Decent rooms and food! Really liked the gym area that's a must go. The washrooms, however, were old a bit and would appreciate a hand bidet. Overall, it was a good stay.

I booked king suite with balcony from Booking, when I arrived the receptionist told me that they don’t have that kind of room(which was strange to me)He mentioned different types of rooms and that all of them are without balcony except the executive suite which wasn’t available because air conditioning was down. Btw there was pics of the desired suite with balcony on Booking but he blamed it on Booking and it was their mistake! Another reason why I chose this hotel is the swimming pool but it was closed also. Bed wasn’t comfortable at all , you can feel metal springs poking your body. Breakfast was below average. Staff were friendly though and suite was spacious.

Fantastic hotel rooms are spacious and very clean, have everything you need and if it doesn't just ask. All the staff are very helpful and attentive. Nice terrace area to have a few drinks or something light to eat.

Rooms were spacious, decor is standard but maybe a bit dated. Room was decently clean. Very minimal sound proofing from the streets if you're facing the main street Showers randomly go hot and cold so beware

An excellent hotel in every sense, spacious and well-equipped rooms, excellent shower, excellent cleaning and cleaning staff, very good breakfast (although there is no variety and every morning the same things in the same location...) the staff at the reception are excellent, professional and with a smile. In conclusion, a highly recommended hotel.

Nice hotel, large and comfortable rooms, give a sense of 'luxury' kind of, hotel chosen by a colluege, not me, dependent on taxi to get around, a bit too far to walk to the centre, and too much trafic, which is right outside the hotel, taxi that is

A beautiful luxury location, but the wifi connection was slow, beverage service during lunch was not offered to everyone, food was tasty but the tablecloths were wet, my dress took the wetness after the lunch. It could be an attractive point for more business events if they improve these points. Photo is attached from the light breakfast (only desserts).

I dropped off for a cup of Hot Chocolate. The place is quite and clean. The cafeteria with a big selection of teas, coffee and desserts is right behind the reception. The perspective of my hot chocolate is different from what I usually get. It's cacao powder in a quite big cup. What I would like to see instead is melted hot chocolate in a small coffee cup with a glass of water. Water is usually served to balance the "density" of hot chocolate. The blood pressure rises up if tye the chocolate is of high quality. However, a very friendly staff, comfortable chairs, beautiful round tables, glamorous place to relax.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is clean and comfortable with nicely refreshed public spaces, and I really enjoyed the vibrant green color. As globalist members, we were greeted personally and given a very large suite. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, but it was also dated in decor and quite dim if you wanted to be picky. However, it suited us well and we were well cared for with a generous welcome gift and excellent housekeeping. I especially liked the comfortable couches and two bathrooms in the suite. Many people took care of us at the hotel and the staff was always quick to help. Kamaran was very cheerful and friendly when welcoming us to the cheerful and very pretty restaurant. We found the restaurant staff to be helpful and professional, and the breakfast was varied with many local foods (even fresh feijoa and persimmon). The omelet chef was very good. One suggestion would be to have bowls at the area with the cereals, there never were any and we always had to ask. Eliza was also very kind and helpful and made our stay more smooth. The one place we found clear opportunity for improvement was at the Regency Club. It very much appeared to be an afterthought and not up the attention to detail of other parts of the hotel. Each night it served a variety of cold vegetables, a couple of sandwiches in the fridge, one hot entree (always some meat and some potato when we were there) and a soup. The food was fine, but there was really no lounge service, you weren't greeted by the man who was (sometimes) there, and if you needed something (butter for bread, ketchup for potatoes) the answer was a curt "no". On our first night there was a table with wine and liquor, but the white wine and prosecco were warm, and there was no ice. On the second night there was no alcohol out, so I ask. He asked what I wanted (I wasn't sure) so I sad red wine, and brought it out from a store room, poured a glass, and then took it away back to the storeroom. The same thing when I asked an hour later for a second glass. It was very odd, and I felt like I had to bother him and was confused. Overall, it was fine, but management needs to visit the Regency Club or get more feedback on this, small changes could bring big improvement, such as a smiling and friendly staff person who was willing to help. Lastly, the entire time we were there there was some literally rotting grapefruit water in the lobby that was never updated or replaced and you could see how old it was. It's a good place to stay for your holiday and a few more attention to details would make it a fantastic place and we are glad that we chose the Hyatt Regency Baku and hope to return someday and see an improved Club Lounge product.

This hotel has not good location in Baku, It is 45 min because of the traffic jam to go from the coast to Izmir str. ! It's only 3 km ! Stay on the port to join speedway rapidly...

This hotel is located only minutes away from the Old City with minimal foot traffic. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Specifically a staff member who helped with explaining local foods and places to visit. I believe her name was Nuriyya, but she made sure my team had 100% satisfactory service.

Early check in accepted, service is good. Breakfast was not served on check out day since we had to leave at 6.15 and they open at 6.30. Rooms are spacious, they are little tight on personal care supplies. Location is amazing.

Thanks to the staff for a good time. Communication in different languages, cleaning every day, changing towels, there are beautiful cosmetics (no need to take anything to the trip), various dishes for breakfast and a small sweet gift when leaving. The view from the balcony is a separate story, a city that falls in love, I advise everyone to see and try!

Stayed for one night with a group tour. Spacious room with all amenitirs and tub. We were on the second floor facing the main road but did not hear the traffic. Breakfast was very nice. Location wasn't the best being a little further from the center.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff is very friendly, helpful. It is very centrally located and in a safe area to walk around even at night. Our room service was great, Turan who cleaned our room took great care 8f us and very conscious. She saw I had folded my pillow, so next day she gave me extra pillow. We were using our bottled water for brushing so next day she left more water for us. She was not only just cleaning but making sure the guests are looked after. Turan, went above her call of duty and we really appreciated the extra touch. Nice piano bar in the lobby daily, enjoyed the music and the food.

I visited in July and some parts of hotel were under renovation. Location of the hotel is good there are a lot of restaurants and grocery stores nearby and it was close to all the major tourist attractions . The hotel staff compensated us a-lot as pool and some other services were unavailable. Rooms were spacious and clean their reception area needs to be renovated too as the furniture is old . Their breakfast was not up-to the mark of Hyatt limited range and nothing special . Overall stay was comfortable .

Very old and worn out Hyatt. Breakfast, service and rooms itself below average and not fit 5 star hotel requirements. The only positive thing is newly renovated fitness/spa area. Do not come again.

Hotel is in a close proximity, Taxis are easily available. I recommend to use app called Bolt for commuting as it’s the cheapest and reliable. Hyatt has great team who connects with the guest & makes stay comfortable. F&B team goes extra miles to satisfy your needs. Breakfast team is great in handling crowd and still manage to give personal attention to your needs. Specially Kamaran & Elbariz is exceptionally good & commendable the way they have attention to your needs and make you feel like home. Highly recommend this hotel.

Well, old fashion Hyatt. Far away from the center and main attractions. After two nights stay I have decided to relocate in another real 5 star hotel. To be honest staff was helpful and great but hotel itself not worth paid money. Easily you can find better 5 star hotel for same price in Baku.

Today was my birthday and i bought some raffaelo e ferrero roche in this morning for the staff. But they have done more than this. Many congratulations , a tiramisu cake very delicious, and a very goodglass of prosecco only for me. Thank you to all the staff. I don t never receive something like this not even in Hilton or Sharaton. Like i said in the beginning of my journey , Hyatt number one. If you want to live something special have to stay here almost one day and after judge. Thank you again. The best.

Exceptional customer service, always helping, always smiling. Nice and professional employees - everyone! Clean, cozy. Excellent breakfast and good spa treatments (nails and massage). In addition , there is also a gym that was very clean and professional, not overloaded and fitness trainers who have always helped. Amazing location, extraordinary services , great hotel!

This is one of the leading and traditional hotels in Baku. The buffet breakfast is excellent. It has wide selection. I liked several types of honey. The service is excellent too. The rooms are relatively wide, and definitely neat, clean and tidy. The interior design is worth mentioning.

Affordable and close to city centre. Nice for family and business trips. Good breakfast and overall excellent service

Having visited many similarly priced hotels around the world, I should mention that I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience and attention to detail. Our standard room was relatively spacious and very neat. The interior decor was understated and classy. The service was excellent and everything worked hassle free. The only complaints I can think of are the less than optimal location and the quality of the in-room dining food.

Friendly staff and OK facilities even though it's a bit outside of the main city centre areas and old town. The rooms are fine and everything works but if you're coming from the UK you will find it a bit basic I'm guessing. The pool area was a good place to relax and enjoy a beer and a snack and there are several good restaurants within easy walking distance.

Best hotel I've been at in a long while. Spacious and clean rooms with complimentary water, tea and coffee in the rooms. Great breakfast; includes omelet made to order and real fruit juices made on the spot. And last but not least, nicest and friendliest staff.

Spacious and well lit room, comfortably large washrooms, big tv, good wifi and a nice swimming pool. The service could be better. We had to carry our own bags - which is not an issue but we're talking about a 5 star hotel here so I had to deduct a star. Also the extra bed in the room was a little too springy. But definitely recommend the hotel if it fits your budget.

First time and last time. I don't know who gave then the 5 star rating but its an ancient hotel and the beds are so old. And to top it all off, they dont respect guests privacy. I had the DND sign on the door but they still come in and clean the room. And then i go to complain to the duty manager and guess what .... they dont have a manager on duty.

Spent a couple of hours at the pool as an outside guest, but couldn’t chill at all. Apparently a conference was scheduled for the day after so tables were being moved everywhere. It gave the impression all the guests should leave, especially when tables are being put right next to you. Besides that the inside showers weren’t clean, stains of soap and hair everywhere.
