Beautiful scenery, many really nice people. If you walk down to the bottom, remember there are many homeless hanging out below. Just use caution. If you are alone . That was what was suggested to me.

I'm from Sacramento, CA and the Bluffs are my favorite place to sit and relax when visiting Bakersfield. I look forward to sunset. Parking is limited but worth finding a spot! Check it out for sure! You won't be disappointed at all.

Right in town. You don't have to drive far to get this spectacular view. Pictures do not do it justice. Also trails up and down the hillside. Look like maybe bike trails but I would be too scared to try it. But I was definitely pleasantly surprised to randomly pull up to this area.

Beautiful place and beautiful scenery. In a way, I like this place more than the Hart Park. You can go for picnic or even tracking down the hill to the Kern river and climb up the hill back. Nice exercise and fun! Just gotta be careful of any beavers, coyotes, bobcats, bears and earwigs! I got pinched by an earwig lol.

It was a beautiful day walking at the park. I enjoyed watching the squirrels have to be careful walking on dirt theres a bunch of holes you can break your ankle or you can fall. So just to be safe walk at the paved area.

Panorama Park or locally known as "The Bluffs" is one of the most scenic places in all of Bakersfield where you can take walks with an almost daily constant breeze as you enjoy the sights. I would strongly recommend checking this place out on days where the air quality is visibly cleaner or afternoons when clouds begin to clear so you too can see the ability this place has at giving you outstanding views of the rest of Bakersfield to the west & fantasy story book worthy covers of the hills towards the east. (An honorable mention to this place would have to be on nights where the moon is at its brightest)

Great park to go for a walk or any kind of physical activite . Well maintained and clean in most places . Lots of trails to choose from and different difficulties . Theres a way to get all the way down to the river and you might even see a beaver if lucky. Morning without a doubt best times to go .

Love Panorama Park, except when it catches on fire randomly (not random when it's caused by the homeless being unsafe below). Thankful for our friendly neighborhood firefighters. They stay busy over here on the East Side.

Great park for walking your dog or running in general. The parking is just off the street to right and there is plenty, the view towards the oil fields from the cliff this park stands on is pretty and the best time is usually sunsets and it kinda gets busy then but it’s pretty good spot.

Very picturesque!!!!! It's like a skyway into heaven. Beautiful place to take a run, do wedding/graduation pics or just enjoy a nice sunrise/sundown. As a tourist, this is one place id definitely recommend you visit. Worth the drive and once you are physically here the views are breathtaking. Was clean and upkept and there's restaurants etc for you to enjoy after a beautiful walk or hike.

I Love the Bluffs!! It's fun to hike the trails, relaxing to just sit and chat with friends or family. I think it's beautiful at night one to see all the lights from the oilfields. Definitely recommend going to bluffs.

I love going there to feed the squirrels, I do it every single night.

  • 4/5 R W. 9 months ago on Google
Lots of fat squirrels to feed. Didn't get mugged. If you squint your eyes, you can pretend you're looking out over the ocean.

#Mybestfriendburrito always loves going here. We both love this place. Lots of room for Burrito to free roam without bumping into other dogs. Good exercise walking up and downhill or a beautiful view if you'd rather stay up top to walk.

Nice view Of the area. Unfortunately the area isn't very Nice to look at . After all it is Bakersfield with oil drills and burnt out Hills . There's a nice breeze and nice people walking and walking their pets But no dog bag refills. Plenty of ground squirrels and cute rabbits Actually both were cute and playful. It's still nice to look at At such a wide view.. Definitely a nice place to go in the morning.

Great place to jog, or just take a nice walk. Lots of benches and amazing views.

  • 4/5 Manny M. 2 years ago on Google
With some bathrooms and some lighting it could be a 5 star park. Unique terrain overlooking the Kern River/oilfields the park is often cooler with a slight breeze. Always has people walking on the path. Excellent collection of trails on the adjoining hillside for walking or bikes.

Beautiful scenery from up and down the hill. Nice little trail

  • 2/5 Malaya R. 1 year ago on Google
It was all fine til this guy started following us.. My sister and I and my 7 yr old nephew which he seemed to be more interested in. I called him on it "why are you so close to us?" He then proceeded to slide down the hill and started following another couple who started walking faster to get away from him. Mind you it's 4:30pm Sunday so there was other people and plenty of daylight.... Imagine if he's out there at night He seemed to know the trails pretty well. Very scary.

Perfect place for a good run, bicycle ride and more cardio activity. But always bring your pepper spray or a hiking stick to protect you from crak heads or dogs. Always.

Usually a great experience, have heard of the kidnappings from that area so I don't go after 4/5 pm. The location provides a nice breeze, with great loop paths and I appreciate the benches so much aching bones can take a break 👌
