Absolutely mind boggling to see how this place even has good reviews. To be honest I feel like reporting this hospital for negligence. I came here because the hospital is literally less than a mile away from me and I thought it would be ideal since my dad was suffering from an excruciating abdominal pain Thursday night. The irony right? You go to an ER because it's supposed to be for emergencies. Well not in this hospital. Apparently staff was low based off what the nurse that was at the register window said. They took him in a small room that's next to the window and checked his vitals only. I kept telling the nurses in the back that my dad was in severe pain but their behavior seemed very careless. They saw how he was in agony and still made him wait outside. The nurse that was up in the front said that there wasn't any rooms and that he would have to wait probably for hours on end. So what did we do? We took him to another hospital in Torrance that a neighbor recommended and sure enough he had to stay the night for a kidney infection. His kidney was extremely inflamed. I am assuming due to all the waiting at the Centinela ER room and still having to drive to Torrance. Sad to say this but if you're a minority you're better off going to a better area because your people will definitely let you down. And for the people that work in health care, if you do not love your job please choose a different profession because you only make our health care system look even worse.

99 percent of the staff is highly trained to be rude. ER department can't afford a DR, so it's ran by a RN who is not even checking yet judging the patients. If you yell in the lobby chances are you might get checked quicker but if you sit down and wait your turn it's pretty much next day. My pregnant wife waited 6 hours in the lobby chair and the charge Nurse came and gave us the advice to take her to another facility. An absolute horrible Circus. Centinela is Circus not a medical facility.

Worst Hospital Ever! My partner got admitted since 5 pm and we asked if I could be by his side since im his imidate family member and they said yes but i needed a covid test. I went out my way to get it and came back with one just they can tell me I couldn’t go see him. The security lady was the worst, she clearly did not want to be there. Had the worst attitude. My partner came in with symptoms of a stroke but they told him everything came out normal yet he “had to be admitted.” For normal results ??? This hospital is as joke! Clearly all they care about is money. Admitting people for no reason and bad services!!!! How is Centinela not closed yet???

This is the worst hospital to have a baby. I got the worst care from an admitting nurse. I believe her name was Meg or May. The only thing she said that wasnt an insult was that she was from Lebanon. Something like that. She was very rude to me. She kept putting me down about my health issues and weight. When it was time to transfer to another room, she kept telling me to hurry up so my baby won't be born on the floor. She also told me not to scream because I will scare other women. I'm thinking like wth I am having a baby. It isn't an east thing. She treated my husband horrible like he was a stranger. Even told him to go outside to ask if I was being abused. I think she did that because my husband is black. The nurses don't seem caring at all. I just remember one nurse that seemed okay. I'll never come back there. Worst ob department ever. I will never forget that experience. I wish those nurses never touched my baby at all. All that bad energy. Horrible service. They couldn't even tell me if my son got a vitamin k shot.

Worse hospital ever.. My toddler was having breathing complications.. We called 911 and the ambulance suggested they take the baby of course I road with them. The Nurse Michelle was really nice but didn't have any real medical knowledge.. They discharged my daughter because someone else's needed the bed.. We where instructed to sit in the germ infected waiting until we where able to reach family members for a ride.. Everyone is sleep at this hour..I asked to speak to the supervisor for some help..Mark came out and asked if I could afford my own taxi. At that moment I knew this hospital was the worse.. The older white security was very respectful and understand to everyone even homeless people.. May God continue to blessed him and this hospital staff.. Definitely not community people.. I'm still waiting in the lobby two hours later just contacted my family smh

The worst hospital.....everrrr?... if you are not on your death bed and maybe not even, then do not come here. The service is soooooo bad... don't risk you life, they don't even have a doctor who is on site.... let me drop some names so that we are clear...Dr. Atkinson, straight clown... give black doctors the worst name... you will only be serviced by nurses from UEI, ICDC and ACC who speak less english than a 3rd grader except for 2...literally.....please don't give them your insurance money or any form of payment.... learn from mistakes.... this place should be closed ....like 2 years ago

Absolutely horrible experience. Unfortunately by my medical insurance Centinela was selected for me. Went in with contractions, lobby and check in staff was great but when reached at Labour and delivery department, Charge Nurse Mae aa was absolutely super rude, No working ethics, no professionalism, she made comments on my personal life. Instead of helping me she was more judgemental. I wasn't even seen by a doctor just charge Nurse was making unnecessary comments and without even explaining anything, what and why she was doing anything, she did whatever she wanted. They funniest part she said they can't provide me a wheelchair bcz it's against hospital policy. I am 36 weeks pregnant, can hardly move and she wanted me to walk from 7th floor to parking lot. When my spouse got into an argument with her and insisted, she grabbed a wheelchair. I don't know how these people are able to work in a hospital, either they are not trained on or hospital don't care who treats how, to their patients. It was so annoying that I changed my insurance company to make sure I don't deal with such unethical rude and unprofessional people.

The worst hospital experience I've ever had. Staff was slow and very dismissive. Security antagonize the mentally ill patients. Saw a old woman denied a cup of water and told the fountain is over there. Knowing she couldn't walk or move without assistance. I sat for 4hrs without being seen, even though I told them that my pain level was a 10. Got here at 1030 pm didn't get taken care of till 420 pm. Released at 6am. Side note the Physicians Assistant was extremely nice. And the intake nurse was very nice too.

$4,000 for a shoulder injury that was never diagnosed, nor given treatment other than a prescription for pain killers. walked out of the hospital not able to lift my arm fully for roughly a month after my discharge. The only thing useful was a sick note. Called, and emailed offices during office hours in attempt to settle billing and payments, no return calls. One of the offices gave me a figure of roughly $600, to which I said that doesn't sound right. Staff then proceeds to suggest calling a separate physician, and separate radiology department, that apparently never showed up in their system, when I asked what my bill was. Had I paid the $600, would they still hold me liable for the amount that only later showed up? All associated entities, including physician and radiology are hospital departments, yet their bills did not reflect on the overall bill, I had to practically call repeatedly to investigate as to what my exact bill is, on top of numerous calls not being answered. I can understand that an emergency room fee being elevated than urgent care, but at $4,000 for virtually absolutely nothing being done, this seemed excessive, which makes me think if it's priced to cover expenses I don't know of. The agreement between insurance and this hospital was not made public, so it could literally be snake oil they are charging us for...

Don't come here if you can help it. You'd be raking a gamble on your health. I Know a patient that was brought here for rapid heart rate and disorientation and other things, treated horribly. Dr. Sam from the Er he was rude; the patient was unable to hear or talk and barely could see. She kept telling him she couldn’t hear him and it was hard to talk, he kept poking her with his finger then shook her shoulder, then told her you can open your eyes. Then didn't even come check on her just gave her a sedative and sent her home. (Very crass) Paramedics were using profanity and crass with the help in getting her there, not all of them. and the paramedics didn’t listen to her and downplayed her symptoms. She said she had chest pain then the paramedics told the doctor she didn't. Was not patients first time there, the patients mom asked them to take her to another hospital because of a prior experience, they were denied because this was the closest hospital with an er The nurses were nice especially the charge nurse. but kept poking her because they couldn’t find a vein she was poked in both arms 1 arm 2x and one hand Wouldn't be surprised if someone sued. Centinela you need to do better!!!!!

Was in the emergency room for 6 hours. Which was completely unnecessary! All I had was a dislocated jaw and they didn’t see me way in until around 3am and I got there at 11pm. With only one nurse working they are completely short staffed with no professionalism! Then the doctors was so rude too, no compassion, understanding or anything. Long story short don’t waste your time going there for treatment. They have no sympathy for you. THEY DO NOT CARE

The centinela team prematurely discharged my dad, on the claim he no longer required antibiotics. When we asked if that mean he no longer had an infection, his doctors/nurses were unable to directly state or confirm that my dad no longer had infection. They maintained that he had finished his full course antibiotics and was done, which is also incorrect because he couldn't receive them for 2 days of the course. My dad let the doctors know he was very concerned about them discharging him and he requested culture tests to rule out infection. The doctors repeatedly denied and objected to performing culture tests, maintaining that he no longer required antibiotics. My dad is also flagged he is concerned about abscess formation, and wanted them to take a look. The doctors again refused, waving their hands and saying he is fine to leave and he will be getting discharged. The reality is they can't discharge him if he is actively on antibiotics, and the doctors didn't care about the patient concerns and needs because they were tired of dealing with him and our family. Sure enough, same day of premature discharge, another hospital determined he absolutely still has an active infection, does in fact have an abscess, and was absolutely prematurely taken off antibiotics and discharged too soon. Centinela released a patient who, because of the lack of proper care at Centinela and blatant patient neglect, ended back in a hospital same day. The doctors at centinela prematurely discharged a man who still required antibiotics to fight an active infection. They intentionally deescalated antibiotics, often pressured by the Dr and not ID, so they could follow through with the premature discharge. Had they listened to the patient request/needs, and conducted the exams my father and our family requested, they would have caught all this before following through with an obvious premature discharge.

I strongly encourage anyone to visit any other emergency room. I arrived at 3pm with severe abdominal pain, was not seen until 8pm and all they did was a urine test and tried to give me medicine without doing a proper ultrasound to diagnose the issue. The Asian American doctor performed his exam of my abdomen in the hallway and the mixed doctor with curly hair told the other patient with a sick 3 month old to not come back to the hospital. This is utterly ridiculous. I cannot believe the level of treatment the patients and myself were receiving. In addition, the patients were asked to wait in a room, almost like a holding cell for treatment. The staff were rude and never explained to anyone what was wrong. I ended up leaving after 6 hours of nothing

Emergency room nurse patient ratio is unacceptable. Nurses were being rushed to get patients out they didn’t have time to clean their rooms. Triage would bring patients back to rooms and not let the nurse know she had a new patient New grads were noticed to be trying very hard to take care of patients and be considerate and were continually told your not fast enough hurry up this is about money and getting patients in and out don’t worry about anything else

Horrible experience in the emergency room. The doctor didn’t even introduce herself. When she called my name and I stood up to go meet her, she told me to sit back down and walked over and asked me “how can I help you?” Aren’t you the doctor? I’ve been here over 3 hours, you should be reviewing my tests results with me but she said she had no idea why I was there. She went back to get the results and then proceeded to disclose my diagnosis and personal business to the other patients waiting. Isn’t that a HIPAA violation? No privacy, no professionalism and no compassion, whatsoever. There was a patient in another room shrieking in pain. I couldn’t take it. I had to leave even before receiving my paperwork and I WILL NEVER RETURN. Rude and condescending staff.

Then a White lady came in and said she knows someone inside. They took her inside in 20mins. The nurse are condescending and and rude to the patience even telling them to Shut Up when they complain..... this is the worst establishment I have ever visited

My name is Thelma M. I arrived in an ambulence 11/18/22, at 1:30 AM in servre pain. I was place in a hall just several feet in the drafty hall with the the door open. an hour late placed in a wheel chair, ask for assistance to the rest room and was told Ok, let my find someone. an hour later my husband who could left me rolled me in the bathroom, where someone all ready urinated on the floor. in short I had him grab the trash can, we tilted it and most of my urine landed on my clothes and the floor. My vital signs were never taken, I reported the bathroom incident, being wet and cold. I finally got a blanket and put it over my head. Dr came up to me and pulled the blanket off my head and asked me my name and why I was here, I told him severe Sciatic pain, he said i'ii give you a pain shot, and hour later a nurse gave my a shot, 10 min later I asked to use the restroom again, no assistance , no one was available, I made it. I ask for my discharge papers and was told she had to page the doctor. Hour later he never should, I was able to stand and met my husband met me in the waiting room, i asked about putting in a written complaint and was told I couldn't the had no forms and i needed my on paper. I sat wet from my own urine from about 1:45 am - 6:30am-7:00am. Lastly, the broke HIPPA laws, no privacy while they asked personal questions in front of everyone, this action was with all patients. I am going back to file compliant today. NOTE: this is a condenced version of the story. I went home and showered and went to another emergency room. My vitals were taken within the first 15 minutes, and was asked the appropriate questions in privacy and treated with dignity and respect. I was forced to give one star to post. I wonder what they will bill my insurance company.

Completely awful experience. So many failures. Disorganized, long wait times. Unfriendly, unempathetic intake staff. I was in excruciating pain and was forced to wait in multiple lines to be seen. Not to add the unnecessary paperwork for an emergency intake. All you need is an ID and insurance card. A bunch of paperwork is the last thing an emergency patient should be dealing with. And to add insult to injury the intake person says “make sure you bring back my clipboard”. Just tone deaf. What kind of establishment is this? After having to wait in another line, i realized the quality of care would likely be no better. I ended up leaving to get transported to a separate hospital facility. Also super annoying… Emergency room parking requires you to pay for parking before going into the hospital, but doesn’t have a gated entry for convenience. As I took myself to the emergency, I had to deal with paying for parking and putting the ticket in the car to avoid a tow instead of dealing with my own emergency. This place was a huge disappointment. The vast majority of patients were POC and the overall lack of quality, patient care and chaos inflicted upon those waiting to be seen was deplorable. This place is shameful.

My mom was in this hospital recently. Bedside manner is amazing and the nurses are amazing. Food is questionable. But some of the doctors are idiots. I was also in this hospital two months ago and left in the hallway for 3 hours in the ER. After that the doctor just gave me a uncorrect diagnoses and sent me home. Not all the doctors are bad. But the one who discharged my mom got an attitude, told my mom her pharmacy wasn't real and sent her to another one and didn't call the medication in. They also failed to give her antibiotics for her infection. When she was in pain. We had to call her primary doctor on the phone and get him to talk to the pharmacy. Between Centinela and Little Company of Mary, I'd choose Little Company Of Mary.

Most disgusting disgraceful hospital in Southern California horrible service . Call paramedics to send my loved one to the hospital because of heavy swollen legs due to water retention to find out that they cannot admitted my loved one to stay in the hospital for observation all they did was give a prescription and was told to make a follow up appointment with the primary doctor. Which the primary doctor has told my loved one in the first place to go to the emergency room in regards to swollen water retention in legs and seek emergency medical attention. All this hospital did was discharged my family member and send my immediate family member home still sick and weak to walk . This hospital is a disgrace I hope they get sued.

This Hospital is horrible, avoid if you have a true medical emergency. This hospital is failing it's community. Terrible service from staff, very unprofessional. Unacceptable wait time for true emergency conditions. Staff seems minimally educated and unconcerned with aiding those who need help; not attentive at all! Staff acts like they hate thier job, their life, the patient that come through the doors and as though they have somethng better to do. This hospital is a joke like something you see in a ghetto movie.

Clean, organized, diligent and friendly is the very least I can say about the Centinela Vaccine Clinic Team. I had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Melba, Business Development Manager, who guided me through the appointment process. Check in with Geri was easy and then I received my Pfizer vaccine from Heather, no pain or discomfort. Check out was quick with Rafael. All in All a great experience with an awesome team of people. Thank you Centinela Hospital for serving our community.

One would think a hospital with such poor reviews already would be proud to have a brave, innovative physician on their staff who isn't afraid to speak out about medications that could potentially save thousands of lives.... but instead of being proud and embracing her ideas you fired her. I hope this opens a new door for her so she can practice medicine at a hospital worthy of her... it's apparent from the other reviews here that you weren't good enough to be more than a stepping stone to something better anyway.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my grandfather who recently had a short stay at this facility. He wanted me to let everyone know that the nurses and doctors that took care of him provided excellent and professional care. The whole staff treated him with kindness and respect. They explained everything well and made him feel comfortable. The hospital sent home a thinking of you card and RN Gwen was nice enough to write a personalized message to make sure he had his post care needs taken care of. My grandfather has nothing but nice things to say about his time there. And I would like to thank the staff for taking such could care of my papa!!

They're super helpful and keep good composure on how they talk to people even after dealing with people who are difficult. Doctors on the other hand, each one of them is different and they need to do a better job at finding a way to get doctors to provide quality care

Incredible. Absolutely brilliant in every way possible. Truly a wonderful peaceful experience. From the time you walk in the front door you are treated with loving care. Maria checked me in. A very nice nurse delivered me to my Covid test then to pre op. The medical procedure that was performed by the surgeon in the operating room was extremely professional. Pre operation and post operation crew are first class. Josephine, the recovery room RN is superb and caring. So many nice people. Wish that I had taken more names in order to compliment each one. Thank you all at the Centennial Hospital!

The staff was amazing starting from the phone call I got from Ada prior to my surgery. She was so kind and warm and then also in helping me the day of my surgery. Everyone was amazing and so professional. I felt like I was surrounded by angels- with each person who helped me. Everything went smoothly and I am recovering nicely. Everything was clean and well-organized as well. I’m so grateful for the compassionate and positive experience all the staff gave me!! Centinela Hospital Medical Center is a wonderful hospital with wonderful staff!

I had my gallbladder removed here a week ago and the nurses + staff were wonderful, you can tell they truly care about their patients. I was in and out of the hospital within five hours. The nurses could tell I was a bit nervous but they reassured me.

A dying woman’s partner performed CPR on her whilst screaming for help in this hospital full of medical staff who did…nothing. I can’t imagine a more traumatic situation. Please read April Valentine’s story. Centinela hospital is known around the community for being one of the worst hospitals in the county for Black and Latina mothers and their infants. Dr. Gwen Allen was her OBGYN. Support your staff, give them adequate training and rest, roster enough staff or shut down this hospital so more women of colour don’t die in your hands

I can't believe this hospital. My patient was robbed in the emergency room . I reported it. Filed a police report, talked to Security. They did nothing! They admitted my patient. She doesn't have a phone in her room. How is her family supposed to contact her? There is no call button for the nurses in her room. How is she supposed to receive help,? assistance to the bathroom??? And when they do show up she has soiled herself. Do not take your relatives to this hospital...please!

If you want horrible care, possible death and staff who don't care about you come to this hospital. My dad has had the unfortunate emergency to be brought here twice. The first time the nurse who was supposed to be watching him 24/7 because he is a fall risk, confused and elderly, decided to go make a phone call which caused him to try and get out of his bed where he fell and broke his arm, along with dislocating his shoulder. She did the only right thing by calling me and admitting her mistake. Then they sent him to another facility without notifying any family. A missing person report was filed and a week later I was finally able to locate him. This month he slipped and fell. Broke his leg and arm. The doctor refused to inform me of his condition. His nurse refused to tell me his condition. I am the only family member left and if you asked my father questions on where he was, the date, the year, the month or what had happened, he would be unable to give a correct response. Once again the moved him to another facility, and again did not inform me of anything. Two days went by without any info about where is was. Not one person could tell me anything. The staff was rude and disrespectful. To the point one nurse complained she should not have picked up the phone. No one could tell me where he was moved to. Not one person could inform me what happened to him. Another police report was filed. This hospital needs to be shut down. Not a care for human life. Abuse of elder patients. Horrible service. Nurses who care more about a paycheck then human life. This hospital is a scam to defraud the insurance companies. NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!

Absolute worst hospital I ever been to. I’m from out of town and was in a head on car collision, sent to the ER with a lack of urgency. I’ve been here since 4 pm and have yet to be fully examined with a Cat Scan for my chest pains and hip. Workers here lack knowledge and attention to their patients with information on what’s going on. If I could give zero stars I would. This place needs new administration ASAP !

My family and I received our covid vaccinations at Centinela hospital. As physicians, my husband and I were very impressed with the organization, professionalism, and the kindness of the staff. It feels more like a family when you walk in. Everyone was helpful and polite. Even the gardener greeted us ! The staff were competent and compassionate. Melba was not only gracious but oversaw much of the process. She is a super star! From check in to check out the whole process ran smoothly. Dr. Patel, the other doctors, nurses and entire staff should be very proud of their contribution to jumping into action when the vaccines first became available. It was seamless for patients. We are immensely grateful.

My husband and I were lucky enough to receive our Covid vaccination here. We were so relieved not only to get the vaccination, but to be treated with such care and respect. We felt safe and were greeted with warmth. We didn't have to wait and there were no lines upon arrival. The nurses explained everything and treated us with dignity. And it didn't hurt! It was also pretty great that parking was a breeze! I feel so fortunate to have had such a positive experience!

Our nurse Lisa was just wonderful and patient! She kept me informed of every step and what to expect ! This is by far the best ER experience I’ve had. THANK YOU CENTINELA!

Just google April Valentine and this hospital’s name. According to some of the one star reviews saying how the staff is disgustingly rude and lack empathy, there’s no way you cannot believe the story of April Valentine being neglected by the nurses at this hospital. April lost her life January 10, 2023. She and her partner complained to the nurses for hours that she couldn’t feel her legs and the nurses ignored her. Then she died due to neglect while bringing her baby into this world.

Genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had in a medical facility. The L&D staff as well as NICU staff were all so patient, supportive, and genuinely the sweetest people I’ve met. The staff was more than accommodating; they made sure not only myself, but also my husband was cared for with blankets and food and then some. They also made sure that I was always comfortable, and helped make sure I was unplugged from my IV when I could be so that I could visit the NICU to see our son. The NICU staff always let us stay for however long we wanted, as long as it wasn’t the non-visiting hours, and gave extra thorough updates on how he was progressing. Genuinely had a great stay at the hospital, specifically because of the staff that I had received care from. (Shoutout to Dee and Dawn from the Labor and Delivery team, without them, I wouldn’t have been able to survive any of the time that I was there)

THE WORSE HOSPITAL IN INGLEWOOD! The receptionist specifically told me that the hospital is understaffed.. what hospital is EVER understaffed? We shouldn’t be waiting for 2 hours to get stitches removed. One person handling multiple patients emergency cards. One person at the discharge desk and a lobby full of patients that need to be helped. Hands down the worse! If you live in Inglewood or the surrounding areas of Inglewood don’t come to this hospital. I cut my hand almosy a month ago. Blood leaking everywhere and it took them and hour and half to treat me after signing paperwork when I was loosing blood on the floor at the hospital. Never again. EVER. Cause you will die if you come to Centinela Hospital… FACTS!

The worst emergency experience. After 3 hour wait in the waiting room, I’m now on my 4th hour in emergency to be to told “wait a minute”. No doctor has seen me and I’ve been here over 7 hours. Still waiting… Update: i waiting another 2+ hours trying to get nurses attention. Not once did someone come to me to inform me they were busy, they would get to me, nothing. They just ignored my pleas and walked by…Omgosh it was so frustrating. Then one nurse said she heard and would try to escape a doctor to see me….finally came back and told me she was able to put me on the top of the list, but that it would be at least another hour….. I walked out.

I have been here since 8pm. The doctor only has come to the room once told me he wanted blood work done. I was waiting for about an hour or so and nobody has done anything. Nobody checked my right leg to see why my leg is moving voluntarily. This is why I decided to go to the ER. This is the reason I would rather go to Little Company of Mary in Torrance. What if I had a seizure seems they would care less and not help me at all.

I’ve been twice to the office of Dr.Reddy and he has treated my father with exceptional and caring care here in the office as well as in the hospital. His staff is also very compassionate caring and understanding to one’s needs. The doctor listens and guides my father on what is best for him to do to better manage his health. They work with me to see him where it fits with my work schedule which mean a lot for me since I care for both my father and mother.

Cafeteria: California law requires hospitals to have at least 1 vegan meal option at every meal for both patients and visitors. They don’t have vegan meals on most days. Other than that, the hospital staff is great, especially in the ICU. The doctors are pretty amazing, Dr.Kirkland has been so helpful.

Been here for 4 hrs, calmly waiting in ER lobby while hacking up a lung, no Kleenex available, and in severe chest pain. I asked triage nurse for an update so I can determine if it's better to drive somewhere else or stick it out here. He replies "well you just have a cough, you might be seen by 10pm." It's currently 2:30pm. Meanwhile, the other triage nurse who I originally saw said "pretty sure u have COVID, and a strong case of it". I also mentioned, I'm having trouble breathing. Meanwhile, I seen a girl come in with a complaint of a tooth ache and they scrambled for her. She was in and out in an hour. This is straight up disrespectful and the level of care here is so unprofessional. Is my insurance going to accrue a multi thousand dollar bill for me sitting in the lobby??

Well my experience was pretty good. Some of the nurses were cool they were patient with me and my partner since we had our first child delivered there. It was OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE.Also, some sure love to talk over me when I was trying to get the understanding in certain things and It felt like the Asian nurses were in a hurry? It seems like they get irritated? If I had questions for them. The way they remark it’s like they’re belittle me and my partner like we’re stupid. I notice the energy coming from them and I don’t appreciate it.

I 2nd that, Centinela was once one best HOSPITALS in the entire country.. The last 30 some odd years has been brutal to this place... Hospital of the STAR Athletes such Lamar ODOM, Magic Johnson, Olden Polonaise.. Just to name a few.... Mom mother brought to hospital because she was having a stroke, they Have ran all shorts of test, test revealed she has had mutiple strokes. When asking the doctor when was her last stroke episode, they CA not answer your question.. The food is SO SO bad it's not ateible, thus my mom has not had any nutritional food since she BEEN at Centinela. But they continue to pump her with drugs on an empty stomach.. She can barley walk, so they provided her with a rusty 40 year OLD potty.. 7th floor were my mom is located is like the floor from a bad scary movie.... Patiersents are screaming. For nurse to HELP them either with pain or needing assistance to bath room.. Do they respond no.. It took three hours before a nurse finally respond to an elderly patient DO NOT TAKE YOUR relative to CENTINELA HOSPITAL

The doctors and the majority of the medical team was outstanding! My grandmother was in excellent hands and I couldn’t be more grateful of the team! Well, most of them… We had a horrific experience with our ward nurse Freddie. Never there when we needed him and consistently rude. Never answered our questions and made the experience insufferable. It wasn’t until he went on break that we were able to get help for his extremely brilliant co-workers. Apart from Freddie we had a great experience considering… Freddie was a terrible and needs an attitude check. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for Freddie.

I was hospitalized for three days for an issue with my kidney at Centinela and I have never felt more cared for or listened to by nurses and doctors alike. They made sure I was fully recovered and felt confident in returning home. If anything happens in the future Centinela will be the first place I go for care.

I was admitted to Cedars Sinai Marina del Rey hospital on June 18 for severe back pain and sciatica. I left on June 30 to a rehab facility. I have never been treated so well in a hospital. The nursing, administrative and physician staff deserve kudos for doing their jobs over and above what is expected. I was treated with care, attentiveness and patience the whole time I was there dealing with excruciating pain. The food was delicious when I finally got an appetite. I have to give credit also to the lab/x-ray staff for their gentleness. My joy came when I was selected to meet two of the L.A. Rams, it made me feel even more special. I can’t thank you enough Cedars for getting me through a very painful episode with dignity, gentleness and a joyous atmosphere!

This place is totally trash. From my current experience. I told them my conditions. And the what they call a nurse. Was oddly rude. I have been waiting since 8pm of 10/01/23 it's now midnight and they have been calling people who came after me and I have been waiting. I'm very offended by the medical service I experienced here. Being that I am in the medical field myself I would never treat any patient this way. It's called empathy and respect .

Few staff was extremely helpful. My night shift nurse Kisha was excellent. She was one of the best on the 8th floor. I’m sorry to say no doctor came in to see me after I was admitted and now after 3 days I’m going to be discharged and no one gave me info on blood work CT scans and Ex rays and ultrasound. I’m move to 6 th floor less than 10 minutes they have a nurse to ask me did I know that they are about to discharge me in a few hours. Why can’t I been discharged before moving to a room to the 6th floor. Room. It’s unprofessional
