Excellent place for Cuban food! We got the Havana Grande and my husband & I received a plate of black beans, rice & plantain. Flavor was out of this world & the watermelon mojito was on point!! Staff was super friendly and the food came out super quick. Definitely would recommend anyone who has a hankering for Cuban!

If you like Cuban food...this is a great spot! Staff were great, the place was clean and food was really, really good! Prices were very reasonable and portions were good (including the strength of the drinks). We tried a little bit of everything and it was all good. Best yucca I've ever had and you have to try the salsa verde they make in house. We'll definitely be back. #ApprovedByShep

A long overdue critique. Cons.... Let me know if you find one. The moment you walk in the door they make you feel at home. They have bar seating, outdoor patio, booth and table seating as well. Great cuban food that we drove 20 miles away to enjoy when the craving hits. Rum and coke, great, it's rum with a splash of coke (preferred drink). It tends to get busy but is worth the wait. If in the area be sure to stop by, never had cuban food, this is the spot for you.

I have been coming here for years. It is the closest to my mom's cooking. It is real Cuban food, not that Cuban fusion stuff. I love the way they are consistent with the flavor and the service. I definitely recommend it.

Good Cuban sandwich. Marinated pork with ham and cheese and mustard in a toasted bun. Good flavor and good portion size. I also opted for the ham and cheese croquettes, these were good and still crispy after delivery but not as packed with flavor as the sandwich. Food was delivered and still hot and crispy so a head nod to Uber eats for delivering quickly. Good food and a good authentic cuban sandwich.

Absolutely wonderful! I am not a Cuban food connoisseur, but I know flavors, and my way around a restaurant, and Havana Maria does things right. I started with a Hemingway Mojito, which was perfectly crafted and balanced. The Tostones were delightfully flavorful. For the entree, I had the Rabo Encindido. The oxtail was delectable, perfectly sauced, and complemented with al dente beans and rice. I wanted to find room for dessert, but the portions were plentiful and I was already full to the brim. The icing on the cake, was the service - prompt, friendly, helpful, and attentive! I will definitely be back on my next visit to LA.

What a great place! I love the vibe here and the pictures of the malecón in Havana. It's definitely not the same Cuban food you'd get in Miami, but it hits the spot if you're missing home. I'm new to California and moved here after living in Miami my entire life. There were some things that didn't quite feel like home (the rice wasn't sticky enough and the filete de pollo was super thin) but it was still very good! The black beans were phenomenal and the maduros we're slightly overcooked, but I love them that way. My Cuban partner likes them mushy. In short, if you love Cuban food, you'll enjoy this spot because they try really hard to capture the flavors. The onions on the filet de pollo were not picado like they usually are in Miami and it was a little sweet, but I still ate it all. I took away a star because I've honestly never been to a Cuban restaurant that doesn't give you Cuban bread while you wait. I was craving Cuban bread and I was really disappointed to know that they didn't have any -I couldn't order a tostada :( Otherwise, everything else was great and I'll be back!!!

I had lunch at Havana Mania today and ordered the garlic lemon 1/4 chicken, which comes with rice, black beans and fried plantain. The dish was delivered to my table 5 minutes after ordering. It was a small chicken breast without the wing meat and it was overcooked and dry. The rice was cold and the black beans tasted like they came out of a can. I spent a total of $18.00 with the tax and gratuity. I will not be returning.

It was fine, not the best Cuban for I’ve had. I ordered their paella and was actually disappointed. There was no burst of flavors, there were no sausages, it was just ok. My friend though her food was just ok too. Loved the staff though, very friendly and helpful

Authentic Cuban spot with on point mojitos. Came here on a Tuesday around 7:30pm and had no reservations but got seated immediately. Indoor dining only (no outdoor spots available). There’s bar seating as well. Credit cards accepted. Ample parking in the parking lot. They do have happy hour on the weekdays. The employees were all friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The El Criollo is good for two people to split and does come with rice, plantains, and black beans. The meats come separately on one platter. The overall environment is family-friendly and casual.

Great food, staff were also super nice! Everyone was happy with what they got—ingredients were super fresh and everything was piping hot when brought to the table. Restrooms at the back of the restaurant were super clean. 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone.

Great date night experience. Superb cocktails, scrumptious appetizers and the best cubano cuisine main entrees.

  • 4/5 Joannie M. 11 months ago on Google
Great food and bar but it was a little bit warm inside the restaurant. Kinda bummed they didn't serve an appetizer like they do at Mexican places like chips and salsa or something. Will definitely return.

Best Cuban food I've had in a long time! Arroz con Pollo and the Cuban sandwich are amazing but the Ox Tail is what they're known for. Get an extra side of their green hot sauce with whatever you order!!

My daughter and I chose to eat here on a bit of a whim one evening about an hour before closing time. We were welcomed by three different people upon just walking in the door, quickly seated, and just felt so welcome! Our server obviously knew the menu and was very helpful in choosing our dishes. As it was a weekday closer to closing time it was not very busy, there were only two other tables at the time. We absolutely loved our food! There are also lots of options to choose from not just for each meal but also for proteins and sides! This was an easy place for my daughter who has some severe dairy allergies to have a very filling and varied meal! Our family will definitely be adding this to our regular rotation of dining out!

Glad to have found this hidden gem. Of course I had to try out the mojito and it did not disappoint. I ordered a Cuban Sandwhich and a Media Noche. Both were delicious but the Cuban Sandwich was incredible. Better than Portos or Tropical. The Cortadito Coffee was so good.

Definitely nothing to write home about for an outrageous bill.... The food didn't have anything special about it. I could has just stayed home and made that food :( or used that $$ for better justifiable things. Well good to know for the future.

I am from the East Coast and previous Floridian. So I know my way around PR and Cubani cuisine. From the coffee to the cortadita and the mofongo and *" PORK"* everything was authentic and delicious. They also have the soft drinks I remember, Malta and Jupina. I also had the Spicy Ricardo which did not fail to deliver on flavor. First visit and will not be my last. Must for LA Cubani Sabor!
