This dim-lighted, authentic, delicious restaurant is perfect for a romantic date. The food and service will discreetly raise your mental bar for restaurants forever. I personally prefer the NY steak and Scampi with a side of alfredo pasta. Steak melts in your mouth and the flavor flows all the way through. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this meal.

Took my wife to dinner here as a small celebration. The food was great 👍🏻. My first time here I think I will be back in the future.

Ravioli rustico came in a very bland and under seasoned green pea sauce. There was nothing egregiously bad about it, just nothing special and not enough salt. The creme brûlée was the same. Thin layer of sugar that was unevenly Caramelized. Chocolate sauce added very little chocolate bitterness to it. The interior of the restaurant is nice, however the balloons in the walkways made it a bit awkward to get by. I will be going back to review again just in case I went on an off day.

We went to La Piazza for my wife's birthday. It is one of her most favorite places. We had a reservation for Monday and when we arrived we were seated immediately and there were only two other parties dining. Received our salads right away after we ordered then we waited at least 30 minutes before the Waitress came by to refill our Iced teas and said it was taking longer because of a large party but our food would be out soon. Another 25 minutes go by with no waitress in sight or update. Finally got up and found the waitress to get out ticket. They prepared the ticket and charged us for the 3 salads, two iced teas and Whiskey Sour. I paid the $51 for this and we left. Did not really get much of an explanation or apology for the nearly 45 minutes we waited after the salads before we left.

This restaurant is orders of magnitude better than any other Italian place around. The staff and the owners are focused on a quality dining experience and the chef is a master in the kitchen. Everything is scratch made. The marinara sauce is so good you could eat it like a soup. They have a more thoughtful wine list than most places that serve wine locally. This place has a really special spot in my heart for being amazing in every way, and never letting me down.

Occasionally a lazy drive with no destination in mind results in something special. Finding La Piazza was our reward today. The restaurant was busy so we settled into a table on their patio. The owner was so proud of her establishment, and had a charming personality. The menu choices were wonderful. The waitstaff were friendly, attentive and skillful. The food was delicious . If you haven’t been here, and you want a premier dining experience, make a reservation and enjoy.

We visited the restaurant last night and the food from appetizers to dessert was wonderful. Our wait staff was prompt and attentive, the bar drinks were perfect and I can’t wait to go back. We were with another couple and it definitely was a night of good food, good company and a good evening.

La Piazza is, without a doubt, Tulare County's finest restaurant in more ways than one. I woke up thinking about our wonderful experience there last night, so here I am writing a review at 6:00am. We frequent LaPiazza for special occasions and fun nights out with friends because the food is ALWAYS prepared fresh and the atmosphere warm and comfortable. They serve Italian staples as well as daily specials, but the difference in this restaurant is how authentic it feels. The fresh gorgonzola cheese on the Italian salad with balsamic dressing is our favorite way to start a meal (it's even better when you add the tiny chicken meatballs). Warm bread and butter is delivered to the table and there are many hand crafted cocktails and beer choices. I chose the New York steak Marsala (a house special) which was cooked perfectly....and the sauce, divine. My husband swears by the fettuccine Alfredo and won't order it anywhere else. He also devoured a peach creme Brule for desert but I managed to get a quick bite first and it was amazingly creamy and flavorful. The bottom line is.....try this place, you won't be dissapointed!

Best steak ever but service is bad. There’s a guy who keeps walking around looks like the undertaker. Didn’t feel special but spent almost $200 for just my fiancé and I. Steak was good but not worth the rest. Ordered a spicy margarita and instead of spicy it was messy. The drink spilled and not once did our waitress offer to clean it up. I had to ask them to clean it up. I didn’t make the mess.

I was disappointed to have a poor dining experience at this restaurant. While the customer service was excellent, with the owner greeting patrons, unfortunately the chicken in my fettuccine Alfredo dish was extremely tough and difficult to chew. It seemed as though it had been frozen and then reheated, becoming hardened in the process. I had to spit some of it out since it was so chewy. Serving overly cooked chicken indicates an issue in the kitchen that day. I appreciate that Italian dining options are limited in this area, but I would suggest driving to Olive Garden where I have had much better fettuccine Alfredo in the past. I don't like leaving a one star review, but I cannot overlook being served such an inferior chicken dish that was essentially inedible. Hopefully this was just an anomaly and the kitchen oversight will be addressed, as I would be willing to give this restaurant another try in the future. With a few improvements in food preparation, it could live up to its full potential.

I have been traveling once a year to the restaurant one hour each way. Who would think that you could find a great Italian restaurant in Tulare. The interior layout and decor is exceptional. The menu has been trimmed back do to Covid, but still excellent.

Food was amazing. Service was great after all the guests arrived. We had a party of 7 and everyone was very pleased with the food. Check with tip was just over 600 though the kids had a few drinks which added a bit. The menu options varied so could have a great dinner with friends and average 1/2 of that if you chose. Think the most expensive was like a 30oz New York steak at 67 dollars. I am in my 60ies so by the kids I mean 30 and 40 something with son, daughter and their friends, oh and my wife being 35. Come on I saw those eyebrows go up. Wife is actually in her 50ies. Everyone enjoyed the evening. This is a restaurant that is worth being a destination even if you are not from Tulare. Very nice.

This place was pretty nice. The food was delicious, my family and I were pleased. Yet my niece got her food super late and had barely gotten half-way through her food when everyone else was moving on to sing happy birthday to my mother. The waiter wasn’t the best. She rolled her eyes when my niece told her she forgot about her food (which she did) and asked for a refill of Pepsi. When my niece got a refill of Pepsi a few minutes later, the waiter spilt some of it on the table and acted like nothing had ever happened. Nice place, nice food, bad waiter.

If I could give more stars I would! This is hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been too. From the wait staff to the atmosphere the decor. Don’t even get me started on the food. I did not want it to end. So scrumptious full of flavor fresh ingredients. Forget Olive Garden this is my new favorite Italian spot.

I like this restaurant, the food always tastes good, the personnel is nice, and friendly. Only the soup Minestrone doest taste Italian. Minestrone is not spicy. Spicy should be an option. Traditional should be standard.

This place was suggested by my apprentice, and I have to say I was not disappointed at all. Ordered almost everything on the menu tomahawk steak, kalamari, shrimp pasta, rack of lamb, and all of it was great. Our server Iran did an awesome job with suggestions and made sure everything was to our liking.

Great Italian restaurant in tulare! We love coming here. This time I tried the pollo piccata, and it was delicious. We also had the New York and prawns and oh man that was super tasty too. Great staff and they always get you seated promptly. enjoy!

Very nice place to dine and wine, Alex our server was very attentive and friendly. The appetizer that I got was the fried calamari and it was on point, main course did not disappoint along with the New York cheesecake as my desert, I don't think can go wrong with any dish. Highly recommend making a reservation as it seems like this place gets pretty busy.

Food was very tasty with generous portion sizes and good options for vegetarians. Service however was very poor. Even with a time based reservation, we were seated at the table only after 20 minutes of our reservation. I can understand if the delay was due to tables not being available, but in this case there was no one to attend to us at the reception. After being seated at the table, it took another 10 minutes before someone attended to us after we had to ask for water. Same case when it came to ordering desserts, we had to flag down a staff member before we could get some attention.

All the years living here I have never been to this place. Finally pulled the plug and went with my cousin. The ambience is pretty much what you expect. Small and cute and gets busy real quick. They have two shifts available to choose from, lunch and dinner which they close in between. The service was amazing and equal to the menu pricing. The drink “the godfather” I got was not what I had expected. It was good, but not what I would order. It does happen to go down smooth. We split the New York Marsala which is a 16oz steak with veggies and we added fettuccini Alfredo and they also charge a $2.50 split plate fee fyi. The food was cooked perfectly medium rare and full of flavor. Made me realize what I had been missing out all this time. For dessert I had their special Vino e Gelato. Pretty good and home made. A few scoops of vanilla ice cream with a red wine reduction sauce with a berry compote. It was all amazing.

I ordered dessert at the same time as I ordered my meal and I was corrected and was told that now is not the time to order dessert. I thought that was rude. The only reason I chose this restaurant is because they have tiramisu which is my all time favorite dessert. I was very excited about trying theirs. After our meal, my daughter ordered dessert and my server never brought me mine. I left very disappointed and will not be revisiting this establishment.

I got the salmon speciality dish which was very good, though the salmon was a bit dry. Overall, I liked the atmosphere, the staff were friendly, decor was nice, strawberry crème brûlée was good, a solid place to eat.

This place was great for dinner. The plate I had was chicken alfredo with bow tie pasta. It was delicious. The ice cream for dessert was swell as well. Highly reccomend for a date night or anniversary dinner.

I live in Sacramento and ended up here this week for work. Was extremely impressed by the entire experience at La Piazza. The service. The drinks. The food (exceptional gnocchi, and delicious poached pear for dessert). The atmosphere. Highly recommend.
