Decent food in old city, its a cute place but honestly they need to improve the service. We visited with little children who dropped a small amount of food (literally a bite of egg) on the floor while eating and the waiters made such a huge deal about having to clean it. Service is also slow. I would happily tip for the mess we made but didn’t bother to after all that drama. Moral of the story, if you have young children, don’t go here. Theres a nice place 2 restaurants down called Qaynana- the service there is wonderful.

Highly recommended. Chicken skewers are well cooked but lack anything out of ordinary. Breakfast is very good. Order yourself some bread with cream and honey alongside chai. Beautiful combination. I personally enjoyed tava-kebab as well. Tangy tomatoes, rich lamb and fluffy eggs. Highly recommended.

Sehirli Tendir was one of my favorite place since university years.☺️ I mean since 2013 and back then the interior was super traditional and sweet.✨ But in this year, I have been in this cafe 2 times and both were totally disappointed.😒 Insanely overpriced and food was not tasty.💸 + they charged us for something that we didn’t order but when we saw it we informed our waiter about it and they solved this problem. Staff were okay.. Interior changed A LOT and I didn’t like it. Feels like super artificial and uncomfortable.

The best food I had in Baku. It was really great, their Lula rolls are a must try with their butter milk. Tried their pulov rice which was great too and their fresh bread is just amazing. Would visit this place again the next time I visit. The waiting time was around 35mins for a table, but it was worth the wait.

We made the mistake of dining in the Sehrli Tandir on the 5th of March because a vast majority of the restaurants around were fully booked while Sehrli Tandir seemed quite empty - this alone should have deterred us-. Prices seemed reasonable at first but the portions were so comically small it came out to be by far the most expensive meal we’ve had during our stay, all for a bland, tasteless dinner experience. To top it all off, an unbelievably rude member of the staff refused to accept credit card without stating a reason even though they had Visa logos all over the restaurant. Truly a horrendous experience.
