This
is
literally
the
worst
ER
and
hospital
I
have
ever
had
the
displeasure
of
being
a
patient
at,
which
is
so
unexpected
given
its
affiliation
with
UCLA.
The
doctors
and
nurses
here
refused
to
give
me
treatment
while
I
was
internally
bleeding
and
rapidly
losing
almost
2
liters
of
blood.
I
am
now
looking
into
legal
action
against
this
medical
malpractice.
I
am
only
alive
today
because
an
external
doctor
was
able
to
perform
the
surgery
that
this
"hospital"
refused
me.
MY
STORY:
Not
only
did
it
take
3
hours
to
get
into
the
ER
and
get
assessed
by
a
doctor
when
I
was
bleeding
internally
and
throwing
up
IN
THE
WAITING
ROOM
from
blood
loss,
but
I
waited
over
13
hours
in
the
ER
before
being
admitted
to
the
actual
hospital.
Once
admitted,
the
surgery
team
told
me
they
did
not
believe
my
growing
hematoma
was
a
danger
even
though
my
general
practitioner
doctor
said
it
was.
My
lab
results
showed
me
losing
blood
cell
counts
and
hemoglobin
every
2
hours,
yet
the
team
here
did
not
seem
concerned
by
it.
Before
insurance,
the
total
cost
for
this
visit
was
almost
$20,000
just
for
my
lab
results
to
not
even
be
looked
at,
taken
into
consideration,
or
thoroughly
reviewed
by
any
doctors
here.
BOTTOM
LINE:
I
was
bleeding
internally,
clear
signs
of
rapid
loss
in
my
lab
reports
and
confirmed
by
an
external
doctor.
But
none
of
the
nurses
or
doctors
here
wanted
to
help
me
in
time.
Luckily,
I
successfully
fought
to
be
discharged
so
I
was
able
to
go
elsewhere
for
immediate
care,
and
was
told
if
I
waited
any
longer
(which
the
UCLA
Santa
Monica
hospital
doctors
wanted
me
to
wait
a
week),
I
would
not
have
made
it
out
of
surgery.
I
lose
almost
2
liters
of
blood
and
nobody
here
cared.
WARNING,
I
BEG
YOU:
Please,
if
you
can,
find
somewhere
else.
It
just
might
save
your
life.
(And
$20,000.)
