fritas we originally wanted so we got these instead. Not recommended over the lasagna fritas. I didn't like my chicken and seafood pasta so my hunny switched me plates with his Alfredo. The salad was very heavy on Italian dressing. I like mine light so I guess I should have specified that. As I mentioned above. No pasta spoons. Sure it would have been an ok meal and I wouldn't have picked it apart so much if they would have made things right. But instead. We were lied to. After waiting and almost walking out because we didn't have any service. And the food wasn't exactly screaming for a return of the customer. The best part about our visit was the server Angie. And sadly we won't come again. Guess we should have known by the way they treated us the first visit. As my first review states

The Olive garden never disappoints my family. This was our first time back since December 2019... Then the pandemic news came & in the first quarter of 2020 our world changed. So we didn't get a chance to go out much because I have parents in their 70's & they opted to stay inside & no more going to restaurants. Fast forward to the 11th of March 2022 & we came back to celebrate 🍾 my mom's Birthday 🎂 🥳 here, because she was craving their famous Salmon & broccoli with the all you can eat Salad & Breadsticks. We started with the fried shrimp 🍤 appetizers with fried bell peppers & onions that come with this delicious spicy ranch dressing to dip everything in. We also got the Fried Ravioli with the spicy ranch dip as well, Which I highly recommend‼️‼️Our server was a real sweetheart & I HAD to tip her an extra $20 on top of her tip that was added to our debit card payment cause she took very good care of the 6 of us at her table. She was on top of her game with refilling drinks & butter & breadsticks & salads & extra dressing for my mom & grandma. We had her running back & forth for sure & she didn't disappoint at all. Our food was served pretty fast & I was surprised because the place was packed. Everyone's dish came HOT 🔥 & delicious to our table. We all accepted the "Freshly grated parmesan cheese" on our dinners as well. Everything went perfectly for my mom's birthday. We bought a cake & our waitress put it in the fridge for us until we were ready to sing Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 Then staff members all came over to help sing. We had a blast there & it was a 5 star 🌟 visit & review. I cannot thank the Olive Garden & its wonderful staff ❤️ for a beautiful night out with my family & an amazing dinner as well. THIS was all that was left of my mom's cake because our bellies were full of food. We will 100% be back again. It was so worth it after being away for 2 years & 3 months. I don't get here often, as it's the only one here in town and the lunch time wait is too long. Well the food was basically okay; a little dry everywhere. The breadsticks were not fresh or warm, and the main course was dry. The Bellini was really good, and the service was stellar - If I could single out the service for a rating, it would be 5 stars . I noticed on the menu that fettuccine seems to be the side pasta for everything. It's not really the best choice when having chicken marsala. I know that fettuccine Is really cheap, and the sure sign of a cost saving measure, but it is also heavy and flavorless. . And, I dislike poorly prepared pasta, as this was lukewarm and a little chewy. I would not consider going here again in the near future. I DO recommend the 'italian donuts' though

This place used to be excellent, now not so much. The food is flavorless, don’t think we will be back.

Super delicious food and great attentive service! Waitress was excellent in waiting my table. Prices were reasonable and Restaurant's atmosphere was cozy with lots of tables.

Everything is above the average, but the iced tea is too sweet to drink. The place is good to eat, and the vibe is fantastic. It's a good place to date if you don't order iced tea.

We celebrated my birthday, again, at the Olive Garden. We got the unlimited salad, soup and bread sticks. Plus we added another pasta. It was my birthday celebration so they got me a slice of tiramisu with "Happy Birthday" on the plate! How cool is that? It turns out that on that very evening, there were several more families celebrating birthdays! Love it.

Food is always good here. I love all the pasta. The marinera chicken is my top favorite. Tour of Italy is always on my top 5

Short wait considering it was friday night. Our food was delicious. Our server Sydney was extremely attentive. And received a free desert for my birthday.

I've come to this particular Olive Garden quite a few times and I've never had a bad experience. Everyone was extremely nice offering assistance for my disabled mother by moving a chair from the table and making it more comfortable for her. They always offer great recommendations of course it's subjective to what they particularly enjoy but I always go with it. This last time I went It happened right after the fire incident occurred and the smell of smoke was very faint, nothing overpowering. The gentleman waiting our table was really friendly asking how we all were asking if we had been there before and just all around exceptional customer service being implemented. I was skeptical about a dish and asked him about it and he gave his honest opinion so I ordered it and was so happy I did so. It was exceptional!

This is a typical olive garden with good food and huge portions. I tried the chicken gnocchi soup and it's just amazing. I didn't enjoy the chicken Parmesan much. The staff is pretty good and quick. We went a little late around 9:30 so there weren't many people in there and it was a little dark

Fantastic place to enjoy breakfast and lunch! We were greeted by our friendly waitresses, Raj, when we walked in. She accommodated our group of 6 and provided exceptional customer service! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us with suggestions. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. They even have a little area by the register with gifts and souvenirs. Highly recommend this place!

The Olive Garden off of New Stine Rd in Bakersfield, CA is hands down the best Olive Garden restaurant that I have been to. Our waitress, Christmas, was incredible. She was very personable and always made sure that we were taken care of. Furthermore the quality of the food was great and it was very tasty. If you are in the area I highly recommend that you stop by for lunch or dinner. Thanks for the great experience. William

Olive Garden used to be my all time favorite! The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was always a go to in my family. I have noticed over the course of time the Alfredo sauce has lost its value. But never the less it was still pretty decent. Yesterday my family went in and the Alfredo sauce was disgusting… it tasted like watered down flavorless sauce…. I know for sure they’ve changed the ingredients because it doesn’t have the butter it used to have. The butter would always separate from the cheese in the left overs and it doesn’t do it any more. Anyways food just isn’t as good as it once was. And the waitress never offered refills we had to hunt her down constantly. Atmosphere is alright. Over all I feel it’s not worth my time to come back here anymore unfortunately. The downgrade in the quality and taste of the food alone is enough for me to not come back :(

I took my girlfriend and her daughter here for the first time, and they loved it! Our waitress was amazing and so kind, the food was great and the atmosphere was lovely, the food was brought out in a very timely manner and It did not disappoint. We all left full and happy, 10/10 we will definitely be back again.

Plenty of parking spots. Wait time was reasonable. Staff was nice and friendly. The soup was great as always. The breadsticks are addictive but filling so don't overdo it. The fettuccine is delicious. The alcoholic drinks are moderate.

We had a pleasant evening at this establishment, the customer service is very good, restaurant was clean and comfy, and it was good value for money. Why one star? Simply because this chain is lying to you. Italian born and bred here and you won't find anything which can even remotely resemble Italian food. If you looking for real Italian kitchen then you better look somewhere else.

I had a last-minute meeting that didn't give me leeway for dinner. I ordered a pan of spaghetti with meatballs and sauce. I was shocked by the price, a little pricey. I guess I was paying for the "convenience." The food was ready as promised and delicious. I waited in the car while someone brought it to me. It was worth it since everything worked out accordingly. Shout out to Gage, my server was on point, attentive and very very manner able and polite. Thanks Gage....the food , the service was excellent. Great place to go on Sundays for family time. Drinks were good and generous. Busy spot so think about the time when you go, you will wait a good 10- 20 minutes. Food comes out hot and salad was fresh fresh fresh.

We went on Saturday night while it was packed. The service was excellent from beginning to end even though we had a pretty big group. We were not disappointed with our food choices! I noticed that all of the employees were dressed nice and looked neat, clean and professional. There was one male server with his face done up like a drag queen. Since his makeup was so overdone and dramatic, i was wondering if they would allow a female to represent the company like that or if they were afraid of a law suit?? Would they allow someone to come in with their face painted like a clown?? It was very unprofessional and he certainly didn’t fit the evident dress code that the other servers were presenting. He was also wearing long black fingernails with sharp points that should not be allowed for any food server regardless of any personal statements employees are trying to make. I heard him explaining that he was having challenges doing certain tasks with the nails on. Long nails of any kind do not look sanitary nor professional in the food industry. He seemed like he was doing an excellent job and had a great enthusiastic personality. There should be a written dress code that would apply to any and all food servers that would prevent this kind of thing from happening without fear of Repercussion. There’s a time and place for everything.

I had to ask if someone was going to take our order. We did get our food fast once the order was taken. The server was notified that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. The server failed to check on our tablet and server the birthday girl with an ice cream We said something about it a few times and we got nothing. Meanwhile others are getting a birthday song and ice cream. We had to flag our server down for any services several times. Not a very good impression of good service. But the food was good.

My granddaughter graduated from Taft College, on Friday, May 20th. After the ceremony, we wanted to take her to eat. They were the only restaurant that would accommodate us, on such short notice, since they were closing at 11:00 pm, and we didn't arrive until after 9:30 pm. The staff was very patient and professional, and the food was delicious. Never did we feel like we were being rushed or holding up their closing. There was at least 20 of us, so my hat's off to them for handling the last minute reservation.

We call to make a reservation one day in advance because we knew, how busy this place can get we were celebrating my niece's birthday. They told us there was no need to reserve a table. We call again Monday morning because we wanted to have dinner there, that evening we ask again they said it wouldn’t be a problem but they couldn’t reserve a table it was about 15 people in our party we just wanted to make sure we wouldn’t have to wait and they would be ready for our group. We call 15 minutes before heading there and told us that there was no wait time. We get there and they tell us is a 2 hour wait for such a big group, food is great there but they lack on there costumer service, we end up at Sorella that was by far the best decision we made that night.

Great place to go with the family. My girls love it! The wait was a little long but that could have been avoided by making a reservation, that's on us. Food was great and staff was excellent!
