It’s a very nice place with a vibe of Russia, which I missed. Tastes and dishes are like in childhood, so nostalgic and also delicious. We tried classic Russian olivier, beef stroganoff, mushroom soup and Kyiv cutlet, everything was good. Staff speaks Russian, surprisingly 😂 but prices are a little bit high But place is very nice and close to the embankment

Beautiful ambience, feels like being invited to an upscale residence. We had fantastic borscht, very tasty pelmeni and very tasty beef stroganoff. Recommended!

The biggest restaurant I've been to! You can easily get lost there. The interior is thoroughly thought through and is full of little touches that create very relaxing and home-like ambience. The service is friendly and attentive. In regards to the food, the menu provides enough options for meat-lovers, pescatarians, and vegetarians. Every meal we've tried was scrumptious.

Food was good and new to us as we haven’t tried Russian food before. Service was excellent and fast. The BBQ was a bit too salty to our taste. The decorations inside the restaurant is amazing and feels you are inside a museum from the old Russian times.

You should probably make a reservation if you’re arriving later than 7:30. The place has an amazing vibe. The menu comes as a tablet so you don’t get lost in it. All food we tried had great taste and quality.

Actually place serves full set of Ukrainian/Odesa food - from borshch and olivie to honey cake and marinated harring. Good food and service, highly recommended.

The best breakfast place in Baku. Although I had taken a hotel with breakfast, I are at Mari Vanna and ignored the hotel breakfast. Elegant place with great and tasty food and superb service. We were four myself and the family....

Great as a place to have a look on the Russian cozy culture with a cup of coffee & honeycake, but the staff is not friendly AT ALL. Worth to visit, but DO NOT expect to be nicely treated and served. The rudeness spoils the experience.

Authentic Russian cuisine. I can't express how much I enjoyed the food there that I lost track of time and I kept on ordering and trying different dishes. Definitely, a must when you travel to Baku.

Come to taste old soviet atmosphere, tasty russian food and friendly environment. I tried borsch, which was little salty than normal, Kiev Kotleti and Pelmeni were nice. Service might be slow depending depending how busy they are. You need to make reservation in advance for evenings.

My second visit to Mari Vanna, the first happened to be in their London branch. The food was better here but the service left something to be desired. This was the only place in Baku where I didn't feel as welcomed. Such a shame because everywhere else in Baku people were smiling and eager to help. I'd stick to the London branch for now. Four stars for the food and ambiance though.

Really very nice place with the old style, I love it a lot and especially the bathroom 😂 with the kids pictures. Cute place and so cozy and you feel you are part of it but food weren't that good. Only the kofta was good 😍

Restaurant is right across the street from the Hilton Baku. Looks quiet from the outside but the set up is very cozy when you inside. Food was very good and service was excellent. Gave my server a very nice tip as he is the best during my week in Baku.

Such a beautiful experience dining in this place, very nice atmosphere, wonderful decoration, and professional staff. Food is not the best food you ever had, but the whole experience was great. Good place for couples. Prices are very reasonable compared to service and food. It has indoor and outdoor seatings. I would recommend to try this place at least once

probably the best place I've ever been to for breakfast! We ordered random starters and 2 main courses. Portions are huge, 4 of us got full and still had two plates left. Highly recommended for Breakfast and Lunch
