My parents and their family friends were on vacation and came here based on the recommendation of their tour guide/driver. Due to the language barrier my parents always try to ensure that they make sure the order is correct and pointed on the menu and made sure the waiter understood what items on the menu they want to order. They are quite old so they really don't have too much of an appetite. The waiters took advantage of the language barrier and brought out one of their excessive dishes (enough to feed like 12 people) for my parents group of about 5. Not only did they make sure they conned my parents, the waiter also demanded a tip although there was already a service charge AND this wasn't even what they ordered. Absolutely pitiful.

Staff is over friendly you will know when they bring you your country's flag. A bit old setting and furniture. All tourists ( GCC) are brought directly on from the airport by drivers and guides to stop for lunch or dinner/ whom you will pay for their food too. Food prices are expensive. They ask for cash but you may pay in card. You will get better taste in the city and lesser prices. The meat is good when eaten warm.

Extremely friendly staffs..... Big restaurant and beautiful modern ambience. Food was exceptional. We ordered dolma, dhusbara, beef saj and lamb chops with rice and veggies..... Everything was just delicious. We were assisted by Laila...... She was super sweet girl, Helped us through out.

Taste is average and also take more time for food serving.Just you need to very careful at order time just double check what you ordered. Charging high amount for food .Lunch time they gave us extra food that we didn't ordered, almost we pay around 500 manat for that. Very bad behaviour from the staffs.

Food and ambience are top notch. The service was great. The price is on the higher side and most of the items in menu are quite expensive as compared to other restaurants in the city. Good experience overall.

Food is tasty but cost also very high. The staff won’t speak English, they won’t explain the Quantity of food which we need. even you ask they will explain some things which we don’t want. We may shock Once bill comes. So better to stay away from this hotel

Food is tasty and nice. Freshly cooked. Mostly meat (lamb, beef and chicken) they used to offer. We are looking for seafood especially fish in their menu and nothing is mentioned, however, this can be ask to one of the staffs, they have some food that are not mentioned in the menu but can be cooked and served. Price is handy. Area is clean. The restaurant is divided into two parts, smoking and non smoking area. Table spacing is maximized, not to spacious, enough for you to walk between two tables. Tip & advice: (1) try to ask for updates regarding your order. It takes time to cook and lots of diners visit this place. (2) for tourist, better to dine here after all the tour itinerary (for that day), you need to spend at least 30 mins for your newly cook food. Think about that 30 minutes.

A great dining place for Sheesha, Kababs, Beer. The ambience is very good, two seperate rooms from smoking and non-smoking. Kababs are juicy and delicious. Salads are fresh cut. Great spot for big group dining.

An amazing restaurant with amazing food. The taste of meat was rediscovered with the mix platter. One of the most friendliest people. Wafadar, one of the owners was such a down to earth person. Will recommend everyone and will want to go again. Of course it's a bit pricey but the taste and ambience you get is worth it.

Taste is very good. Just you need to very careful at order time just double check what you ordered. We went there twice. Breakfast time after starters they serve us main dishes after 45 minutes. Dinner time they gave us extra food that we didn't ordered so be careful.

Huge place and seems very popular too. Went for late lunch, they have a lot to offer. Tried Rice, Soup Dushbara, Piti and Komplat.

One of the most famous restuarant for Arab tourist to have breakfast, lunch here. Staff welcome you with two flags, their country and your country flag. They also guide you to choose from menu. We have order their famouse local breakfast. And it was super delecious. Its cost us 60 manat for 4 persons.

First restaurant we came to in Baku. If you ever decide to visit Baku, I highly recommend you try going to this place. Such a refreshing place to be at and the food is very good, there is a wide range of options you can choose from also the people working there were extremely helpful and one of them was very funny and kept making conversation which was great. Personally my favorite thing was the salmon and also the rice with meat, OH AND THE DOLMA WAS ALRIGHT.

A lovely place, slightly expensive but beware of tax, super ethnic. They know very little English but their service is awfully superb. The food is good offcourse depending on what you order and how delicate your food palate is. They have a wide range of meat selections.

I tried them for breakfast and dinner and both were really delicious. The staff was very friendly, especially Ibrahim and Action. Even the manager was asking all people at the restaurant if everything is fine. This place was comfy and I will come again inshaallah.

I liked the food very much. The different kinds of kababs are mouthwatering and very delicious. The special dish with rice in a pastry and fruit are so yummy. I am definitely coming back. The waiter was very polite and welcoming and gave us very good suggestions. The only thing that Disappointed me is the bathroom smell for the ladies and the cleanliness of the chairs and the dining tables. I would usually give a four-star for the cleanliness, but the food was so good that I couldn’t give it less than five stars.

We dined in for lunch, this was our first time as per the recommendation of our driver. Its a huge restaurant with all the amenities. The staff was friendly and the main issue was almost none of them speak English. Being one of the most tourist recommended places, they must look into this. It was difficult for us to order our food as the waiter didn't understand anything we said. Finally we ordered something which was just about average. The overall atmosphere of the place was crowded and noisy. Surely its a very sought after restaurant as we could experience would definitely visit again with our family.

It's a family friendly restaurant ideally for halal conscious people, as alcohol is forbidden in this restaurant. Restaurant contains smoking free area and place to dine in with smoking and cabinet for groups of 4-10. Besides nice meaty dishes for moderate prices, it offers it's 2nd floor for wedding parties that can hold around 150 people.

Exceptional experience at Salam Alekum Restaurant in Baku! The hummus and pita were absolutely delicious, and the Turkish coffee was amazing. The best spot for authentic Turkish cuisine. Highly recommend!

The ambiance of this place is very good. But the food we ordered both veg n non veg wasn't very good. May be the food was not to our tasting but to the local consumers.

Alert, alert, alert, SCAM Scam, scam, scam please don’t go to this place. This is a scam restaurant, horrible they will push food without tell you the price. The order which we have placed was cancelled and he has given this platter. They had mix beef with mutton and chicken in a platter dish. Such cost for 4 people 400 mantas which is equivalent to 20,000 Indian rupees. He took over the menu so that we would not know the price. Please don’t do to this place.

I didn't like the taste at all...food was not cooked properly....not recommended

The restaurants serves Halal food but is not advisable for non-smokers, as the entire area was smelling cigarettes when we, a group with 3 small kids went there to dine in, the restaurant has an in-house prayer area for muslims. The food was served was average and super expensive. We were later told by our guide that, the restaurant even had a separate menu for tourists with jacked up prices.
