Don’t arrive after 5 pm or you won’t get codes to the bathroom. Ridiculous when I’ve paid $50 for essentially nothing more than a gravel parking spot for my van. The wifi didn’t work and the train nearby is very loud. Complete waste of money. I wish I could get a refund. It’s really unpleasant to wake up surrounded by people and have to hunt someone down to let you use the bathroom when you paid so much to be there in the first place.

One of our favorite RV parks, but we’re always just passing through and stopping for a day. The park is kept spotless. Clean laundry facilities. Several small fenced in dog park areas, some with grass. Easy no haste online booking, check in was even easier with out reservation and a map hanging on the board outside. The 90 foot pull through was very easy to get set up in and plenty big for our large RV with five slides. We stayed there last week and will be there again this week on our way back through. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Orange Grove. This was our second time staying at this RV park. It’s well maintained, quiet and relaxing. There was plenty of open spaces so our kids were able to roam with us and enjoy walking around. We were able to get a pull through site with our trailer that’s over 40ft and we were able to stay hooked up to our truck which made for a easy departure the next morning! I would recommend stopping here.

We arrived yesterday and are blown away by this place from the very start we pulled into a very clean and organized facility. Immediately received our paperwork and map and easily pulled into our spot. We have stayed at a ton of resorts over our last few months of our Route 66 adventure and this place is by far superior. Laundry rooms are spotless and run on an app from your phone!! Bathrooms spotless and spacious. Not only is there a lounge area for guest with a pool table and very beautiful rustic feeling den. It has a rec room and a all purpose room equips with stove cooking utensils etc!!! 10/10 They have done a great job very happy we have found this resort!!! We highly recommend this park to anyone from pricing to cleanliness we are extremely pleased!!!

The oranges are the best feature of this RV park! They are the sweetest and juiciest we’ve ever had any where in our entire lives! We stay here as a stopover between Sacramento and southern Cal just to pick oranges. RV park itself has typical spacing between rigs with paved roads but gravel pads. Can’t say anything about the amenities or the staff because we arrive late and we’re gone early. But those oranges…….

This park is in an old orange grove. There are orange trees on every site and you are encouraged to pick them. The staff in the office are very friendly and polite. We got stranded due to a snow storm and they managed to get us in a space for an extra night. The maintenance guy is very friendly also. We had a nice conversation while he was filling a propane tank for me. The park is off the beaten path, so it is nice and quiet. We stayed here in the winter so we didn't get to use the pool.

We stayed for 1 week over Thanksgiving. The sites are clean with a table and several orange trees at each site. There are multiple laundry facilities throughout the park, and the one we used was very clean. We did not use the restrooms, showers or exercise room. We were looking forward to using the pool table, but were curtly informed that it was closed by the lady working at the front desk. We assumed that we had misunderstood the hours it was open, or it was being cleaned. When we came back later that day to try again a different lady at the desk kindly explained that the area was closed while they are upgrading their wifi systems as they needed the space for storage. We will definitely consider staying here again when traveling through the Bakersfield area.

Loved this RV resort. Easy reservations and check in. Huge level, pull-through sites. We could fit our 5th wheel, tow vehicle, and car with room to spare. We were only here for one night and didn't even have to unhook. The laundry was close so I was able to get that done. The laundry room had a cool app so I didn't even need to get quarters. We were able to pick oranges for fresh squeezed orange juice. The cost was the same as we paid the night previously for someplace not nearly as nice. I totally would stay here again.

My wife is a travel nurse so we just finished an 12 week stay. It was great!!!. The park is very quite and everyone was friendly. The gym is very nice with a good selection of equipment. The location was perfect for us because the hospital was only a few miles from the resort. Leeann was the best. Very attentive and patient. She helped to make our stay very pleasant. We will definitely be going back.

Orange Grove RV Park was our 88th stop and we stayed for 2 nights nights as a transit point to Sequoia National Park. Checked in without engaging office staff but found them pleasant when returning to the office to ask a question. The park was large and nicely laid out, the roads were paved and easy to navigate and two of the three small dog parks had grass. This site had a gravel surface that was level on pull up – not a common occurrence – and was long but the hook ups were more toward the front of the site. They had a fairly extensive cable tv listing (59 digital channels), good over the air access to channels but the WiFi was non-existent. When hooking up to the utilities, there was no water pressure as they have been working on a pump issue for a week – they had information posted on the office door and in the information packet. The issue was not with the water itself but in the lack of communication to incoming guests regarding the situation. There have been a number of parks who have had issues come up and they communicated days or weeks in advance about the issue by mail, email, phone call or text offering us a chance to cancel or modify our reservations – we did not make any changes. With the water issue, we could have bought more water in advance. But knowing about a potential issue before arriving is good business. In terms of connectivity: WiFi had technical difficulties; T-Mobile 3.79 down/3.68 up; Verizon 119.0 down/25.0 up. Would stay here again if in the area.

Kinda scary showing up here at night. Not a lot of light. But well maintained, with a nice pool. Spacious, level, pull-through spots with actual orange trees. However, the trees aren't very tall; they're not tall enough to shade your RV, or the area around your RV...you'll want to use your awning.

What a nice place!! It was actually recommended to us by another RV Park and we were so thankful. It’s lovely, well maintained, and clean. The staff we dealt with were very helpful and friendly. The laundry room was reasonably priced and did a good job laundering clothes. The sites were very spacious and the biggest we’ve stayed in on our travels across country. We would highly recommend a stay here and look forward to coming back again in the future.

We were there in April and it was very pleasant. The smell of orange blossoms was very lovely. There were trains that came through but we barely noticed. The bathrooms were spotless and the showers were huge. The front desk clerk was very pleasant and accepted our phone reservation with no problem. We are going to come back on our way home, and are looking forward to it.

We just happened by this park on our way to AZ. Beautiful, clean park with orange trees on almost every site! You are welcome to pick the oranges when they are ripe! We really liked this park. Well maintained. Not too close to the highway and trains. Surrounded by orange groves. All pull throughs with FHU. We will stay again.

Easy access. Big rig friendly. Clean. Beautiful. As the name implies, the sites are located in an orange grove. Pleanty of room for big rigs and slide outs. Full hookups included. Spacious and clean. A large property with many sites. Thank you Leanne for an easy and fast booking and checkin. Access is Highway 58 adjacent and easy to get to. On-off freeway access is marvelous. Of particular note, this place is a couple miles from most eating establishments. However, check out my review of "El PUEBLO" Mexican Restaurant just 7 miles away in Lamont, CA It was an amazing food experience. Back to the RV Park... Would stay again and would certainly recommend to others

Absolutely awesome park. A coworker recommended this place to me, and this is now the only place I will stay in the bakersfield area. Super easy access off HWY 58. Big pull through sites, beautiful fruit trees at every space, well kept laundry rooms. The WiFi is super fast, you have to sign up for it and pay for it, but it works excellent. I stayed 3 weeks while working in the area and always felt safe and felt that my stuff was secure. Bakersfield is what it is, but this place is on the outside of town and was all around a great stop. Note for workers, the monthly rate requires a minimum 3month stay, otherwise you have to move out after 3weeks. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the area. Pickup truck pulling a 38ft travel trailer.

Great stopping place before going over the pass and on to Arizona. We had a hiccup on the road and couldn't make it in on our reserved day, however. One quick call, and we had it changed to the following day. At check-in, things couldn't have been any smoother. It was quiet in the evening, and no annoying streetlights shone in my face as I slept. Military discount and Good Sam available. We'll stay here again.

We stayed here for a week. Very low stress stay. Our site was easy to get into, lots of room. Not a crowded park at all, plenty of open spaces when we stayed so it was nice and quiet with just a few other campers on our street for most of our visit. The orange trees were lovely, and I enjoyed being able to pick the fruit. StarLink worked great. There are a total of 3 different laundry facilities and you can pay with an app (very easy/convenient) or use quarters. They even have a place in the park where you can wash your RV. The park is huge, and I had a great time walking around it in the mornings and getting some exercise.

What a great park. We had a huge spot right next to the activities room. They have a gym, laundry room and game room in that building. Just outside of the pool area with the bathrooms there is a fenced dog area that was super clean. The park has a great layout with wide spots. This park is exceptionally clean and the staff are so friendly. We came to town to visit our family and play with our grandkids. The location is ideal just off the freeway but absolutely no road noise. I did hear a train off in the distance but it was not a big deal for us. The park also has night security. (Not that I felt they needed it) we will definitely make this our go to place every time we are in town.

Clean and quiet, nice bathroom and showers. Got to pick some oranges. The lounge was nice, got to watch some TV and play billiards. Location wise though it was close to a train which is easy to ignore if you wear ear plugs otherwise it was quite frequent. Also it was pretty far from grocery stores and the onsite store closes pretty early. Picnic tables are provided but no fire pit.

Just spent a great night here after a week of desert off-roading/primitive camping before heading back home to Northern Calif. The spaces were pretty level and wide enough for slide outs without hitting the orange trees dividing each space. It was quiet, clean and friendly. Loved the “Lodge.” I found a comfy spot on a couch to watch a movie while the rest of our group went up to play pool in the loft. Now on the road again after a nice, long shower and a good tank flushing out. Thanks, Orange Grove RV Park, we’ll see you next time!

We made the mistake of going to Kern River Campground owned by the county. We quickly left and came to Orange Grove RV Park. Excellent staff, beautiful park, big lots and extremely clean. Electric, water, sewer and cable TV. Xfinity cell reception was 5g 5 bars. Multiple dog parks and runs. Swimming pool, 2 bath houses, store and more. Orange trees everywhere. Did I say it is clean? Clean clean clean. Plus they have ice cream. I love this place.

Has been our go-to in the past- clean, nice staff, love picking oranges. Went corporate a year or so ago; we’ll see how that went. Starting to get expensive. If all is well, I’ll come back and change this to five stars, as we do enjoy stopping here.

One of our absolute favorite RV parks! Just far enough outside of town that we felt very safe! The scenery is gorgeous and you're surrounded by orange trees! There's several fenced areas for dogs to run and play and a lovely pool (but the water is absolutely freezing!!). We've already returned for a second stay and will frequent often when we're in town to visit family!

Great place for an overnight. Our overnight however actually lasted a week. We were unable to find other RV parks closer to LA area. Leanne and Kimberly in the office worked diligently to get us an extention on a spot! Oranges are great! Just reach up and pick one from the tree! Yum yum!

The sites are large. They have pull thru and back ins. The facility has a club house, store, gym, pool and laundry facilities. A few xtra perks. You can get mail delivered and its very pet friendly. They also offer rig wash options. If you come during citrus harvest your site comes with orange trees ❤️. Our site is approximately 20*90

Orange Grove RV, Bakersfield site review Our rig/preferences: 17’ Casita travel trailer; prefer peaceful, clean, well maintained facility with good wifi, cordial hosts, E/W/S, picnic table. Don’t value cable, pool, doggie areas, playgrounds, clubhouses. Site surface: Gravel Level: Good Spacing, landscaping: Good spacing, orange trees separate spaces, asphalt access roads. Amenities: Water, electric, sewer all good. A couple WiFi options, but didn’t use. Park appearance: Tidy, attractive, well maintained. Bath/Shower: Very good, tho hot water was out at nearest restroom so needed to use one further from site. Contacts: Minimal, used web reservation. FYI, counter person advised registration service charges $2.50\night fee and makes it difficult to access discounts. She suggested better to reserve by phone. Pricing: $55/nt after 10% discount Notes: one of our favorite commercial camps. Free to pick nice oranges from trees all over park. Pretty close to Hwy 58 and train tracks, but noise from both pretty minor. Stay again?: Have been most Januarys for 10+ years. Would again.

Returning for 3rd year. Always helpful and friendly. Love the oranges 🍊 to pick fresh off the trees. Easy access from highway and not a lot of vehicle noise. Good laundry and showers. Good place to walk.

Staff are friendly helpful donuts were delicious so fresh. Grounds are kept very clean and all the buildings Big bonus is oranges fresh for the picking in December. Only draw back is trains and traffic noise and smog Scenery around is beautiful

  • 2/5 jeanette s. 2 years ago on Google
Ownership has changed. No orange pickers available so at 5 feet, 4 inches, you get scratches trying to pick the better, larger oranges, if you can reach them. The oranges are small due to a lack of water. Perhaps, there was/is a drought, but orange trees take care and water. No donuts in the mornings. One staff person showed zero customer service. Please show some TLC! Not sure that we will return!

Great RV spot. Drive through spaces and reservations were easy to made. We called in the morning for the night and when we got there it was easy to find everything. The Wifi was available everywhere and the bathrooms were clean and there was a lot of space. The laundry facility was also clean and there was a lot of space on the side.

👍👍 LOVED IT!! We were in space 26. Our camping spot was about 20 ft from the river. Yes there is a city park on the other side of the river, but it is still nice. There's little man made shallow pools for kids to swim in on the side of the river. The river itself in this part of the river has a fast cu...

😠 Bathrooms are disgusting. Got yelled at by staff for using the showers after being at the campground for 7 hours. With a tag in the window of our pick up.
