The Landmark Hotel in Baku is one of my favorites in the world. From the 17th (? anyway high) floor breakfasts overlooking the Caspian Sea - as good as I've ever had: fresh baked goods, amazing espresso, just first class - to the 9th floor gym and pool overlooking the city, it's first class through and through. The check in - which takes place on an upper floor - is a bit tedious, but the staff is friendly.

Visited this hotel for a work function during the Grand Prix. Good facilities and staff were excellent at keeping it as tidy as they could. Bar staff great. Food selection very generous!

Stayed in Feb 2019 for the second time in nearly two years. Checking in rather late, I was warmly welcomed at the reception by Muradali. He ensured that, this time, my room faced the Caspian sea and also kindly helped me with printing. The room was similarly configured as before but with a nicer sea view. It is a good comfortable size and quiet enough for rest after jet-lagging flights. I love the chef's made-to-order omelettes at breakfast - he really made them well done as I love and was truly delicious with the caramelized onions. The omelette became the highlight that I looked forward to each morning! Because it was winter, the fireplace at one end of the breakfast room was lit by wood fire which provided natural warmth and a subtly comforting smell that I love. The executive lounge on the 21st floor was also welcoming and a nice place to relax or meet with friends for a chat. The unassuming ground floor entrance of the hotel (take the right-side revolving door instead of the left which leads to offices), and the reception, may make one question whether the Landmark is really 5stars. And there may be other international 5stars hotels nearby but I was happy to stay here again. We visited the nearby Hilton for meetings and lunch and it seemed more visually luxurious but felt perhaps less warm and personable.

This is the worst hotel that I ever seen how it’s 5 star hotel it should be 2 or 3 star hotel the service is bad and they are disrespectful and they don’t even have staff to take your bag to the room and their breakfast is bad and their room quality things is so bad this is not worth 20$

Good hotel but feels like an apartment building. Need to ad more life to the reception area and hotel atmosphere. Having said that, i had a pleasant stay and may comeback again.

The rooms are large and comfortable with good showers. However that's the only good part of this hotel. Terrible customer service, poor house keeping, and definitely not 5* (closer to a high 2*, low 3*). The room was not clean on checking in, and regularly not cleaned sufficiently throughout my 3 month stay, hot water switched off for 3 days without warning or explanation, poor wifi in rooms (often wouldn't work at night), lots of construction works going on inside the hotel, and out of our group several people had items go missing from their rooms which the management refused to act on. If you are in Baku for one night it should be fine, but for anything longer, avoid this hotel at all costs.

Nice hotel with quite big rooms. But reception is something 22. Floor or something like that. Not easy order a taxi and go through. No sitting place in the entrance.

Excellent place to stay. 10 minutes walk to Nizami Street and sea-side. Rooms are specious. Good breakfast options. Clean and well furnished rooms with all five star amenities. Helpful receptionist. For the VAT certificate, make sure to get the government official document. The one provided by the hotel was useless. Overall , it was a good and comfortable stay.

Large room, clean and good location for shops bars and restaurants. WiFi worked well throughout the hotel. My room had AC , mini bar ( fridge) and a safe. Good gym and 25m pool. My gripes were that the tv had no HDMi input (for Fire Stick) and most channels are not English. Sounds trivial but when working away from home its one of those little luxuries you miss. the cooked breakfast buffet was cold most days. I usually went for breakfast at 6am and i think they put the food in to heat through from underneath, rather than cooking it and keeping it warm. I went at 7am one day and it was good. They chef will cook eggs to order which 8s good. Also, if you ask for tea they give you green tea so if you like a traditional cuppa ask for black tea.
